* DeusExMachina: It's noted that the Atlas won't be able to traverse realities, because it's not made of the trans-reality comet-ore like Voltron; but Voltron can't go up against Honerva's mech alone, either, since it's now the size of the Atlas after fusing with Lotor's Sincline mech. Cue the arrival of *eight* Balmera, which converge all their available Quintessence to now fuse the heroes into an [=Atlas/Voltron=] hybrid.

->'''Honerva''': If there is no place in this universe for me, there will be no universe at all!

Honerva succeeds in piercing the barrier between universes and leaves a defeated Voltron and Atlas behind. The crew plan to follow her, but are prevented by the fact that the Atlas is not made from the material that allows travel between universes and Voltron alone is nowhere near strong enough to fight her.

Suddenly, multiple balmera arrive and with their energy, Voltron and the Atlas are able to fuse into a much bigger Voltron and follow Honerva through multiple collapsing universes. Coran and the Alteans stay behind to try and seal the rift Honerva left behing using the collective Balmera energy focused through Oriande.

Along the way, Honerve defeats the new Voltron and leaves it and its crew stranded in a collapsing universe while she proceeds to her 'perfect' universe. There, she presents herself to the native Zarkon, who tragically lost his wife years before. He accepts that she is his wife and takes her to see their son, a young Lotor. However, after the initial surprise and joy at seeing her, Lotor quickly realizes that something is wrong with Honerva and declares that she isn't his mother. In a rage, Honerva declares her intention to destroy this universe as well just before Voltron arrives and the final battle begins.
