* Imhotep (c.2655-c.2600 BC), an {{ancient Egypt}}ian architect, engineer, and physician. He was the first practitioner of all three of those disciplines in recorded history and is therefore [[UrExample the earliest known]] polymath. He designed the very first pyramid,[[note]]A step pyramid. It still counts.[[/note]] which still stands today, almost 5,000 years later. He also appears to have been either the vizier to King Djoser or at least one of his top officials.
