* VillainBall: The NID swiped the second Stargate and put a replacement in place...made of plastic. Needless to say, the SG-1 team figures out that the gate is fake as soon as they tap it. Granted, it's not as if they could have reproduced the material it's made of, but you'd think they'd at least spring for a more convincing fake.

* PlotHole: Teal'c has a [[StunGun zat]] out and leveled at the escaping NID men, but for some reason doesn't use it even though the first shot isn't lethal, allowing them to jump through the Beta Gate and get away. Website/SFDebris notes in the [[http://sfdebris.com/videos/stargate/sg1s2e14.php review]] that this was the only episode Sam Egan wrote for the series, suggesting that the error was due to lack of knowledge.
