'''SCP-1413''' is a television program detailing a violent sporting event referred to in all broadcasts as variants of common sporting names, most of which contain the postfix “-ball”. Each broadcast is approximately one hour long, and usually features unrelated sporting events presented in a style similar to Olympic-themed competitions, accompanied by running commentary. As a subject views a broadcast, they will begin to associate any feelings they have towards organized sports with 1413's content. If they complete a viewing session, subjects will not have any interest in any sporting event besides those shown on 1413. If the subject continues to view 1413, all athletic paraphernalia they own will be altered to reflect the equivalent in 1413. Affected subjects will also react with confusion when other subjects are not aware of the existence of 1413, as they believe it to be as well-known as any other major sporting league.

'''SCP-1414''' is a radio with a non-functional cassette deck and CD player made out of standard materials. 1414’s first anomalous property is that it responds to language. When its power supply is interrupted and restored, the first human to speak a command to the radio will become an instance of '''SCP-1414-1'''. 1414 will change stations, or increase or decrease its volume, upon command from 1414-1. 1414 is able to detect commands in a variety of formats, including physically muffled speech, voice synthesizers, sign language, writing, semaphore flags, and Morse code. Third-party tests have also revealed that 1414 can distinguish between commands genuinely relayed by a third party, and commands invented by that third party. 1414 also appears to be able to receive any broadcast signal described by 1414-1 anywhere on the planet, regardless of frequency, location, or signal strength. When the volume is set higher than "6" by physically adjusting the volume control or by having 1414-1 request it, 1414-1 will gradually become deaf to any sound not originating from 1414 itself. After approximately 9 minutes of listening to 1414 at higher volume, 1414-1 will be deaf to any external sound not louder than 1414 itself, and will be deaf to any external sound regardless of how loud it is after approximately 24 uninterrupted minutes of listening to the radio.

'''SCP-1415''' is a fingerless, left-handed leather gauntlet. The object has a tendency to expand and contract slightly, giving it the appearance of breathing. The object's anomalous properties come into effect when the wearer grasps an object in such a way that the palm of the gauntlet rests upon it. In a process that takes place over 1-3 seconds, the target is converted into a living organism composed of various human tissues, while destroying extant tissue in the wearer's body roughly equivalent to the mass of the converted object. If the wearer dies while wearing the gauntlet, it may still be used until the carcass is totally destroyed.

to:

'''SCP-1416''' is a ceramic vessel in the shape of a human head with Quapaw facial markings indicated to have been manufactured in the mid-16th century, apparently designed for the preparation of tea. 1416's anomalous effects become apparent when a sample of human flesh is placed in the vessel prior to boiling water within it. The resulting liquid is designated '''SCP-1416-2''', and when ingested by higher primates, induces highly erratic brain activity and rapid memory formation, which is subjectively perceived as experiencing the entire lifespan of the individual whose flesh was used to prepare the liquid. There are currently 14 samples of 1416-2 in refrigerated containment, and they are the only remnants of 1416 left in custody, since 1416 itself mysteriously vanished from containment.

'''SCP-1417''' is a seemingly ordinary Cavendish banana, which is partially peeled at one end. Biological analysis reveals that 1417 does not differ from an ordinary banana in any way, and it apparently does not suffer from standard biological decomposition. The banana’s most noticeable anomalous properties include the inability to continue peeling it, with testers reporting intense feelings of resistance from the peel itself. '''SCP-1417-2''' is a single piece of laminated printer paper accompanied by a single plastic chip. The page lists 1417 as a "Swiss Army Banana", and contains a chart of several options with accompanying blank boxes. When the plastic chip is placed into any of the blank boxes, 1417 will take on the properties of the object selected. The banana itself will not change or display any new visual qualities, but will instead function as the selected object. When the chip is placed into the "REST" box, 1417 will return to an inert state and appear as normal. If 1417 is not placed into the "REST" position once every twelve hours, it will develop a limp appearance and begin to turn green, becoming non-functional until the "REST" option is selected.

to:

