** The glimpse of what's all but stated to be Iop Heaven is especially this since while there are numerous cloudy copies of swords seemingly representing deceased Iops, Dally's spirit and attention is drawn to first and foremost the giant stone sword at the highest point of the heavens, seemingly representing Iop himself, that he's traveling towards. .
* GloryHound: Rubilax kept all the other Shushu sealed because he wanted all the glory obtained by giving Rushu a way to invade the World of 12 as he always wanted.

* EstablishingCharacterMoment: This is Rushu's debut into the series, and the first scene is him resting on his throne drinking out of a SkullCup before he greets Rubilax with "Rubi the idiot", showing much more interest in Shadowfang currently imprisoned on his finger, and reacting to Rubilax's claims of having found out a new plan to invade the World of Twelve as asking if the "feeblest" of his minions has actually done so.

** Sadlygrove's recollection of his resurrection reveals he asked this to Rubilax now in his body when the Shushu starts to threaten him if he doesn't shut up, specifically why he's threatening to "kill him" when just saved him from death in the first place. Rubilax can only give a BigShutUp and avoid the question.

* DidYouJustFlipOffCthulhu: Dally insults Rushu through the mirror, calling him "fart face". Rubilax, driven to the breaking point by Rushu and Shadowfang's disrespect, punches the MagicMirror and breaks the connection with Rushu while calling him "fart face" too.

* EarlyBirdCameo: Rushu, as implied by the opening sequence, finally makes a brief appearence as the apparent BigBad of the season.

Evangelyne has finally reunited with Sadlygrove, but he's still stuck in his own sword. In order to release him, they'll have to confront Rubilax who, in the meanwhile, plans to make use of Yugo's portals for a devious scheme: open a gateway to the Shukrute and let Rushu, the King of Shushus, invade the World of 12. However, Rubilax's own actions are about to come around...

!!Tropes:

* ArmorPiercingQuestion: Rubilax is subjected to one when Rushu orders him to spell out if he, yes or no, saved the Iop's life.
* ArmorPiercingResponse: Ultimately, Rubilax is defeated and forced back into his prison when Eva simply points out that he cannot escape what he is:
-->Rubilax: "Oh yeah? So what am I?"
-->Evangelyne: "You're just a good guy who pretends to be the villain".
* BadBoss: Despite all that Rubilax accomplished, Rushu still considers him a wimpy servant and doesn't even shows a shiver of gratitude, ordering him to release Shadowfang and let her take over his plan. Backfires as it makes Rubilax so angry he breaks the mirror and ditches the entire plan.
* BerserkButton: Rushu sounds much more irritated when Sadlygrove carelessly insults him.
* CallBack:
** Ragnar from Vampyro reappears, and helps leading the former ghouls out of the crumbling Rubilaxia.
** Rubilax' stone golems reappears, though this time they're fashioned after Sadlygrove.
* CurbStompBattle: The reunited Brotherhood of Tofu vs the horde of stone Dally clones.
* DontYouDarePityMe: Rubilax is already enraged over Rushu's demeaning treatment, being pitied and considered a good guy by the heroes is the last straw.
* DudeWheresMyRespect: In the end, Rubilax' entire spiel, as he was considered the softest and wimpiest of Rushu's minions, and so his entire Rubilaxia plan was meant to show Rushu how much of a threat he could be... only to still be treated as a joke by Rushu, who actually suspects him of treason for saving Sadlygrove's life and not releasing his Shushu brothers from their prison when he had the chance.
* EarlyBirdCameo: Rushu, as implied by the opening sequence, finally makes a brief appearence as the apparent BigBad of the season.
* EvilLaugh: In the final shot of the episode, we see Shadowfang giggling ominously as she's recovered by a fisherman.
* EvilPlan: Rubilax plans to make use of Yugo's Eliatrope powers to open a passage to the Shukrute, so that Rushu and his minions can invade.
* Foreshadowing: The whole thing of using the Eliatrope Portals to let the Shushu invade comes up later during the season.
* GloryHound: Rubilax kept all the other Shushu sealed because he wanted all the glory obtained by giving Rushu a way to invade the World of 12 as he always wanted.
* Golem: Rubilax uses an army of stone Dally clones to man the inside of Rubilaxia. When he's sealed back in his sword, the clones become hostile and attack the heroes.
* HesBack: As promised by the title, Sadlygrove returns to his body and is ready to join his friends and Eva at last.
* HoistByHisOwnPetard:
** Rubilax' entire plan started from him taking over Sadlygrove's body, indirectly saving his life. When Rushu learns of this, he takes it as a proof that Rubilax has gone soft and orders him to let Shadowfang out so that she may lead the project in his place.
** Rushu's chance of invading the World of Twelve evaporates after he repeatedly demeans Rubilax and orders him to let his brothers work in his place.
* Jerkass: Not only Rushu treats Rubilax like crap, but Shadowfang cannot resist the urge to taunt him about how screwed he is after he insulted Rushu and broke the mirror. This leads to Rubilax throwing her away, de-ghoulifying everyone.
* LeaningOnTheFourthWall: During the elevator sequence, Ghoul!Amalia keeps her ThousandYardStare fixed on the camera.
* LoadBearingBoss: After Rubilax is defeated and put back into his sword, the entire Rubilaxia starts to slowly crumble and sink in the sea.
* MagicMirror: Igor is a Shushu Mirror with an accent which can allow people to see and speak with Rushu.
* SlouchOfVillainy: Rushu first appears slouched on his throne, noisily drinking magma from a skull, using a spine as a straw.
* Token Heroic Shushu: Ultimately what Rubilax is, much to his own chagrin. In fact, being considered this is enough to cause a brief VillainousBreakdown which puts him back into his prison.
* UncomfortableElevatorMoment: In order to reach the dungeon where Igor is, Rubilax, Yugo and his ghoul thralls ride an elevator. Complete with a brief discussion that doesn't last long and elevator music in the background.
* TheUnfavorite: Rushu has always considered Rubilax as the softest and weakest of his minions, which pushed him to strive to be recognized as a threat.
* UngratefulBastard: For the first time since the Chaos of Ogrest, Rushu has the chance to invade a now defenseless World of Twelve thanks to one of his minions. He still treat said minion like crap because he doesn't think he's evil enough. This leads to Rubilax rebelling and any semblance of a plan failing on the spot.
* VillainHasAPoint: Aside from his prejudice against Rubilax, Rushu wasn't wrong when he pointed out that some of his actions (such as saving his former jailer/master's life and refusing to let all the other Shushu's out) sounds too suspicious.
* VillainousRescue: By taking over Sadlygrove's body, Rubilax essentially saved his life, though he refuses to admit it when Sadlygrove points this out. Unfortunately for him, Rushu takes this act as a sign that Rubilax has gone soft.
