Due to a horrible blunder Homura made, Valkyrie was seemingly executed on Planet Oedo two years earlier than she would have in the original world. Fortunately, she was secretly repaired by Seiji Hojo, and happily reunites with her student and crew on Sun Jewel.

Shiki uses this as an angle for getting him to evacuate Guilst from the Chronophage's oncoming attack, since it shows Drakken cares just enough about people's lives to not want to lose them.