'''SCP-1418''' is an ornate ivory liturgical comb consistent with 12th century craftsmanship. Its anomalous properties become apparent when worn by a human subject, who is then rapidly transformed, physically and biologically, into a Caucasian woman who appears to be 25-30 years old in a process which takes approximately 1 minute. Tissue samples harvested from subjects indicate this effect extends to a genetic level. The transformed subject is biologically dead, with vital signs absent and algor mortis beginning immediately. Despite this, the subject retains consciousness and is able to follow physical and mental tasks to completion for at least 20 hours after transformation. Over the next 24 hours, the body of the subject will undergo an accelerated process of decomposition, entering putrefaction approximately 18 hours later. The user's capacity to move and act progressively degrades until at 23 hours and 50 minutes from transformation consciousness and movement cease. Removal of the comb will result in the reversion of the subject to their former state, with all vital signs returning to normal, in a second process that takes 10 minutes.

'''SCP-1419''' is a television signal that will display static in the majority of cases. On occasion, the static will be replaced with religious programming, including sermons, religious rites, and funerals. While several of the religions shown appear to be similar to current or ancient faiths, a majority bear little or no resemblance to any known theology. These broadcasts often coincide with a rise in practice of the broadcast religions on a global scale. Records indicate 1419 is owned by a corporation named "Learning with God". Multiple interviews with employees of the station that originally owned the signal, it was discovered that the only contact between the original owners and "Learning with God" was through e-mail.

'''SCP-1400''' is a humanoid resembling a Caucasian man of indeterminate age and average build, clad only with a black FM50 gas mask with opaque smoked lenses. It is intangible to all human beings except for a single random Caucasian man of similar build to itself that it will focus on, designated '''SCP-1400-A'''. The entity speaks constantly, though its vocalizations are always indecipherable due to its mask. Although apparently capable of normal locomotion, it tends instead to move by a poorly-characterized form of instantaneous translocation. 1400's voluntary activities consist almost entirely of observing 1400-A. Though the position of its eyes cannot be observed through its mask, the motions of its head track 1400-A's movements closely. Reactions to the creature vary between subjects, although most tend towards fear and distrust it, as is typical for persons confronted with the reality of constant surveillance. The only anomalous component of 1400-A's behavior is an extreme and universal revulsion at the idea of seeing 1400’s face. 1400’s vocalizations are an active cognitohazard, 75% of people exposed to the sounds report a strong desire to remove 1400’s mask.

'''SCP-1401''' is a former stretch of highway paved in the early 20th century. 1401 exhibits no anomalous properties during daylight hours, and may be traversed safely. During nighttime hours, motor vehicles traveling along 1401, regardless of whether they were traveling east or west, do not arrive at their destination and cannot be located by any means. Surveys have located no trace of wreckage or signs of collisions. Monitoring equipment has spontaneously failed during disappearances, and pursuing aircraft have noted the test vehicle's headlights spontaneously deactivate concurrent with equipment failure, as well as instantaneous disappearance of the test vehicle's heat signature from onboard infrared imaging equipment. '''SCP-1401-1''' are several hundred motor vehicles with license plates and physical descriptions matching vehicles that have disappeared while traveling 1401. 738 unique instances have been identified to date, 31 of which have been identified as former Foundation test vehicles, and the vehicles themselves ranging in chronological design from a 1916 Ford Model T to a 2006 Toyota Camry. Upon manifesting, an instance of 1401-1 will proceed to drive in no particular direction upon any highway, arterial road, surface street, alley, or back road legally open to civilian traffic, without parking or stopping except for traffic lights, stop signs, or as necessary to yield to traffic or pedestrians. If not interfered with, 1401-1 will obey all traffic laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which it is operating.

'''SCP-1402''' is a plastic brown Royal Traveler briefcase that can be opened by unlatching 2 stainless steel clips found on either side of the rubber handle. If presented to any object or living thing and opened, 1402 will dispense a number of documents providing explicit detail of the subject’s history up until it was presented. The mechanism by which 1402 achieves this is unknown, as is the mechanism by which it acquires paper and ink to print the information. Testing has shown that 1402 only distributes 1000 pages per subject. The content of these documents seems to be entirely random, and no trend has yet to be realized.

