Her father is a member of the Dreaming Dark from a very prestigious clan of influential manipulators who have sought out powerful people to further their own bloodline while hunting down Kalashtar to dispatch. His own bonded Quori spirit is selfish and aggressive and causes him to often act in that same way. Kore does not know a great deal about this, so though she is of his bloodline, she has suffered little from his plots.
