Dean asks if this will spare Sam, and Cas says that if it gives him comfort he can look at it that way. A disgusted Dean says Cas is “a dick these days” but he agrees. Cas asks Dean to give himself over to the service of God and his Angels, and Dean vows his obedience as [[HeldGaze he stares into Cas’s eyes]]. Cas tells Dean that they will call on him when it is time.