'''SCP-1403''' is a collection of 27 (formerly 31) female creatures resembling goldfish, each contained within a light bulb of non-standard design. Inside the bulb of each object is approximately 120mL of a solution of proteins, amino acids, and water necessary for nutrition and respiration. 1403 do not appear to consume food or produce waste, instead receiving sustenance when electric current is passed through the water they reside in. The fish can be removed from the bulbs, and will starve after approximately five days unless provided with an alternative source of electrical current and proteins. Dissections have revealed that the fish possess no digestive tract, instead having an organ responsible for converting electricity into sustenance. When connected to an electric current, these fish are capable of emitting electromagnetic radiation in the segment of the visual spectrum corresponding to orange. When the electric current exceeds 1 amp, this radiation will begin to enter the ultraviolet spectrum.

'''SCP-1404''' is composed of a ceramic black bowl and a stainless steel spoon, neither of which bear any marks indicating location or date of manufacture. If either object is placed in an orientation that is not standard for eating, it will slowly right itself into a suitable position by unknown means. Once upright, both items will slide in the direction of the nearest table-like surface at a speed of 20 meters per hour. If there is no direct path to a table, the objects will attempt to go through obstacles by rubbing against them, causing damage consistent with constant friction, but with no effect to the objects themselves. 1404 has also been observed sliding up and down walls, accessing ventilation systems, moving along ropes 1 centimeter in diameter, and dropping from heights of 30m without damage. Five minutes after settling into position, the bowl will slowly fill with non-anomalous dairy milk through an unknown external source. Once the milk reaches 472 mL, cereal letters will rise from the milk and spell out a variety of phrases. While these phrases are vague in meaning, they are consistently negative and threatening. If the bowl is emptied, the process will repeat as before, though with a different phrase of similar content. If a letter is removed, it is replaced within 10 seconds. When unhindered, the phrases will remain for 24 hours, at which point the letters simultaneously sink out of sight, a new phrase emerging 30 seconds later. 1404 does not appear to be sentient, as all attempts to transmit messages, write replies, and verbally communicate with the bowl and spoon have met with no results.

'''SCP-1405''' is a life-size model of a prehistoric giant ground sloth, previously displayed in a natural history museum for 12 years. When undisturbed for a variable period of time, the sloth will become animate and begin moving around its enclosure, despite the fact that X-ray scans indicate it is composed plastic resin and metal scaffolding in lieu of musculature, internal organs, or moveable joints. 1405’s behavior is comparable both to extant species of sloth and to other large herbivores. It mostly spends time browsing on vegetation, but it has also been observed sleeping in a ground nest, scratching and rubbing on trees, and playing with various objects. While it consumes plant material at a rate consistent with other mammalian herbivores of its size, the sloth does not produce waste. While it prefers an herbivorous diet, the sloth will also consume meat, wood, plastic, plaster, and bite-sized pieces of metal. If startled, 1405 will instantly revert to its inactive pose, sitting on its hind legs with one forearm raised. It is apparently able to maintain this pose indefinitely, and will not react to any stimuli during this time, although it does retain memories of events during its inactive state.

'''SCP-1406''' is an anomalous structure in a building in France that induces hallucinations in whoever looks at it.

to:

'''SCP-1406''' is an anomalous structure a medium-sized structure, consisting primarily of brick and sheet metal and affixed with a wooden door, located in a heavily damaged building in France that induces France. Individuals inside 1406 have reported experiencing various hallucinatory and psychological effects. These effects include hallucinations of a pair of heavily injured octopi mating, a sensation of the structure’s interior being slightly larger than the exterior, and a prolonged sense of slight forgetfulness, upon exiting. 1406 also contains an object resembling a chair constructed of ten to twenty small pieces of metal. The object appears to be coated in whoever looks at it.a semi-transparent, mildly luminescent violet liquid. Analysis of this fluid has shown it to be a mixture of purple dye, tungsten, and several unidentified substances. Several seconds after removal, the mixture will invariably cease luminescing.

