'''[[WesternAnimation/WreckItRalph Sugar Rush]], Seat of [[LevelAte Food-based Worlds]]'''
[[quoteright:350:https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ralphsugarrushrl.jpg]]
[[caption-width-right:350:([[Pantheon/{{Ambiguity}} Ralph]] overlooking the dominion from a candy-cane tree)]]
* A region where the majority of the landscape and structures consists seemingly of confectionery.
* Symbol: A Sugar Rush arcade console
* Portfolio: WackyRacing, [[LevelAte literally]] TastesLikeDiabetes, [[UltraSuperHappyCuteBabyFestFarmer3000 unrealistic cutesy saturated visuals]], a SugarBowl {{Expy}} [[MascotRacer of]] VideoGame/MarioKart
* Domains: Sweets, Food, Racing
* Sister regions: Rainbow Road, [[VideoGame/MarioKart8 Sweet Sweet Canyon]]
* Governor: Currently under dispute.
** Vanellope was the former governor until [[spoiler:she left on her own accord. ]]
* Sacred to: Its inhabitants: the Sugar Rush racers and their fans, as well as the various individuals who maintain the facilities within
* Unholy to: [[Pantheon/SingersAndPerformers Ashley]], [[Pantheon/{{Locations}} Gertrude]]
* Barred from entry: [[Pantheon/{{Gaming}} Pac-Man]] (formerly), [[Pantheon/{{Food}} Kirby]], [[Pantheon/{{Sizes}} Kero]] - pretty much any god with a BigEater or SweetTooth attitude; as well as [[Pantheon/{{Logic}} King Candy]].
* Vanellope von Schweetz's game which ascended when she took her place as Goddess of [[AscendedGlitch Ascended Glitches]].
* As soon as one enters this domain coming from the rainbow bridge, their first sight is the vast sweet-based landscape that extends to as far as the eye can see. Most of the "foliage" is made out of candy, the "seas" are made out of taffy and/or chocolate milk and the like, and even the buildings feature elements seemingly made out of confectionery. Its landscape varies from the thickets of its candy cane forest to the snow-covered peaks in its mountains. The majority of its population (mostly humanoid anthropomorphic candies) is concentrated in a central town which this rainbow path seemingly leads into. Landmarks like the Castle and Diet Cola Mountain decorate the horizon. The Racecourse is very visible from the high point of the road of entry.
* Sugar Rush is a place where the inhabitants race to determine the roster for playing every single day. Vanellope, [[spoiler: who had been forcefully DummiedOut by Turbo Racer/King Candy]] wished to race but couldn't. Ralph found this place and, after an event that nearly caused Sugar Rush to be destroyed, helped Vanellope finish the race [[spoiler: and restore Sugar Rush to its proper glory.]]
* This domain can be substituted for certain Mario Kart courses following approval via unanimous vote by an ongoing race's participants.
** Examples:
*** Its snowy region can substitute for [[VideoGame/MarioKart64 Frappe Snowland]].
*** Its central plaza can substitute for [[VideoGame/MarioKart8 Sweet-Sweet Canyon]].
*** The cavernous section with a rainbow-colored track can fill in for various settings, including [[VideoGame/SuperMarioKart Rainbow Road]].
* Some of the frequent visitors to this domain include [[Pantheon/{{Ambiguity}} Wreck-It Ralph]], as well as [[Pantheon/{{Gaming}} Mario]] and other deities with a notable MascotRacer game. [[Pantheon/TechnologicExperts Fix-It Felix]] and [[Pantheon/SoldiersAndWarriors Sergeant Calhoun]] have been logging more frequent visits recently.
* Due to the Cy-Bug incident, Vanellope has asked that many of the BigEater gods (Pac-Man, Kirby, Kero, etc.) stay ''far, far away'' from Sugar Rush.
** Following [[spoiler:Vanellope's absence]], the other racers have agreed to restart negotiations to all the SweetTooth BigEater deities to rescind this ban. They agreed to immediately talk with [[Pantheon/{{Gaming}} Pac-Man]] as they noticed he had a [[VideoGame/PacManWorldRally a kart-racing game of his own]], and was even featured in the arcade installments of [[VideoGame/MarioKart Mario's own grand prix]]. So far, the racers do not mind him coming over to race, though they will keep a sharp eye on him. Talks with the others are to be resumed once the succession crisis is resolved.
* Likewise, recorded usurpers are also prohibited entry since the same incident was directly related to [[Pantheon/{{Logic}} King Candy]]. The Racers agree to never rescind this ban, even as a new ruler takes hold. Any individual identified as such will be unconditionally ejected.
* Its residents have a ''huge'' watch on [[Pantheon/SingersAndPerformers Ashley]], since she, aside from being despising sweets, is outright willing to utilize her powers to damage, if not destroy, Sugar Rush.
* Its traditional monarchy was abolished by Vanellope in favor of a democracy with her as the initial leader and the racers acting as a parliamentary body. Unfortunately, following [[spoiler:her absence into a new game]], a power vacuum has emerged. During this crisis, expect heightened security upon attempting to visit.
** As a result, the racers are debating upon the best means to elect their governor. Some of the more skilled ones propose [[TrialByCombat settling this dispute via a race tournament]], but likewise, the underdogs would claim they would be left out.
** The racers have also unanimously agreed to restrict nominations to Sugar Rush's endemic population.

