* MilestoneCelebration: Every year for the game's anniversary, many creators get together and start months in advance to remake their or other people's parts of levels for "PA: Memories", a megacollab that's supposed to showcase the many creations of the community over the past year. The second one was so big that it had to be ''split into two parts!''

!! Project Arrhythmia contains examples of:

* BossBonanza: Some level creators have made "boss rush" levels consisting of many bosses, usually by different people, all sharing a spotlight.
* BossOnlyLevel: A majority of custom levels to the point where it has become the norm, including the ones in the level storylines, which the vast majority of said storylines only consisting of boss levels, a trend started by the level series Black Heart. Some level creators have ''only made boss levels''.
* BulletHell: You have to dodge bullets, beams, bombs, boss attacks, and the like. Some custom levels empathize bullet hell more than others.
* DownloadableContent: Custom levels are found and downloaded on the Steam Workshop.
* FanNickname: A popular one being "Hal" for Nano, coming from a misconception that the "Hal" that A-tan refers to on the post-level screen is, in fact, Nano. WordOfGod has requested fans not use this name for Nano though, despite a fair amount of fans and custom levels still referring to Nano as "Hal".
* GuideDangIt: What some people new to the level editor experience upon opening it, despite later versions of the game including resources to get started on level making.
* KillerApp: Black Heart can be seen as this.
* LevelEditor: There is a "robust level editor" included in the game that people can use to make levels.
* LoadsAndLoadsOfCharacters: Inevitable when a popular attraction for the game is making boss levels with characters.
* {{Mascot}}: Pam for PA: Memories [2], and N-chan for the level editor.
* {{Nanomachines}}: Well... Nano, and the rest of the nanobots.
* NoPlotNoProblem: There is currently no story mode since the game is still in early access, but one is in the works. Averted with the custom level storylines.
* YearX: The game's story takes place in 205X.