'''SCP-1407''' are earbuds that inject their wearers with metal wires that spread throughout the body.

to:

'''SCP-1407''' are earbuds a collection of ear buds composed of ordinary plastic and various metal wires, along with other components normally found in headphones. When a pair of 1407 is worn in the ear of a human subject, it will begin to extrude wires into the ear canal. Subjects will not report feeling these wires, but will indicate that inject they find the ear buds extremely comfortable to wear. After a period of 20-45 minutes, the wires will reach the cochlea and extend into the pores of the ear canal, physically removing any hair and replacing them with additional wires. At this point, the subject will be unable to remove 1407 without severely damaging their wearers ear canals. 1407 will continue spreading through the subject's body, whereupon subjects may report rashes or impaired vision. 1407 will create additional instances of itself underneath the subject’s skin, as well as within the stomach, cranium, and intestines, by replicating its components with metal wires that spread throughout bone, muscle, and bodily fluids. If the body.subject is exposed to sounds greater than 115 dB, the speakers within the body will begin to replicate the sound. As exposure time increases, the subject's skin tissue and any matter occupying the ocular cavities will begin to flake off or dissolve, as the speakers within the subject become louder.

to:

'''SCP-1408''' is an electromechanical device dating back to the 1800s, consisting of a main unit constructed from wood, clockwork, and pulleys connected to a metallic head cap with multiple cables. When the head cap was placed on the head of a human subject and the device was activated, 1408 transcribed the encoded memories of the subject onto a wax roll in the main unit by an unknown process. 1408 is currently inoperable, partially due to severe deterioration of its components.

'''SCP-1409''' is a series of recordings made by hydrophones located in the southern Atlantic Ocean. They are simultaneous recordings of a single set of vocalizations made by a male Humpback Whale, which last for 19 minutes and 34 seconds, and have been determined by testing to be the active part of the recording. Individuals who listen to the vocalizations report a human voice singing in an unknown language in place of the actual content of the recording. While the meaning of the song cannot be made out, each listener believes that the voice is addressing them directly, and some assert that the singer sounds "sad" or "lonely". If an individual hears 1409 for a certain period of time, the primary anomalous property of the recording comes into effect. Listeners initially begin to identify strongly with the "singer", and show a marked and unusual ability to remember the song. Over a varying length of time, affected subjects will begin to experience a strong desire to travel to an area comprising approximately 40 cubic meters of water, located roughly 20 meters below the surface of the water in the Atlantic Ocean. Affected individuals will attempt to reach this area, designated '''Point 1409-Alpha''', by any means available. In cases where no adequate transportation is available, subjects will attempt to reach a coastline and swim towards 1409-Alpha, invariably resulting in exhaustion and drowning. If a subject successfully reaches 1409-Alpha, they invariably experience feelings of shock and betrayal, claiming that they were led to believe there was a person or object at 1409 of great value, although they cannot explain the precise nature of the promised object.

'''SCP-1410''' is a water-smoothed stone that appears to possess a limited degree of sapience, connected to the colored perspirations it emits at regular intervals. '''SCP-1410-1''' are optical illusions created by 1410, the exact natures contingent on the same perspirations. 1410 does not seem to be aware that it is the source of the hallucinations, and will react negatively to them, increasing its rate of perspiration and thus the creation of additional perspirations. Physical contact with 1410 enables a one-sided communication with it, though it is mostly limited to 1410 broadcasting vague phrases and emotions at whoever touches it, dependent on the color of its current perspiration.

'''SCP-1411''' is a collection of machinery found in a cave in the Turkestan Mountain Range in Uzbekistan. While much of the equipment's purpose and function is unknown, several parts are assessed to be receivers for a signal propagated through unknown means, and one section in particular has been identified as a transmitter. Central to the entire assembly is a large video display, showing an unknown location. The location shown has similar machinery to 1411, referred to as '''SCP-1411-B'''. It appears to be in a partly collapsed structure with stone and metal walls. The sky can be observed through openings in the structure. Though the sun is never seen directly, it shows a day-night cycle lasting roughly 31 hours. The stars, to the extent that they can be observed through the display, do not appear to match any area of the sky visible from Earth. Based on this information, it is believed to be an extraterrestrial location. Damages sustained to 1411-B include electrical discharges, changes in local gravity, and an increase in the rate in heat transfer between objects in the area. When a human touches a recessed panel in the area assessed as a transmitter, it triggers the production of an autonomous machine by 1411-B. These robots are roughly a meter tall, navigating on four multi-jointed legs. The main body is roughly cylindrical, with two limbs that divide three times into eight finger-like appendages. Three dark lenses are situated on the top of the cylinder, and are believed to be the eyes of the robot. When a robot is created, it is imprinted with the consciousness of the person who activates the transmitter. Communication suggests that the robots possess all memories and personality of the originals. They are also imprinted with information necessary for the maintenance and basic repairs of 1411-B. The robots only remain operational for thirty-five to forty-eight hours before breaking down, necessitating the creation of further units.