* Domain: Kart racing, kart racing, and [[RuleOfThree kart racing]].
* Allies: '''[[Pantheon/HardwareAndSoftware Vanellope Von Schweetz]]''' (in general).
** Taffyta's: Any and all [[AlphaBitch Alpha Bitches]], especially [[Pantheon/{{Emotion}} Disgust]]. The fact that they share a voice actor helps quite a deal.
* Enemies: [[Pantheon/{{Food}} Kirby]] and co, [[Pantheon/{{Food}} Kero]]
* Opposes: '''[[Pantheon/{{Logic}} King Candy]],''' [[Pantheon/{{Pride}} Ar-Pharazon]], any and all usurpers
* Ambiguous relationship with: [[Pantheon/{{Gaming}} Mario, Sonic, Pac-Man]], and their respective friends; [[Pantheon/{{Ambiguity}} Wreck-It Ralph]] and [[Pantheon/{{Philosophy}} Wonder Woman]] in general
* Elected representative(s): A triumvirate consisting of Taffyta Muttonfudge, Rancis Fluggerbutter, and [[OddNameOut Candlehead]]. [[spoiler:Formerly held by the singular president [[Pantheon/HardwareAndSoftware Vanellope von Schweetz]]]]
* This group of deities are primarily lead by a triumvirate consisting of Taffyta, Rancis, and Candlehead. The rest of them have power to represent should one be unable to rule. Their line of succession is not fixed.
* Only their elected representatives agreed to reveal their names to the Pantheon. The others have not agreed such.
* [[AllInTheManual Via their official bios]], the Pantheon could only muster this much regarding their individual personalities. (Each line represents one character)
** AlphaBitch
** TheDitz
** {{Narcissist}}
** TheTrickster
** HotBlooded
** The rest are unknown.
* Despite being characters from a FictionalVideoGame, they were ascended in favor of Mario, Sonic, Pac-Man, and their respective co (and other game series with notable MascotRacer games), due to the latter three having their own main series which isn't a kart-racing game. Their thoughts on this are unknown.
** They seem to bounce between liking their MascotRacer co and scoffing at them on occasion.
* Welcomed by [[Pantheon/HardwareAndSoftware Vanellope Von Schweetz]] on ascension. [[spoiler:She, however, disappeared recently, and encounters between her and the rest of the group have recently diminished.]]
** On the other hand, their thoughts on [[Pantheon/{{Ambiguity}} Wreck-It Ralph]] are not fixated on a particular side.
* [[Pantheon/HardwareAndSoftware Vanellope Von Schweetz]] is not counted among their ranks for the purposes of the Pantheon tally.
* In total, there are 14 in their numbers, not counting Vanellope. Some of them are PaletteSwaps of other racers.
** A rumor exists that there could be another within their ranks, stating that she is only available in certain versions. The racers deny of such a person.
* Taffyta has petitioned several times that she get in on the House of Personality, whether it be as the God of [[AlphaBitch Alpha Bitches]] or as the high priestess to said god. It never came past. Naturally, she was distraught.
* Not understanding an agreement that Vanellope had, the group shun [[Pantheon/{{Emotion}} Pinkie Pie]]. And they take it very seriously since ascension.
* Them shunning [[Pantheon/{{Food}} Kirby and Kero]] is more understandable, as by order of the President, they are banned from Sugar Rush. Pending negotiations to rescind their ban have started following [[spoiler:Vanellope's absence]].
* Measures have been implemented to ensure no usurpers set foot in Sugar Rush. By extension, King Candy and Ar-Pharazon are banned on the spot.
* They do not know what to make of Wonder Woman, since they [[Creator/GalGadot suspect]] that she is responsible for [[spoiler:Vanellope's absence]].

