The admins actually quit because a significant portion of the memberbase decided it'd be a great idea to deride and insult them behind their back, going so far to say they'd abandoned them and harassing the two admins in the middle of a cancer scare between them. The group of 5 that essentially ran the site (Clockwork, Nyx, Godiva, Bluberry and AntipathicZora) were bitter for a long time. Zora still is, as you might be able to tell.