'''SCP-1412''' is a pair of trees reminiscent of Japanese cedar, with similar biological profiles and slight variations in appearance. The trees achieve mobility through growth, as frontal maws located underneath the bases of the trees digest plant and animal matter, which is then processed to produce bark for propulsion, effectively pushing them forward. Feeding in this manner does not seem to be crucial to the existence of 1412, although in most cases either have been shown to move given an opportunity. 1412 will not consume human matter and do not actively hunt for food, save for the purpose of using it for mobility. A large portion of the bark seems to be severely damaged and charred, the cause assumed to be annual rainfall. Introduction to small amounts of water cause the bark to combust. Damaged sections of the trees do not appear to heal, but this does not result in reduced mobility or any abnormal behavior.

!![[https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1329 SCP-1329]] - The Aquarium
'''SCP-1329''' is an abandoned aquarium located in Russia. The three sub-surface floors vary in size, architecture, and layout significantly when compared to any other floors and are present on no blueprints from the time of construction. The building is in a state of severe disrepair, though it shows few signs of looting or vandalism. '''SCP-1329-1''' are a group of human beings which will regularly manifest in or around 1329. '''SCP-1345''' is an abandoned Quonset hut, constructed between 1949 and 1951 by employees of Los Alamos National Laboratories under direction of the United States government. The hut houses an assembly of equipment ('''SCP-1345-A''') designed to broadcast precisely modulated microwaves in a direction selected by the operator of the assembly. Along with various support equipment, the assembly contains a control computer using miniaturized vacuum tubes as computing elements, signal generation and modulation equipment digitally controlled by the computer, and a synchronized array of UHF transmitters to generate the microwave signal. The transmission system terminates in a gimballed parabolic dish antenna, mounted on a steel mast able to telescope through a hatch in the roof. The antenna is able to be aimed precisely via rotation and elevation. Several aspects of the equipment make it distinct from conventional microwave transmission facilities. The crossed-field final amplifiers and tuning units driving the antenna are over-engineered for their expected power capacity and heat dissipation needs; each was built to handle over 400 kilowatts of power at maximum. '''SCP-1345-B''' is a widespread memetic phenomenon, manifesting in culture as a conspiracy theory regarding a non-existent event known as the Philadelphia Experiment. The precise date of official manifestation is impossible to determine, but extensive searches of printed and written media archives show that there is no mention of 1345-B prior to the first test of 1345. Reported knowledge of the Philadelphia Experiment appears to have occurred in multiple individuals in a close time period; these individuals were all living at various locations directly north of 1345-A at the time of its only test. Affected individuals claimed to have knowledge of the Philadelphia Experiment, variously claiming to have witnessed it, read about it in secret United States Navy documentation, or learned about it via other methods; they soon began to contact individuals studying UFOs and other paranormal phenomena.

'''SCP-1350''' is a floating, mobile point of light of unknown origins. The emanating light is not reflected by any known material, but can be perceived by biological organisms or mechanical photosensitive equipment. 1350 and its light pass uninhibited through all known materials regardless of consistency or opacity. It will target and slowly accelerate toward any living creature with a mass greater than 2488 grams. Target acquisition is determined primarily by maintenance of direct observation by a living organism, secondly by proximity of the target and the target's mass. It will cease movement and instantly change targets should the situation change and make another target more favorable according to the criteria. Upon reaching a target, the object moves into the target's brain, whereupon the life functions immediately cease. Regardless of the mass of the target affected, the object immediately increases in volume, base speed, and apparent luminescence by exactly 22.7%. These attributes decrease linearly at a rate of 1.14% per day, until the object reaches a minimum apparent diameter of 0.5cm, minimum base speed of 4kph, and a minimum apparent luminescence of 25,000cd.

