She's benevolent enough that in the end she gives Maggie her plans for medieval technology as well as food in exchange for just the vinyl records as oppose to the three crates of food she wanted to trade for information after seeing the state of the Hilltop.

* CanonForeigner: Georgie, Hilda and Midge do not appear, at present, to be anyone from the comics.
* TheChainsOfCommand: Maggie seriously considers taking Georgie's supplies by force in order to feed the Hilltop as their reserves are running low. She doesn't like it one bit, but she admits she may have to because her people are starving.

* IdiotBall: Rick when he hunts Negan. While he's proven to be really competent, in this episode he makes some really poor choices, presumably out of his grief and rage:
** Acting as a lookout with Daryl for Hilltop he decides for them to split up to cover more ground instead of sticking together.
** When spotting the Saviors convoy heading to Hilltop rather than warn Daryl and the others that they're coming he decides to go after Negan by himself.
** He finally has Negan cornered after causing his car to crash (although at the cost of his own car) but instead of trying to quietly flank to his position, he fires his assault rifle at him not only missing him and wasting bullets but this alerts both Negan and nearby walkers to his position. This leads to Negan fleeing into a nearby building.
** Rick chases after Negan while firing at him only to run out of bullets. He reloads his assault rifle only to discard it for some reason. He then not only misses several shots with his revolver but ends up running out of bullets. He is then forced to use his hatchet as a last resort.

That he missed doesn't make him stupid. And in the second case, he missed because Negan let go

** Rick chases after Negan while firing at him only to run out of bullets. He reloads his assault rifle only to discard it for some reason. He then not only misses several shots with his revolver but ends up running out of bullets. He is then forced to use his hatchet as a last resort. Rick tosses the hatchet at Negan, which not only misses, but when Rick has Negan at his mercy when the latter dangles off a staircase, his hatchet swing misses.

** Rick chases after Negan while firing at him only to run out of bullets. He reloads his assault rifle only to stupidly discard it for some reason. He then not only misses several shots with his revolver but ends up running out of bullets. He is then forced to use his hatchet as a last resort. It's not even shown if he acquires his rifle at the end of the episode.
** After a while Rick finds Lucille who Negan lost earlier and lights it on fire. Negan pissed tackles him into a room filled with walkers. You expect Rick to finish Negan right then and there but instead while he does get a few hits in him he ultimately misses his chance although this is somewhat justified due to them being in a room with walkers. As a result Negan escapes with Lucille.

* OOCIsSeriousBusiness: While Negan has been in dangerous situations before, he's more visibly distressed during this episode knowing that Rick is hunting him with a vengeance. He even offers Rick a better tribute deal (at the cost of Rick becoming his new janitor, anyway), and sounds positively vulnerable when he demands Rick leave Lucille alone.
* PetTheDog: Desperate, Negan offers Rick a new deal in which AHK falls back under his control, but Negan will lower his order to taking a quarter of the slave states' supplies as opposed to half.
