Beast Boy, frustrated by a hidden images puzzle in a children's magazine, becomes super-smart in order to solve it.
----
* NinetyPercentOfYourBrain: The focus of the plot, as [[TitleDrop the episode's title indicates]]. Robin claims that people only use 10% of their brains, while Cyborg points out that's a common misconception used for sci-fi movies and people actually use all of their brains subconsciously. Beast Boy sticks to Robin's interpretation and tries to raise his intelligence to solve a puzzle, becoming a thespian at 10% and brutally observant of everyone's psychological issues at 50%, eventually leading to him using the entirety of his brain and gaining various superpowers like TimeTravel in the process.
* ArtShift: While Beast Boy is demonstrating his powers at 80% brainpower, it suddenly shifts to a live-action shot of his torso and hands as he performs a magic trick with a quarter.
* BrutalHonesty: At 50% of his brainpower, Beast Boy psychoanalyzes all of the other Titans such as pointing out how Raven's moodiness is a response to her father's demonic expectations for her, leading to them huddling up together and crying.
* FullConversionCyborg: Upon unlocking the use of 100% of his brain, Beast Boy transforms himself into a computer with his original face displayed on a screen.
* HereWeGoAgain: The episode ends with Beast Boy finally solving the puzzle in the magazine, only to turn the page and get stumped on the next puzzle.
* HypocriticalHumor: Upon finally solving the puzzle in the children's magazine that the other Titans solved immediately, which required [[RealityWarper warping reality]] and then getting ''slapped'' by the object he missed when it gets frustrated at Beast Boy's inability to find it, Beast Boy remarks at how that puzzle was super-easy and should be made harder. [[HereWeGoAgain He then immediately gets stuck on a maze with only three paths on the next page.]]
* RealityWarper: In the climax, Beast Boy transforms his room into a dimension resembling the magazine puzzle in order to solve it, and then into the maze on the next page at the episode's end.
* TimeTravel: Upon reaching 80% of brain usage, Beast Boy is able to warp himself back in time to the origins of his DNA in order to make contact with his original ancestor and unlock the rest of his brainpower.