Testing of the balloon’s physical durability has been minimal due to the fragile nature of balloons, but it has been concluded that it does not lose helium through its permeable latex membrane. While it does exhibit buoyancy expected from its helium content, the balloon’s movements seem to be unaffected by air currents and lift. If left to float freely, 1367 will begin to maneuver towards the largest gathering of individuals within 480 meters whose mood is mildly positive. Deliberate movement is difficult to detect since the object moves as if it were being pushed about by air current, but tests have since determined that the balloon does not need air to initiate locomotion. When 1367 comes within 4.5 meters of a targeted gathering, auditory abnormalities are heard by all within listening range. The amount of distinct speakers seems to be doubled, as additional voices are heard amongst the group. These voices are invariably in high spirits, and seem to belong to individuals that match the age and vocal patterns exhibited by the majority of those present, though mimicking no group member exactly. Voices heard by subjects include the laughter of children, people chanting "Chug", renditions of "Happy Birthday", moans of sexual activity, pipe organ music, and chants in an unknown language. '''SCP-1368''' is a parasitic, sapient species of humanoids that parasitize composed of a thin hollow layer of contiguous epidermal skin. In their natural state, 1368 are beige of off-white, highly flexible, very strong, and somewhat elastic, similar in consistency and color to the shed of a snake. They are capable of moving in the same manner as a human, as well as slithering on the ground, undulating through water, or fluttering on air currents. Each instance has a long vertical seam on its front which extends from the lower lip to the groin. Their structure lacks eyes, a mouth, and genitalia, having holes in those locations instead. They have no form of nervous cephalization, instead possessing a neural net evenly distributed across their surface. They are generally unable to feel pain and do not need to breathe. An instance of 1368 parasitizes a human host by opening its seam, enveloping the host completely and laying over them like a second skin. Once this is achieved, the seam seals shut and it becomes nearly perfectly transparent, only appearing slightly reflective on camera. 1368 are capable of controlling the movements of their host to a degree, physically forcing their muscles from the outside. 84% of all instances recovered are skilled enough in this regard to control the cardiovascular systems and voices of their hosts, and 5% can control the ocular motions of their hosts. 1368 use human hosts as means to their own ends, though an overall picture of their goals, if any exist, has yet to resolve. Although classified as parasitic due to the distinctly non-mutual nature of the relationship, 1368 do provide minor benefits to their hosts, such as protection from chemical irritants, and treatments of acne, scabbing, and scarring that might otherwise afflict their hosts. Because of this, hosts may become sympathetic to the desires of 1368 instances and agree to assist them. 1368 obtain sustenance from dust, primarily composed of dead skin. Each of 1369’s heads appear to continuously moan in different octaves of the same pitch when a test subject enters the vicinity of the containment area. The sound appears to have a luring effect on observers, who approach 1369, disrobe, and place their heads in an open cavity within 1369's thorax in a process that lasts for one to five hours. During this time, the blood of 1369 circulates through the subject’s circulatory system, completely replacing native blood with that of 1369. Stomach acid and undigested biological matter pass through the base of 1369 by means of an unknown chemical reaction, and expand up to ten times in size into a viscous gray fluid. The fluid is emancipated through an orifice located at the base of 1369, normally coating the surrounding area in a natural setting and remains there for a space of four days. If this fluid is again coated with fluid from a separate feeding, the two fluids will bond and coagulate into heads that mimic the appearance and basic vocalizations of tested subjects.

'''SCP-1371''' is a juvenile axolotl that is fairly durable and capable of withstanding moderate changes in atmosphere and contaminants that would normally harm a member of its species. The amphibian is buoyant in air, capable of 'swimming' upwards distances of approximately 50 meters from the ground, although it spends most of its time on the ground and rarely ascends higher than 1 meter. While airborne, special care should be taken not to apply physical force to the axolotl without intent to hold it, to prevent damage. It is believed that 1371, when affected by an external force that would move it downwards, generates a massive excess of 'buoyancy' to compensate for its displacement.

'''SCP-1372''' is a phenomenon affecting a geodesic segment located along the western longitude and southern latitude of the planet. When a ship approaches 1372 from the east, travelling west, observers onboard the ship will observe a termination of the horizon at a closer distance to their ship, directly facing west more than any other direction. At closer range, the horizon appears to have a physical point of termination, corresponding to what observers describe as an "edge" of the Earth. Other than cognizance of the "edge" and a mild curiosity as to what it looks like close up, no psychological effects are noticed at this stage. Further approach increases the perception of the "edge", whereupon subjects will experience a minor compulsion to continue in spite of any perceived or communicated dangers, while resisting attempts to change their course. Even after removal, subjects will attempt to build or procure a ship and continue towards 1372 regardless of time of separation and in spite of all curative attempts. Any ship that crosses 1372 will disappear from all forms of visual contact. No personnel have been successfully recovered after crossing 1372, and remote probes do not appear to function properly. Thus, the nature of the area entered by ships crossing 1372 is not yet fully understood. On occasion, sailing ships will emerge from 1372, collectively designated '''SCP-1372-1'''. Observation of these ships has shown sails tattered or missing, engines are corroded beyond usability, rudders observed to have been destroyed, and in one case, a large hole below the waterline.

