Justified in ''Doug'''s case, since Creator/{{Disney}} still holds the rights to do anything new with the show.

* IAteWhat: The "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1skQmpFPxqY Nicktoons Cafe]]" segment of the queue videos shows us the perspective of an unfortunate soul entering the restaurant and trying the food, which includes the "Rugrats Special" (a secret blend of baby food, mud, and boogers), "Spike's Favorite" (a toilet water chaser), and the Krabby Patty (which is said to be mostly made out of chum). Each time the customer learns of the ingredients, he spits the food out in horror and disgust.

* AsteroidThicket: A game at the ride's post-show involved players having to navigate a Nicktoon character through an asteroid field in order to save Goddard, who had been kidnapped by [[WesternAnimation/InvaderZim Zim]].

* EverythingsBetterWithLlamas: At the end, Carl, being obsessed with llamas as always, uses Cosmo's wand to continuously poof llamas into Jimmy's lab, to the point that it looks as if he's built up his own army.

* BalefulPolymorph: Ooblar is briefly turned into a Yolkian Elvis by Cosmo.

Based on ''WesternAnimation/TheAdventuresOfJimmyNeutronBoyGenius'' as well as other Creator/{{Nickelodeon}} properties of the time, the ride was set inside "Nicktoon Studios", where Jimmy Neutron, with assistance from Carl Wheezer and Goddard, is preparing to show off his latest rocket design, known as the "Mark IV". Things are suddenly interrupted when Ooblar breaks in and steals it, as well as revealing the plan he and King Goobot have formed: to duplicate it and create a massive army to conquer Earth. Jimmy Neutron quickly enlists the guests to help him in getting the rocket back. The rocket chase results in encounters with numerous Nicktoons, most notably including ''WesternAnimation/HeyArnold'', ''WesternAnimation/{{Rugrats}}'', ''WesternAnimation/TheFairlyOddParents'', and ''WesternAnimation/SpongebobSquarepants''.

* SpiritualSuccessor: To the attraction it replaced, ''Ride/TheFuntasticWorldOfHannaBarbera'', as it is virtually the same concept of animated characters crossing over with one another; just this time with characters from the newer generation.

* {{Mondegreen}}: Cosmo comically mishears what the two protagonists are saying, hearing "Help us!" as "Elvis", and "achin' head" as "bacon head".

* AdvertisedExtra: ''WesternAnimation/HeyArnold'' was one of the most played up aspects of the ride's marketing, even though the show's scene in the attraction was only about 10 seconds long.

* BigBad: King Goobot

* CanonWelding: All Nicktoons co-exist with one-another here, via soundstages.

* EvilGloating: Ooblar is quite confident and overly-excited about stealing the Mark IV, so much so that he happily explains the entire plan to the protagonists, along with showing that he had videotaped the entire moment where he and Goobot came up with the plan.

* OffscreenRebuilding: The broken down wall in Jimmy's lab gets patched up within four minutes, even though it was done by just hammering wood over it.

** Goddard noticeably does not do anything particularly helpful throughout the ride, at one point [[WouldHurtAChild attacking Angelica (a 3-year-old child) for no discernible reason]], and [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking apparently stealing Gerald's baseball]]. Jimmy is rather ineffectual as well, though at least he's actively chasing the bad guys. Ultimately is ''Carl'' of all people who proves to be the most useful, as he uses Cosmo's wand to beneficial effect numerous times.

* TheLoad: From the perspective of the ride's storyline, the guests are basically this, as they do nothing to help Jimmy whatsoever and only just repeatedly get into trouble.
