In the present, Trick is completely oblivious to the hatred.

to:

In the present, Trick is not completely oblivious to the hatred.hatred, but comes across as less discouraged by it than Treat. Like Mochi, Trick is an AllLovingHero whose thoughts are not shaken up by society and while not explicitly trying to challenge the norm like the former, they still make an effort to be nice to everyone, no matter what. A NiceGuy like Myrrh raising Trick is what shaped them to be this way.

Unlike most characters, Trick was raised by a human in a cabin in the mountains.

Unlike most characters, Trick was raised by a human in a cabin in the mountains.mountains which would lead to a well-adjusted, albeit slightly naive person. As seen in one flashback in Chapter 4, Trick doesn't understand why Treat's pack uses transportable houses until it's explained to them.

In the present, Trick is completely oblivious to the hatred.

Having already being raised with ridiculously high standards thanks to her AbusiveMom, Moxie is the one who embraces the terrible reputation her kind has. She finds delight in scaring the rabbits because it gives her a feeling of power and boosts her hidden weak self-esteem.

Parallels can also be made between Moxie and her mom in this mentality: Both of them decide to live up the views on predators. Deep down however, Moxie is not her mom; she might seem like a jerk at first, but she has a heart of gold, rendering her a HarmlessVillain.

* Muzan Kibutsuji is responsible for the creation of all demonkind after a doctor's treatment for his terminal illness went wrong. Muzan cares for no one but himself and is purely motivated by self-preservation and the desire to one day be able to walk in the sun. He not only has no qualms with killing innocent people, including being responsible for the deaths of most of Tanjiro's family and turning Nezuko in a demon, but views his followers as tools, and kills most of the Lower Ranks of the Twelve Kizuki because he doesn't think they're strong enough.
* While not as bad as Muzan, it's clear that Hantengu has no redeeming qualities and was a terrible person as a human. Tanjiro doesn't have any sympathy for him whatsoever and cuts him down without hesitation. He's especially despicable as he winces and cries about being "bullied" when he's attacked. Never mind that Hantengu, as a human being, was a recognized thief and killer, and has also eaten hundreds of people as a demon.
* Apart from being a bit humorous due to his hamminess and goofy laugh, Gyokko is a repulsive character in terms of appearance and personality, with basically no redeeming qualities. Not helped by the fact he is given no backstory and is killed unceremoniously. Even with his backstory, there is nothing to sympathize with, as in life he was a borderline necrophilic, animal abuser and child murderer.
* Even before he became a demon, Kaigaku was a mean-spirited, self-glorified bully who only earns ire in the eyes of everyone he meets, especially after selling out a fellow group of orphans because he couldn't stand the idea of being caught. Unlike most demons shown, he chose to become one solely because he didn't want to die, and he's a spiteful jackass who'll go as far as to mock his former master and fellow students for being weaker than him.
* Of all the Lower Ranks, Enmu is purely depicted as a sociopathic demon who takes pleasure in the suffering of others without a lick of remorse, much like his master Muzan. In his backstory, he was even like this as a human.
* The Swamp Demon is one of the few demons in the series that neither receives sympathy nor has a tragic backstory to boot. He captures 16-year-old girls just for the purpose of eating them and has stated that they should be thankful for being killed off before old age.
* The Slasher is able to gain hate for good reasons. The demon enjoys torturing victims with certain blood types that he views as not worthy of devouring; instead, he would leave behind their dead bodies to cause more chaos among civilians. In fact, it causes a huge panic in the village and causes most small businesses and civilians to be afraid to go out at night. The demon also has no standards since he enjoys tormenting his victims no matter their age as he even uses the young worker Tatsu as a human shield against Rengoku in their first meeting while taunting Rengoku by claiming he wouldn't kill the demon without injuring the boy. Worst of all, the Slasher gloats about how he tortured the innocent woman from the previous night, and after being informed by Rengoku that the woman did survive and is sent into hiding, he decides to challenge the Hashira by targeting the bento vendors to piss off the guy and test his heroics.
* The demon in Muichiro's backstory is the main source of his memory loss in the first place. To the point, the demon continued to taunt two terrified Tokito sibling into a corner and claimed their lives were worthless and had no value.

* The demon in Muichiro’s backstory is the main source of his memory loss in the first place. To the point, the demon continued to taunt two terrified Tokito sibling into a corner and claimed their lives were worthless and had no value.
* the snake demon manages to be one of the most despicable demons in the entire series, mainly for what she did to Obanai during his youth and being one of the few demons to eat children, let alone, ''BABIES''.
* The Spider "Daughter" was shown to be a DirtyCoward who also took a lot of pleasure in hurting a lot of people, despite her claims of simply obeying Rui's orders. The anime further fuels the hatred towards her, since she would betray the "Elder Sister", who offer to help her escape Rui's "family", showing that she's willing to screw anyone over just for her own survival.