A humanoid animatronic of varying physical characteristics ('''SCP-1377-01''') will make its way from an unknown origin point to an official session of a legislative body, presenting a set of forged credentials identifying itself as a member of that body, and attempting to address the chamber. In all cases, the forged credentials have identified 1377-01 as a representative of a fictitious constituency within that nation's jurisdiction. 1377-01 are composed of living, organic tissue, and bear a loosely analogous resemblance to human beings. The anatomy of 1377-01 varies significantly from that of humans, possessing musculature and connective tissues similar to them, but possess an indeterminate, fleshy mass where a human's thoracic system would ordinarily be. Additionally, 1377-01 have a skeletal structure composed of tissue resembling hardened cartilage. The pain will persist for roughly 20 minutes before suddenly ending, after which the subjects will be irreversibly mentally changed, depending on their biological age. Adults will become unable to experience nostalgia and simple forms of curiosity. Imaginative ability is also dramatically reduced, with more creatively inclined subjects losing the will to create or perform. The subject’s sense of humor will be dulled, no longer allowing a subject to find most humorous situations as such. Prepubescent subjects will be affected more dramatically. After the cessation of the pain, children will become permanently become subdued and highly suggestible, with little interest towards anything not directly related towards physical survival. The affected subjects will no longer show signs of any imaginative ability or creative potential, as well as an extremely stunted capability for learning non-physical, non-critical skills. Emotional response is extremely subdued as well, with individual children losing the will and ability to form bonds with others, react to humorous or depressing situations, or feel any sort of fear response. Subjects report finding themselves awake and standing in a location described in their particular guide upon entering the unconscious state. Despite this, the subject's body does not move or vanish from its original location, and appears to remain unconscious. Surveillance reveals no anomalous activity at the locations the subjects claim to visit. Subjects' reports of their experiences differ, save for the presence of unrealistic and surreal “dream-like” events. The 8% of subjects who do not awake after a period of twelve hours will cease all vital signs after being unconscious for a period of time ranging from thirteen to twenty-four hours. Subjects who awake after having experienced 1397's effects are confused and hostile, and become nervous and upset when questioned about the reality of the perceived events. In addition, subjects express the belief that all of their dreams are in fact real events, accompanied with a fear of said dreams.

'''SCP-1300''' is a dentist's chair that injects whoever sits in it with a paralyzing drug and removes anything foreign from the body.

to:

'''SCP-1300''' is a an old dentist's chair that injects whoever sits in it with a paralyzing drug and removes anything foreign whose anomalous properties originate from the body.hydraulics column underneath it, normally used to control the height of the chair. Should a subject sit in the chair, four mechanical arms with blunted heads emerge from the column base and hover over the body, "scanning" them through unknown means. Upon finding a suitable location, each arm's head releases a number of surgical instruments, including lasers, needles, and tubes. The subject is administered a paralytic agent, after which the arms create small incisions near injection sites and insert a number of tubes inside. The tubes are guided through the subject's body to any foreign objects located within. These include transplanted organs, tumors, lodged objects, pacemakers, deep-brain stimulators, and false teeth. It is unknown how 1300 determines which objects are foreign to the subject's body, but it does not consider objects smaller than approximately 500 micrometers. Upon reaching a foreign object, 1300 will pump an unknown enzyme through the tubes, dissolving the object. The resulting liquid is then drawn back through the tube into 1300, appearing to be inert and nontoxic. Upon removing all identified foreign objects, another fluid agent is pumped inside, which repairs damaged organs, or assumes the shape and function of missing ones. After finishing the process, the tubes retract, and the incisions are closed with surgical lasers. Following the completion of the operation, the arms shut and retreat inside the hydraulics column. The operation is reported to be painless, but some subjects find the paralytic agent and the sensation of the tubes inside their body to be highly unpleasant.

