* DrivenToSuicide: Sheriff Polson in "Hot Spell" takes his own life before Del arrives to arrest him. He even makes out an arrest report detailing both of the murders he committed, as well as his own suicide, and the motives for his crimes.
* MakeItLookLikeAnAccident: Sheriff Polson in "Hot Spell" dumps Ronnie Stryker's body in his swimming pool to make it look like an accidental drowning, but no one buys it since there's no water in his lungs, only the trauma to the back of his head.