The orb on its chest, which is hard on
the Nowhere Islands, the Masked Man was one outside, seems to be some sort of a series of biological experiments performed by the Pigmask Army called "The Chimera Project." The Pigmasks gland which secretes an unknown substance. Most trainers were able to teach Phione to formulate this substance at will, and have recovered this subject unconscious (he was left for dead after a dangerous fight with another fellow Chimera). Allegedly, he was taken in after witnessing that he could it expel the result forcefully out of its mouth. Through this, it can produce techniques such as various Ice type moves (e.g. Icy Wind, Blizzard, and especially Ice Beam. This same property also grants it the ability to utilize certain psychic powers that could further their mission. As Signal Beam, which no Phione in the wild can use naturally.

Also similar to Manaphy is the speices' relative indifference in its battle statistics. Perhaps as

species' rarity.

Similar to Manaphy is the innate ability for Phione to remember its birthplace and travel back to it regardless of how far it
has embarked drifted.

!! Diet
Its soft body and relatively light stature suggests that Phione feed almost exclusively
on microorganisms floating along the sea.

!! Hazards

Since Phione are generally docile, there is generally little hazard from raising one. However, these creatures are easily provoked, though they often decide to flee at the first sign of trouble rather than actually fight. There is
a QuestForIdentity in an documented instance of a Gyarados attacking a Phione pack allegedly for the Phione dew, but another group of Pokemon managed to ward it off. Some Phione attempt to try use their charming appearance to fully reconcile his old self with his augmented self. He turns to [[Pantheon/LifeAndCreation Dust]] to help him out, as well as the House of Ambiguity. In a way, Masked Man's own quest draws parallels to Dust's.

However, compared to Manaphy, it is considerably hardier and easier to adapt to life outside the ocean. This is again theorized by the species being better adapted to warmer climates than its relative.

!! Courting and Childrearing
The Masked Man shows pity to Fuse's case. Given the circumstances species as a whole is genderless. Breeding between Dust two Phione has not been observed in the wild, and Fuse's fight, he is worried the only documented instances of Phione reproduction in captivity were achieved by breeding a Phione with Ditto. Some researchers theorize that in his case, should he encounter someone who knows his past, he or she Phione may actively lash out against him much as how Fuse did instead be hermaphroditic and able to Dust. The Masked Man notes freely shift between the two genders in the wild.
For some reason, breeding Manaphy with Ditto will also produce Phione offspring rather than Manaphy. Some researchers claim
that this is an inversion instead due to Manaphy being adapted toward colder, more polar seas while Phione prefer tropical environments.

!! Social Structure
Phione are known to be highly social, though they tend to congregate in small groups rarely numbering over the single digits. The average size of a Phione pack is
between Dust three to six, with rare instances of nine members in a pack.

