As Lisa looks through the book, Burns' vampire minions arise and advance on the two. Bart tries to warn Lisa but she doesn't notice until a vampire claws at the book. Bart and she run up the staircase but Bart stops when he sees a lever for a "Super Happy Fun Slide". Knowing its a trap but reasoning "when am I gonna be here again?", Bart pulls it and slides back down into the lair, enjoying the ride until he sees the vampires. An undead woman grabs him and pins him to the floor as the rest of the vampires crowd around him. Burns suddenly appears in the lair via a bat form until changing to his human one. The vampire woman presents Bart to Burns who, while forgetful of his name, bares his fangs and goes to feed on him. Bart screams as he unwittingly exposes his neck.

The family head back to Burns' castles and head down to his lair where they find his coffin. Homer opens it and goes to drive a stake in his heart (though not before accidentally hitting his crotch). Burns' dies and all seems well (though he revives long enough to fire Homer). The next morning, things seems back to normal. Until Grandpa floats in, claiming himself a vampire. The rest of the family reveal to the shocked Lisa they're all vampires and that Burns' wasn't the head one, ''Marge'' is. The undead family bare their fangs to attack Lisa....before turning to audience and wishing everyone a Happy Halloween. Ending the episode in a spoof the ending from ''ACharlieBrownChristmas''.

Homer dreams of dounts while doing his rounds at his job. He awakens to try to eat donuts for real but finds that Carl and Lenny had already eaten all of them. Desperate, Homer claims he'll sell his soul for a donut which at that instant, the devil, who surprisingly is Flanders (or at least taking his form) appears and offers to give him one. Homer signs a contract and is given a donut. But before he finishes he realizes that as long as he doesn't eat the last piece, the contract is voided. The devil vows Homer will go to Hell sooner or later before disappearing. Homer pockets the donut thinking he's outwitted him.

That night, a half-asleep Homer goes to grab a midnight snack and thoughtlessly eats the last piece of the donut. Right on cue the Devil appears and starts to suck him into Hell. The family awaken from the commotion with Lisa begging the Devil for a fair trial, which he grudgingly accepts but demands that Homer spend a day in Hell. Down below, Homer finds himself chopped into pieces and given an ironic punishment by being force-fed donuts though manages to eat the whole supply to the torture technician demon's confusion.

Meanwhile the family has hired Lionel Hutz to represent them in the trial. Midnight comes and the Devil along with the Grim Reaper as a judge appears along with Homer bound in a fire cage. The Devil and Hutz barter on specific terms before the trial begin: Hutz for bathroom break, the Devil on his pick of the jury (which Hutz stupidly agrees to). The Devil picks some of the worst people from history: Benedict Arnold, Lizzy Borden, Richard Nixon (still alive at the time), John Wilkes Booth, Blackbeard the Pirate, John Dillinger, and the 1976 Philadelphia Flyers. The trial doesn't go well as the Devil offers proof of his deal and Hutz only worsening matters by stating how unbreakable the contract is before excusing himself to go to the bathroom and fleeing out the window.

Just as it looks that Homer will be condemned to Hell, Marge comes in with a photo album and shows everyone their wedding photo (which was in an emergency room as Homer ate the wedding cake...before the wedding). On the back of the photo is a declaration Homer made pledging his soul to Marge. The convinces the jury that Homer's soul belongs to her winning The Simpsons the case. Homer is freed but the Devil, sore at being cheated out of a soul, turns Homer's head into a donut. The next day Homer eat most of his donut shaped head until stopped by Marge. He goes to head off to work though stopped by Lisa. The reason: most of the cops are waiting outside with coffee cups.

This story also begins with a dream, or rather, a nightmare as Bart dreams of his school bus losing control and being run over by a semi-truck. He awakens though still a little shaken by it (not helped with Homer blowing a blow-horn in his ears). As Lisa and he head for the school bus in the rainy weather, Bart finds that Skinner is also onboard as punishment from his mother. Halfway into the bus ride, they pick up Willie who had gotten stranded after killing his mule. However as the ride continues, Bart notices a gremlin has attached itself to the side of the bus and is slowly picking it apart. He tries to warn the bus of it but everytime he does the gremlin hides out of sight. The first time, the bus just thinks he's crazy. The second time Otto assumes he's talking about Hans Moleman who was driving alongside them, to which Otto knocks him off the road (though his car stops before it can hit a tree...then explodes anyway).

Skinner tries to stop his paranoia by pulling the shade over the window but Bart can't help but peak and see the gremlin only worsening the damage. Bart yells hysterically that they're going to die, forcing Skinner to tackle him and tie him down with Willie's rope. Bart manages to convince his seat mate, Utter, to untie him and sees that the Gremlin is close to causing the back tire to come unloose. Realizing he's the only one that can save the bus, Bart notices some emergency flares and grabs one. He opens the window and tries to fight the Gremlin off but is pulled back in by Skinner and Wille. However he manages to throw the flare at the last second, hitting the gremlin and knocking it off the bus. Its hits Flanders' car, who stops and picks it up despite the gremlin trying to attack him.

The bus makes it safely to school where the passengers see the damage done to it, the bus collapsing in a heap as Skinner touches the last screw on the tire. Bart gleefully announces he was right, but Skinner nonetheless finds his actions deplorable and has Bart shipped off to an insane asylum. Bart begins to relax, only for the gremlin to show up in the window of the truck and show off the severed head of Flanders'. Bart, tied down and helpless, can only scream.

