* {{Dojikko}}: Xanthe Chapel's clumsiness was a major character trait early on, but she's since [[{{TookALevelInBadass}} gotten better]].
** Just to make sure everyone gets that she's {{Adorkable}}, Jenica Sonsen will lapse into this from time to time as well.

* PowerPerversionPotential: Plenty, as always, with any Metamorphmagus. But [[FetishFuel Rule Thirty Six]] applies, and beware the dreaded ShapeshiftingSquick.

* TheRevolutionWillNotBeCivilized: In the {{Prequel}} FanFic, this applies heavily to the Muggle-born Revolt. They take scalps as trophies, use biological warfare and [[RevengeByProxy go after the family members of enemy collaborators]]. Jason even ''admits'' that he's worse than Voldemort, because being more {{Badass}} than the BigBad is [[HeWhoFightsMonsters the only way he can win]].

* AssholeVictim: The only thing that's kept Jason from crossing the MoralEventHorizon is that the people he's maiming, torturing and killing usually deserve it. Also, Ando Saeki's first kill was [[spoiler: Rita Skeeter]], who definitely had it coming. Doesn't make Ando any less of a CompleteMonster, but killing her was arguably a PetTheDog moment.

* BigDamnVillains: Tawnie has [[ThouShaltNotKill moral qualms]] about using deadly force against the [[ReligionOfEvil Brotherhood of the Light]]. Not to worry... she shares a psychic link with [[CompleteMonster Sasha Rookwood]], who has no problem whatsoever assuming control of Tawnie's mind and body and firing off a [[InstantDeathBullet Killing Curse]].

* DecapitationPresentation: Walter Zotermeer was elevated from QuirkyMinibossSquad member to CompleteMonster in large part due to the glee with which he showed off the severed head of Chief Auror [[spoiler: Gawain Robards]]. [[EvenEvilHasStandards A lot of his fellow Death Eaters seemed to be less than enthusiastic about it]].

* MurderersAreRapists: Usually averted, but not in the case of [[CompleteMonster Garrick Atterton]].

* WellIntentionedExtremist: Jason. Noah Howerton tries to pass himself off as this in order to [[{{VillainWithGoodPublicity}} get people to like him more]], but he's actually a CompleteMonster.