!!In Human Society
Among seafaring cultures, Phione is held in high regard. Most notably, given its rarity, many legends state that anyone who spots a Phione in the wild would receive good fortune. Other legends place Phione as the maker of the Phione dew, a very valuable

Unlike other Pokemon, trainers should be careful while handling Manaphy in its egg. Even in this stage, Manaphy's abilities, though latent, can activate on instinct. It can use its mythical Heart Swap power in this stage and even communicate to anyone who happens to be holding it via telepathy.

!Phione

!! Morphs [Oak Catalog #]

* Phione [489]

!!Physical Description
A Pokemon with blue membrane-like skin, a round head and tiny body. On the crown of its head is a floatation sac, from which projects a long, ribbonlike antenna. Its eyes feature blue sclera and gray irises, and noticeably, two blue circular markings connect to one eye each via a thin black line.

Its hands have rounded ends with no fingers or similar appendages extending from them. Its "foot" consists of a singular spike-like projection extending from the body. On its chest is a red gemlike orb structure.

A genetic mutation causes the outer skin to be teal instead of blue, and the orb on its chest to be gold instead of red.

!! Notable Biology

Most of the following traits are shared with Phione's near relative, Manaphy.

Phione features an innate ability to use its mouth to form structures out of water, most notably bubbles and water vortices. It can either do so upon ingesting a significant quantity of water, or through secretions from glands located near its palate. Its relatively small larynx has the ability to emit high frequency sound waves indiscernable to the human ear. In addition, at will, Phione can also liquify its body, which it commonly does as a defensive response. Usage of this technique has also allowed Phione to escape through drainholes.

The orb on its chest, which is hard on the outside, seems to be some sort of gland which secretes an unknown substance. Most trainers were able to teach Phione to formulate this substance at will, and have it expel the result forcefully out of its mouth. Through this, it can produce techniques such as various Ice type moves (e.g. Icy Wind, Blizzard, and especially Ice Beam. This same property also grants it the ability to utilize Signal Beam, which no Phione in the wild can use naturally.

Also similar to Manaphy is the speices' relative indifference in its battle statistics. Perhaps as a side effect to adapting to tropical climates or due to its relative docility, Phione does not seem to be as proficient in battle compared to its polar neighbor.

Phione exhibit a property where they utilize water to cure themselves. Though they cannot heal direct wounds, lacerations, and the like, their bodies actively react upon contact with water to heal Phione of conditions like poison and paralysis. Rainwater is the best catalyst to induce this reaction. All Phione possess this characteristic.

!! Habitat
Phione tend to thrive in warm, tropical seas closer to the Equator, unlike its near relative Manaphy. Frequently, they seek warm currents and drift alongside them. Because of this, their distribution is never localized, contributing to the species' rarity.

Similar to Manaphy is the innate ability for Phione to remember its birthplace and travel back to it regardless of how far it has drifted.

!! Diet
Its soft body and relatively light stature suggests that Phione feed almost exclusively on microorganisms floating along the sea.

!! Hazards

Since Phione are generally docile, there is generally little hazard from raising one. However, these creatures are easily provoked, though they often decide to flee at the first sign of trouble rather than actually fight. There is a documented instance of a Gyarados attacking a Phione pack allegedly for the Phione dew, but another group of Pokemon managed to ward it off. Some Phione attempt to use their charming appearance to lull in other Pokemon and lower their guard, but most Phione would rarely resort to attacking directly as a first option.

It is advised that trainers who are raising young Phione ensure that they have adequate water to ensure they stay damp. Like Manaphy, it can adapt after a while to life outside of water. However, compared to Manaphy, it is considerably hardier and easier to adapt to life outside the ocean. This is again theorized by the species being better adapted to warmer climates than its relative.

!! Courting and Childrearing
The species as a whole is genderless. Breeding between two Phione has not been observed in the wild, and the only documented instances of Phione reproduction in captivity were achieved by breeding a Phione with Ditto. Some researchers theorize that Phione may instead be hermaphroditic and able to freely shift between the two genders in the wild.
For some reason, breeding Manaphy with Ditto will also produce Phione offspring rather than Manaphy. Some researchers claim that this is instead due to Manaphy being adapted toward colder, more polar seas while Phione prefer tropical environments.