The family are watching TV that night of which the news reports of a victim drained of his blood and a black cape found at the scene. Despite obvious evidence, Wiggum assumes its a mummy and has the Egyptian wing of the museum destroyed. Lisa points out their error and tells her family the true culprit is a vampire but Homer dismisses the theory. The next news segment is about Mr. Burns buying a blood bank. As he's interviewed, he notices blood on his mouth and slurps it up. Though no one finds this strange in the slightest.

Some time later, the family is traveling at night to Pennsylvania, where Burns' has invited them to dinner. Lisa is suspicious but is of course, ignored. The family reach the manor where there's even more obvious evidence of Burns' being a vampire (i.e: Burns mentioning the family being "fresh victims of his evergrowing army of the undead" over the entrance's intercom, Burns' shadow having a life of its own, the "punch" being blood, etc) but the family save for Lisa don't notice. Lisa "accidently" spills the "punch" on Bart and her and they head off to get cleaned up. As they head back they find Burns' vampire lair (oddly easily accessible) and investigate, finding coffins at the bottom of the staircase. With a book stating clearly "Yes I Am A Vampire"

This story also with a dream, or rather, a nightmare as Bart dreams of his school bus losing control and being run over by a semi-truck.

Homer dreams of dounts while doing his rounds at his job. He awakens to try to eat donuts for real but find that Carl and Lenny had already eaten all of them. Desperate, Homer claims he'll sell his soul for a donut which at that instant, the devil, who surprisingly is Flanders (or taking his form) appears and offers to give him one. Homer signs a contract and is given a donut. But before he finishes he realizes that as long as he doesn't eat the last piece, the contract is voided. The devil vows Homer will go to Hell sooner or later before disappearing. Homer pockets the donut for later.

That night, a half-asleep Homer goes to grab a midnight snack and thoughtlessly eats the last piece. Right on cue the Devil appears and starts to suck him into Hell. The family awaken from the commotion with Lisa begging the Devil for a fair trial, which he grudgingly accepts but demands that Homer spend a day in Hell. Down below Homer finds himself chopped into pieces and given an ironic punishment by being force-fed donuts though manages to eat the whole supply to the demon's confusion.

Meanwhile the family has hire Lionel Hutz to represent them in the trial.

Just as it look that Homer will be condemned to Hell, Marge comes in with a photo album and shows everyone their wedding photo (which was in an emergency room as Homer ate the wedding cake...before the wedding).

Bart yells hysterically that they're going to die, forcing Skinner to tackle him and tie him down with Willie's rope. Bart manages to convince his seat mate, Utter, to untie him and see that the Gremlin is close to causing the back tire to come unloose.

The family are watching TV that night of which the news reports of a victim drained of his blood and a black cape found at the scene. Despite obvious evidence, Wiggum assumes its a mummy and has the Egyptian wing of the museum destroyed. Lisa points out their error and tells them the true culprit is a vampire but Homer dismisses the theory. The next news segment is about Mr. Burns buying a blood bank. As he's interviewed, he notices blood on his mouth and slurps it up. Though no on finds this strange in the slightest.

Some time later, the family is traveling at night to Pennsylvania, where Burns' has invited them to dinner. Lisa is suspicious but Marge asks her to stop it before asking the family if they've cleaned their necks. The family reach the manor where there even more obvious evidence of Burns' being a vampire (i.e: Burns mentioning the family being "fresh victims of his evergrowing army of the undead" over the entrance's intercom, Burns' shadow having a life of its own, the "punch" being blood, etc) but the family save for Lisa don't notice.

As Lisa looks through the book, Burns' vampire minions arise and walk to the two. Bart tries to warn Lisa but she doesn't notice into a vampire claws at the book. Bart and she run up the staircase but Bart stops when he sees a lever for a "Super Happy Fun Slide". Knowing its a trap but reasoning "when I'm I gonna be here again", Bart pulls it and slides back down into the lair, enjoying the ride until he sees the vampires. An undead woman grabs him and pins him to the floor as the rest of the vampires crowd around him. Burns suddenly appears in the lair via a bat form until changing to his human one. The vampire woman present Bart to Burns who, while forgetful of his name, bares his fangs and goes to feed on him. Bart screams as he unwittingly exposes his neck.

Lisa makes it back to the family and tells them what happened. But Burns, with very visible blood on his mouth, appears with a clearly bitten Bart who drones that nothing happen which the family believe. That night Lisa tries to sleep but can't before something taps on her window. She opens it to find Bart, now an evil vampire. He beckons her to join him, showing he's bitten some of the Springfield kids with her being next. Lisa refuses but Bart crashes through the window, pins her down and prepares to bite her. However the commotion attracts Homer who stops him as well as reveals to the family that of Bart's undead nature. Bart changes into a bat and flees into the night. Lisa tells her family that the only way to return Bart to normal is to kill the head vampire, Mr. Burns.

The family head back to Burns' castles and head down to his lair where they find his coffin. Homer opens the coffin and goes to drive a stake in his heart (though not before accidentally hitting his crotch). Burns' dies and all seems well (though he revives long enough to fire Homer). The next morning, things seems back to normal. Until Grandpa floats in, claiming himself a vampire. The rest of the family reveal to the shocked Lisa they're all vampires and that Burns' wasn't the head one, ''Marge'' is (though she justifies it as having a life outside the house). The undead family bare their fangs to attack Lisa....before turning to audience and wishing everyone a Happy Halloween. Ending the episode in a spoof the ending from A Charlie Brown Christmas.
