Paul and Superboy meet Superman, who makes it clear that he is uncomfortable around Superboy and doesn't want to be involved with him. Paul approaches Wonder Woman for help, and she agrees to be more involved with Superboy.

The Team is then given a mission to escort the parts of a dangerous Amazo robot, defeated by the Justice League, to STAR Labs. Orange Lantern's involvement successfully protects one convoy, containing half the parts, but robotic monkeys are able to steal back the other half. The team pursues and destroys the partially-reconstructed Amazo, and Orange Lantern helps Kon to take down the villain responsible, Dr Ivo. Prompted by Ivo's criticism, Kon opens up to Orange Lantern about his feelings of inadequacy compared to Superman, and they share a hug.

!!! Short version

The Team defeats Professor Ivo's "Amazo" robot, with Paul's help making it faster and easier (and leading to Professor Ivo's capture).

!!! Longer version

Paul has dinner with Alan, Diana, and Donna Troy -- whom he didn't know about until that day, and who didn't know about him until the day before, and who is dubious about Diana taking on another mentee. She relaxes a bit after talking with him more and finding out that Diana is merely supervising and teaching him a bit, not anything that would suggest he's Donna's replacement, and tentatively agrees to help Superboy train.

The following day,
Paul and Superboy respond to a bridge collapse in Metropolis, and in the process meet Superman, who makes it clear that he is uncomfortable around Superboy and doesn't want to be involved with him. Paul approaches Wonder Woman for help, and she agrees to be more involved follow up with Superboy.

The Team is then given a mission to escort the parts of a dangerous PowerCopying Amazo robot, defeated by the Justice League, to STAR Labs. The team pursues and destroys the partially-reconstructed Amazo, and Orange Lantern helps Kon to take down the villain responsible, Dr Ivo. Prompted by Ivo's criticism, Kon opens up to Orange Lantern about his feelings of inadequacy compared to Superman, and they share a hug.
hug.

The Renegade takes a different approach in the conversation with Wonder Woman, sharply criticising her and the League for failing to examine Superboy's health closely enough to identify that one of his genetic parents is Lex Luthor, or check his mind for telepathically implanted compulsions.

Paul meets Wonder Woman's apprentice, Troia, at a barbecue, and invites her to spar with Superboy sometime. Although interested, she has limited time available due to her schooling. Based on Paul's close relationship with Superboy, she also gets the impression that he's gay.

A week later, Paul and Kon are at the scene of a bridge accident in Metropolis, and encounter Superman while helping out. After Superman brushes him off, Kon leaves in obvious frustration, and Paul visits Wonder Woman to ask for her help, since she knows Superman better. Kon shows up for combat training with Black Canary, albeit reluctantly, and when she insists on Paul keeping his ring on rather than fighting unarmed, he promptly pins her in constructs and dumps her on the mat, which cheers Kon up.
