Varya mistakes a woman giving her package for attempt to bribe her, and later angrily returns this package to the woman's husband. But she is unaware that the package was containing alcohol, and now it's in patient's hands. When Varya returns, she finds him and two more men drinking. When she fails to convince them to stop, she breaks into tears, and they, in attempt to calm her down, offers her cognac, which she blindly drinks. Now Varya fears that somebody would find out that she drinks on duty. Deciding that she has nothing to lose now, she stays with them, and gets wasted. While drunk, she reveals that she actually has feelings for Gleb; she thinks that it's time to confess to him, while she still has a chance (as he's ready to give up on her).

* BullyingADragon: By now, Levin already knows how Lobanov reacts to being called "dumb". He still insults his intellect when assigns everyone patients, giving him the easiest one due to Semyong being "the weakest".

* ComicallyMissingThePoint: When Bykov sarcastically suggests to just put on Batman's mask, go outside, say "Humanity's in danger!" and run, Kisegach asks him wether he really has a Batman's mask.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: Gleb's plan works flawlessly... right until Bykov decides to actually call Levin, who, seeing that the call came from Gleb's number (due to Romanenko switching numbers), yells on Bykov without even listening, saying that he's tired of Gleb's antics. Bykov, not understanding what's going on, tries to call from Gleb's phone... and hears perfectly sane Levin reporting to him. Gleb never accounted for what would happen if Bykov asks Levin about his version of events.

* ComicallyMissingThePoint: When Bykov Bykov, as reaction to Kisegach suggesting in panic to just jump out of the window (they're at third floor), sarcastically suggests suggests to just put on Batman's mask, go outside, say "Humanity's in danger!" and run, Kisegach asks him wether whether he really has a Batman's mask.
* DidntThinkThisThrough: DidntThinkThisThrough:
** Gleb prepares to meet Varya with firecracker, confetti and flowers. He didn't account for Varya being not alone, but with a patient (an old woman), whom he nearly causes a heart attack -- and, obviously, makes Varya angry at him.
** Bykov thinks that they just have to wait for Vera to leave, and he may sneak out. Kisegach points that Vera just saw Bykov's crossers, and while she doesn't know who's the owner, she certainly wouldn't leave until she finds out more.
** Varya mistakes content of the bag received from a patient's wife for bribe attempt, and delivers it to the patient, so he would return it. The bag has cognac bottle, so the patient and his two wardmates just proceed to drink it together. When Varya finds them and accuses of acting irresponsible, the patient reasonably points that it's fully her fault, and she really should've seen it coming.
**
Gleb's plan how to exploit Levin works flawlessly... right until Bykov decides to actually call Levin, who, seeing that the call came from Gleb's number (due to Romanenko switching numbers), yells on at Bykov without even listening, saying that he's tired of Gleb's antics. Bykov, not understanding what's going on, tries to call from Gleb's phone... and hears perfectly sane Levin reporting to him. Gleb never accounted for what would happen if Bykov asks Levin about his version of events.events.
* DoorJudo: Levin prepares to ram the door, but at the last moment, Gleb and Semyon opens it, and he just falls into the room.
* DoubleStandard: When Semyon mocks Gleb about him being rejected by Varya, and gets told that it's not his fucking business, he takes it fine. When Levin gives exactly the same reply regarding mocking his relationship with Lyuba, Lobanov gets angry.
* DudeNotFunny: Levin doesn't like Semyon's joke about him loving "big women" (regarding his relationship with Lyuba), and rudely tells Lobanov to shut up.
* EmbarrassingLastName: According to Troll Bykov, "Kisegach" surname is a mix of English word "kiss" and old Turk word for "butt".

* LoveEpiphany: Varya, when she gets drunk, suddenly realises that she has feelings for Gleb. She decides to just go and tell him so.

to:

* GetOut: Kisegach is already angry at Bykov for letting Kupitman know about their previous affairs. When he tells that "almost" no one else knows, she angrily tells him to get out, saying that it was "the last time" (which Bykov, having prior experience, doesn't believe).
* HoistByHisOwnPetard: Kisegach interrogating Kupitman ultimately annoys Bykov enough for him to burst out of the cabinet, rendering all attempts to hide him moot. However, Kupitman was already aware (and was in agreement with Bykov to keep quiet), so it doesn't change much.
* KickTheDog: Gleb and Semyon spends entire day abusing Levin for no good reason. They even considers to send him to do lavement to a patient, who, judging from description (and Semyon's reaction) would certainly react violently. Gleb also fools Levin into putting money on his mobile account, since Levin thinks that it's Bykov's (Lobanov tries to do the same, but obviously gets told that it wouldn't work).
* LoveEpiphany: Varya, when she gets drunk, suddenly realises that she has feelings for Gleb. She decides to just go and tell him so.so; she has little time left, as Gleb is ready to give up on her after continuous failures.

* SecretKeeper: Kupitman accidentally busts Bykov with Kisegach, but agrees to keep quiet about their affair. He also helps Bykov to leave Kisegach's office without anyone else busting them.
* TheThingThatWouldNotLeave: After their drunk one-night stand, Bykov refuses to leave Kisegach's office until she accepts that there's something more than "just sex" between them. It backfires on him later, as when Bykov actually decides that it's time to leave and do his job, he can't, as people just keeps going and going. He only manages to leave towards the end of the episode, when Kupitman finds out anyway, but agrees to keep quiet and cover for them.

to:

* NeverMyFault: Gleb gets called on his moronic pick-up attempt. His response? Because Varya already rejected all "non-moronic" ones, he has to use what's left. This response makes Varya even angrier.
* OhCrap: Kisegach's secretary, Vera, knocks into door and asks whether her boss is at the office. Kisegach is scared by the prospect of being busted, while Bykov instead finds it funny.
* OneDialogueTwoConversations: Another doctor comes in discuss with Kisegach her plans to install breast implants. He's actually talking about the topic, while Kisegach (in rather angry tone) says that yes, she would install them, as she she's a woman, and she can want a good-looking breast, and there's nothing funny at all! She's telling this not to the doctor, but to Bykov, who's hiding in the cabinet and trying to hold his laugh.
* SecretKeeper: Kupitman accidentally busts Bykov with Kisegach, but agrees to keep quiet about and reveals that he wa already aware of their affair.affair, but keeps it secret on Bykov's request. He also helps Bykov to leave Kisegach's office without anyone else busting them.
* TheSlacker: When Bykov doesn't show up in thirty minutes, Lobanov proposes to just leave, justifying it with "student law". No one sides with him. Gleb then tricks Levin into doing all the job for them, while they would slack off. It works right until Bykov actually visits them and finds out the truth.
* TheThingThatWouldNotLeave: After their drunk one-night stand, Bykov refuses to leave Kisegach's office until she accepts that there's something more than "just sex" between them. It backfires on him later, as when Bykov actually decides that it's time to leave and do his job, he can't, as people just keeps keep going and going. going, and they would rather keep their secret. He only manages to leave towards the end of the episode, when Kupitman finds out anyway, but agrees to keep quiet and cover for them.them.
* Troll: Bykov spends most of the day annoying Kisegach, just to have fun. Eventually, she turns the table by starting asking Kupitman to share some info on Bykov himself, knowing that Bykov is here, but can't intervene to not reveal himself; Bykov soon snaps.
