* AdaptationalNiceGuy: In this episode, Bugs shows kindness towards Cecil (the very same person who took away his cable just for kicks) until he realizes he was scamming him along with other people including Porky, unlike in the original shorts where he would antagonize the turtle for no reason other than a bruised ego.

* MoodWhiplash: Guns are common in classic ''Looney Tunes'', but rare in ''The Looney Tunes Show''. The fact Cecil holds Bugs and Porky at gunpoint is a lot darker in tone given the series's urban setting.

* IShallReturn: This episode's end tag has Cecil being arrested and thrown in jail. He says "That's ''not'' all, folks! I'm gonna get out of here, and when I do, watch out, Buges Buney!" before smirking evilly. However, the show ended before it could get a third episode centered around Cecil.

* TakingAdvantageOfGenerosity: Cecil does this to Bugs, Porky, and a few others as part of his scam.

This episode features the "Wonderful Bugs" Merrie Melodies music video.

!! This episode provides examples of:

* AdaptationalDumbass: The original shorts had Cecil being one of the few characters to ever beat Bugs Bunny by outwitting him. He knows the right things to say to get under Bugs' skin and in his second appearance, was able to see through Bugs' PaperThinDisguise, but plays along to exploit Bugs' bruised ego and put him at a disadvantage, counting on the other rabbits being too stupid to realize they're hindering Bugs. In this episode, when he has Bugs and Porky at gunpoint, Bugs exploits his ego by making him share the details of his crimes and tricking him into sitting back on Daffy's broken recliner, knocking him out.
* AccessoryWearingCartoonAnimal: Daffy. This episode reveals that the reason he stopped wearing clothes seven years before its events was because his closet system was so disorganized.
* AdaptationalVillainy: Cecil was willing to kill Bugs and Porky to [[TheyKnowTooMuch stop them from exposing his cracked shell fraud scheme]], something he would never do in the original shorts.
* BurgerFool: In a flashback, Daffy is revealed to have worked at That-a-Burger, a spoof of Whataburger.
* ChekhovsGag: In the prologue, Daffy struggles to get his recliner to recline. When he finally does, it launches him into the wall. Near the end of the episode, Bugs spots Daffy's recliner and tricks Cecil into sitting in it so it can launch him into the wall, cracking his shell for real.
* EvilLaugh: Cecil does this when his plan succeeds.
-->'''Bugs:''' Were you just laughing?\\
'''Cecil:''' What? No.\\
'''Bugs:''' [[LampshadeHanging It sounded like the evil laugh of a cartoon villain]].\\
'''Cecil:''' Oh, don't be silly. I mean, do I look like a cartoon villain? ''([[IResembleThatRemark smirks evilly at the audience]])''\\
'''Bugs:''' ''(looks at the audience confused)'' [[LeaningOnTheFourthWall Who are you looking at?]]
* HiddenDepths: It is revealed in this episode that Daffy's old recliner was something Daffy bought with his own money after working at That-a-Burger, not giving up working until he had enough money to afford it.
* HumiliationConga: Near the end of this episode, two of the characters (Porky and Bugs) Cecil conned find out about his scheme in which the turtle pretends to have a broken shell and swindle innocents out of their money. When he tries pulling a TheyKnowTooMuch with a gun, Bugs (who he only felt contempt for) outsmarts him, causing his shell to be legitimately cracked this time. Cecil's gun then gets taken from him, Bugs mocks him, and he gets arrested.
* HypocriticalHumor:
** After Bugs allegedy cracks Cecil's shell with his car, Daffy takes over the car, telling Bugs that being behind the wheel of a car is a tremendous responsibility requiring concentration and focus to avoid accidents. Immediately afterwards, [[CarMeetsHouse he drives into the wall of the thrift store]].
** At Home Warehouse, Daffy comes across a bin full of scarf baskets, asking why anyone would need a scarf basket. Then when Lola shows him the closet organizing system she found, which includes scarf baskets, he calls them genius.
* ImpactSilhouette: Daffy leaves a hole shaped like his body in the wall where Bugs' TV used to be after he gets launched by his old recliner a second time.
* LaserGuidedKarma: Cecil pretends to have his shell cracked by Bugs and Porky to scam money out of them. In the episode's climax, he gets his shell cracked for real and is later shown to be arrested in this episode's end tag.
* MaliciousMisnaming: Just like with his previous appearance in "[[Recap/TheLooneyTunesShowS2E7CustomerService Customer Service]]", Cecil calls Bugs Bunny "Buges Buney".
* ManipulativeBastard: Cecil manipulates Bugs and later Porky into giving him money in order to fix his shell which was "accidentally" broken by them in two completely separate car accidents that he himself set up.
* MurphysBed: Lola tests out a folding mattress at Home Warehouse. She ends up folding it too much and loses the remote, getting stuck in the mattress with her big rabbit feet sticking out. Eventually Daffy comes and gets her out.
* MythologyGag: While Bugs looks up the newspaper articles on his computer, the newspapers are named after former directors of the original ''Looney Tunes'' cartoons: "Jones Gazette" after Creator/ChuckJones, "The Clampettonian" after Creator/BobClampett, "The Davis National" after [[Creator/ArtDavis Arthur Davis]], "The Tex News Service" after Creator/TexAvery, "The Tashlin Times" after Creator/FrankTashlin, and "The Freleng Report" after Creator/FrizFreleng.
* PoopingWhereYouShouldnt: While shopping at Home Warehouse, Daffy relieves himself in one of the display toilets, not realizing it's only for display until after Lola tells him. After he gets kicked out of Home Warehouse, he complains that [[NoodleIncident the last time he got kicked out of somewhere, it was for not using a toilet]].
* RemovableShell: Cecil has a fake cracked shell that he wears to trick people into thinking they broke it so he can threaten to sue them unless they do as he says. His real shell ends up cracked when Bugs and Porky foil his plan.
* ShaggyDogStory: At the end of the episode, it is revealed that Daffy had finally gotten used to the new recliner, meaning that Bugs' mission to get Daffy's old recliner back was all for nothing.
-->'''Bugs:''' You miserable little...
* ShipperOnDeck: In the "Wonderful Bugs" Merrie Melodies music video, Walter approves of Bugs being Lola's boyfriend to the point of singing about how great he is and hoping that he becomes his son-in-law.
* ShoutOut: Cecil's evil smirk resembles that of [[WesternAnimation/HowTheGrinchStoleChristmas The Grinch]].
* StagedPedestrianAccident: putting a brick behind Bugs's car, and when Bugs hits it, pretending that Bugs hit ''him'' and that his shell was damaged. Bugs catches him when Cecil tries to hit Porky with the same scam.
* TakingAdvantageOfGenerosity: Cecil does this to Bugs, Porky, and a few others as part of his scam.
