It's Valentines Day in the Mushroom Kingdom, and everyone has a date...all except Fishy Boopkins, who's only able to "date" his favorite girl in an anime dating game, Saiko. That all changes when a chance encounter allows him to bring her to life, but while things go swimmingly at first, Saiko's jealous tendencies soon start causing problems...

->It's Valentines! And everyone has a valentines date... even... Fishy Boopkins? ... Wait a minute... that's not a person. OH GOD RUN

This episode marks the debut of Saiko Bichitaru.

!Tropes:
* AttentionWhore: Saiko's villainy stems around her lashing out whenever she isn't the center of someone's attention, whether it's her boyfriend or his friends.
* ClingyJealousGirl: Saiko gets insanely jealous around other girls, even if they're non-sentient anime girls on TV or Bob's dolled up garbage bag.
* ComicalOverreacting: Mario's reaction to seeing Saiko in the flesh:
-->'''Mario:''' ANIME HAS COME TO LIFE! WE'RE DOOMED!
* DownerEnding: The episode ends on a downbeat note as Saiko, rejected by everyone--including Boopkins--for being a [[PunnyName psycho bitch]], runs off in tears knowing that she will continue being lonely and unloved, while Boopkins can do nothing but ask his friends to let her go and do her no harm. [[MoodWhiplash Mario breaks the sad atmosphere at the very end, though.]]
* HypocriticalHumor: Bob calls Boopkins a loser for not having a real girlfriend, when his own girlfriend, "Bobella-chan", is just a garbage bag with a fake face and a bow.
* IJustWantToBeLoved: Saiko's tearful MotiveRant at the end delves into how she turns violent and crazy when nobody ever picks her as their date in her game, not accepting that people don't date her because of said violence and craziness.
* NeverTrustATitle: In spite of what the title suggests, the video has nothing to actually do with ''VideoGame/DokiDokiLiteratureClub'' outside of Saiko's loose resemblance to Monika, another self-aware DatingSim character who's in love with the player and eliminates rivals to the player's affections.
* RealLifeWritesThePlot: According to ''LetsPlay/HoboBros'', this episode was originally more themed around ''VideoGame/DokiDokiLiteratureClub''. This plan hit a snag when ''VideoGame/GarrysMod'' didn't have any models of the DDLC characters in time for the episode's creation, as DDLC was still a new game at the time. This led to the episode's plot being rewritten and Saiko being made an original character with no ties to DDLC.
* RefugeeFromTVLand: Saiko gets teleported from her DatingSim to the real world when Boopkin casts a spell on her with Kamek's wand.
* RoaringRampageOfRevenge: Saiko tries getting revenge on Boopkins for [[NotGoodWithRejection dumping her]] by attacking him and his friends with a MiniMecha.
* ScrewThisImOuttaHere: After being forced by Saiko to work for her, Wario and Waluigi bail on her and take her MiniMecha away as soon as she's beaten.
* SecondActBreakup: Boopkins breaks up with Saiko in the second act upon realizing her true jealous nature when she burns all of his body pillows in a jealous rage, kickstarting the third act where Saiko goes on a RoaringRampageOfRevenge against him. [[DownerEnding They don't get back together in the end.]]
* UnusuallyUninterestingSight: When Kamek gets pinned down by a car, Boopkins' first and only concern turns out to be Kamek's magic wand lying on the ground, which Boopkins uses to bring Saiko to life.