!! Social Structure
Phione are known to be highly social, though they tend to congregate in small groups rarely numbering over the single digits. The average size of a Phione pack is between three to six, with rare instances of nine members in a pack.

!!In Human Society
Among seafaring cultures, Phione is held in high regard. Most notably, given its rarity, many legends state that anyone who spots a Phione in the wild would receive good fortune. Other legends place Phione as the maker of the Phione dew, a very valuable and not replicable substance which is said to cure any medical ailment of any lifeform it is administered to. Some theorists believe that the [=SecretPotion=] of Cianwood City (the formula of which is a heavily guarded trade secret) utilizes a portion of this substance as its active ingredient.

Few individuals have been able to consistently harvest this Phione Dew for their own use. The select few who have access to this mythical substance do so under a vow of secrecy. They each maintain their own good affinities with a Phione pack that would consistently migrate into the area, usually as a result of warding off a direct threat to said pack.

!Manaphy

!!Morphs [Oak Catalog #]

* Manaphy [490]

!!Physical Description

A Pokemon with a similar appearance to Phione, in that it has blue skin, and has a large head and a tiny body with two fingerless hands with rounded ends. Unlike Phione, the floatation sac and accompanying ribbon antenna on its crown is absent, and is instead replaced by two long tendrils with small spheres on the end. Instead of the singular blue circular markings which extend from both of Phione's eyes, Manaphy has four yellow markings, two of which extend from each eye.

Instead of Phione's rudimentary foot, Manaphy has two more developed and distinct feet. These are toeless like its hands.

It has a similar red orb on its chest like Phione. It also can possess the same genetic mutation that gives Phione teal skin.

!!Notable Biology

Most of the following traits are shared with Manaphy's near relative, Phione.

Manaphy features much of the same internal structure as Phione, being able to morph water into structures that possess destructive power. It can spit bubbles instinctively from birth, but can eventually gain the ability to form water vortices from its breath.

Due to its similarity to Phione, in captivity Manaphy can be taught utilize various Ice techniques like Blizzard, Ice Beam, and Icy Wind. Also thanks to its similarity to Phione, it can utilize the Bug type technique Signal Beam.

A unique ability among Manaphy is a technique dubbed "Heart Swap." There are accounts through myth where Manaphy can swap the bodies of individuals near its presence for a temporary period of time. In battle, this translates to swapping the effects of stat changes.

Like Phione, Manaphy exhibit a property where they utilize water to cure themselves. The limitations that affect Phione also impact Manaphy to the same degree. This physical property is the direct result of its dependence on water for it to properly grow. All known Manaphy possess this characteristic.

!! Habitat
Based on where Manaphy eggs were discovered, Manaphy grow up in cold seas close to the poles. They spend a considerable amount of time in these polar seas before being carried away by the currents.

A mature Manaphy, after spending several years in the open ocean, will eventually migrate back to its birthplace.

!! Diet
Feeds almost exclusively on microorganisms in the sea.

!! Hazards
Manaphy are docile creatures and will not readily attack humans if provoked. However, because of its strong relationship with the Pokemon roaming the seas of its homeland, these guardian Pokemon will attack any passers by on the first sign of distress.

For trainers who manage to obtain a Manaphy, caring for it is no easy task. It needs a steady supply of cold water to match the habitat of its birthplace, and is relatively unable to adapt to any other environment at a very young age. Due to this Pokemon's volatile nature, any Manaphy that does not reside in its rightful environment will most likely contract a severe illness related to it not being in the polar sea. There are few solutions to curing this illness. One of these is the mythical Phione dew.

!! Courting and Childrearing
Other than what is known about documented instances of Manaphy eggs, nothing is known about this Pokemon's reproduction. Every Manaphy egg documented was found alone with Pokemon of other species surrounding it.

Attempts to breed and hatch Manaphy in captivity have ended in failure. Breeding Manaphy with Ditto will result in producing Phione, a near relative to Manaphy in taxology.

!! Social Structure
No known instances of this Pokemon have been observed with others of its kind. Many people believe that the Pokemon is instead one of a kind. Despite this, Manaphy is known to be extremely social and maintains amicable relationships with the Pokemon of its homeland. In fact, given that Manaphy are seldom observed with any biological relatives, a good portion of these Pokemon act as a quasi-parental figure to Manaphy. Manaphy have been known to be raised among Pokemon like Walrein thanks to their hardiness to cold weather.

!!In Human Society
Manaphy are considered critically endangered due to its rarity and the inability to breed it in captivity. Many poacher groups have attempted to capture any instance of this Pokemon even while it is in its Egg. Only a handful of Trainers have legally obtained a Manaphy to train.

"The Guardian of the Sea," "The Prince of the Sea," and "The Wandering Caretaker" are among many names which sea-bound cultures give this Pokemon. Ancient records indicate that the present term "Manaphy" is an English transilteration of a term for a vagabond in the language of an extinct culture that used to live on Sinnoh long before colonists from Kanto and Johto arrived on its lands.

The last bastion of this culture currently resides in Almia, located on the southwest of the same island where Sinnoh is located. This land has historically been part of their distribution before colonization. This culture, known as "the People of the Water," holds firm to a tradition where one of its able-bodied members maintains a solemn nightly vigil over the waters where Manaphy resides. Newly appointed Watchers, as they are called, are obliged to fulfill this duty on the nightfall that directly follows their appointment. A submerged temple provides the direction where these vigilantes face throughout the night.

The modern day song "A Thing to Protect," itself about Manaphy, was based upon a traditional melody sung by the People of the Water. Common lyrical settings of this tune included a lullaby and a parting tune, the latter of which provided the basis for the modern tune.

A Pokemon with blue membrane-like skin, a round head and tiny body. On the crown of its head is a floatation sac, from which projects a long, ribbonlike antenna. Its eyes feature blue sclera and gray irises, and noticeably, two blue circular markings connect to it via a thin black line.

* Phione [489]

!!Physical Description
''???''

!! Notable Biology
Similar to Manaphy is the innate ability for Phione to remember its birthplace and travel back to it regardless of how far it has drifted.

!! Habitat
Phione tend to thrive in warm, tropical seas closer to the Equator, unlike its near relative Manaphy. Frequently, they seek warm currents and drift alongside them. Because of this, their distribution is never localized, contributing to the species' rarity.

It is advised that trainers who are raising young Phione ensure that they have adequate water to ensure they stay damp. Like Manaphy, it can adapt after a while to life outside of water. However, compared to Manaphy, it

!! Courting and Childrearing
Despite the species as a whole being genderless, it is possible for two Phione to mate and produce viable Phione offspring. It is theorized that the species may instead be hermaphroditic.
For some reason, breeding Manaphy with Ditto will also produce Phione offspring rather than Manaphy. Some researchers claim that this is instead due to Manaphy being adapted toward colder, more polar seas while Phione prefer tropical environments.

!! Social Structure
Phione are known to be highly social, though they tend to congregate in small groups rarely number over the single digits.

!!In Human Society
Among seafaring cultures, Phione is held in high regard as the maker of the cure-all Phione dew. This substance is itself very valuable and is not replicable. It is theorized that the SecretPotion of Cianwood City utilizes a portion of this substance as its active ingredient.

!! Habitat

Based on where Manaphy eggs were discovered, Manaphy grow up in cold seas close to the poles. They spend a considerable amount of time in these polar seas before being carried away by the currents.

!! Diet
Feeds largely on microorganisms in the sea.

!! Hazards
Manaphy are docile creatures and will not readily attack its trainer if provoked. However, because its body is highly volatile and not readily adaptive to habitat changes, a young Manaphy may contract a severe fever as a result.