'''SCP-1301''' is a crimson violin that, when active, prevents people from speaking or writing normally.

to:

'''SCP-1301''' is a violin of crimson violin that, when active, prevents people hue, lacking a maker's label or other signs of identification. Upon analysis, it has been found that its strings are made of spider silk, and that its body is composed of a variety of different woods, primarily spruce and maple. '''SCP-1301-2''' is the violin’s bow, constructed from speaking pernambuco wood of a crimson hue identical to 1301. Its ribbon is comprised of black, coarse horsehair, but in all other regards it appears to be of usual construction. 1301 is extremely sensitive to certain kinds of vibrations. If jostled violently or exposed to human voices, it will enter an active state and its strings will sound audibly for 1 to 13 minutes, unless otherwise muffled. Direct exposure to the sound produced will invariably result in contamination. Over 13 hours following initial exposure, individuals contaminated will permanently lose their voices, and be rendered incapable of speech, singing, or whispering. An additional effect of contamination is the loss of written language. While contaminated individuals appear to readily understand written and spoken words, their own attempts to write will instead result in musical notation of varying sophistication. Providing contaminated individuals with computers or other writing normally.aids has only resulted in incomprehensible gibberish. 1301-2 protects individuals holding it from 1301's active state, though it does not reverse the effects of contamination. If the bow is used to produce vibrations from one or more of the violin’s strings, a voice singing the appropriate pitch will emerge instead.

'''SCP-1302''' is an electronic blackjack machine which exhibits only one physically anomalous property, namely that money fed into it cannot be recovered. When 1302 is operated, its function is identical to that of any other electronic blackjack game. Dollar notes of any denomination can be inserted, and winnings recovered in the form of payout tickets (designated '''SCP-1302-2'''). Unlike standard machines of the same type, 1302 can be operated when the credit meter is at zero. A successful wager in these circumstances will result in the payout being transferred to the credit meter, where it can be used for further bets or withdrawn in the form of 1302-2. A loss causes the credit meter to fall into the negative, relative to the amount bet. Further play is possible, allowing the operator to reclaim a positive balance or fall deeper into a negative one. A negative balance can be withdrawn in the same manner as a positive one, though instead of an instance of 1302-2, a black ticket will be printed with no markings but the balance withdrawn, in red, at the center (designated '''SCP-1302-3'''), composed of an unknown material structurally resembling paper. No ink, dyes, or other coloring agents have been detected on any instance of these tickets. An instance of 1302-3 is automatically produced should an operator attempt to leave the general vicinity of 1302 while the credit meter stands at a negative value. Within 21 days of an instance of 1302-3 is dispensed, the person it was issued to will suffer the loss of possessions up to the value of the figure printed upon it. Losses will be experienced only by the person to whom 1302-3 was originally issued, regardless of their current location or ownership. When sufficient losses have been incurred 1302-3 will self-combust.

'''SCP-1303''' is a linked set of eleven natural caverns with one known surface entrance and a series of interconnecting passages. The caverns' sizes range from ten to approximately thirty-seven meters across, reaching a maximum depth of 120 meters below ground level. The location is host to two potentially related phenomena, designated '''SCP-1303-1''' and '''SCP-1303-2''', that constitute the location's anomalous properties. 1303-1 is an intermittent effect consisting of total absence of acoustic transmission within its area. It has been known to occur in every cavern connected to the network, including the entrance, though it exhibits no discernible pattern for manifestations. The phenomenon persists for a variable amount of time, ranging from five minutes to four hours, and its boundaries never extend past those of the cavern it is currently affecting. Within the affected area, no sound waves of any sort can be generated or detected, regardless of whether they would be generated by a source inside the area travelling outward or vice versa. Personnel within 1303-1's area of effect have persistently reported a sensation of being stalked or followed, catching glimpses of something moving out of the corner of their eye and a heightened urge to either flee or turn and confront whatever is there. Due to dependency on minor echoes for balance and orientation, individuals who attempt to flee put themselves at high risk of injury. 1303-2 is an effect similar to 1303-1, though instead of actively suppressing sound waves, the phenomenon completely inhibits any production or detection of visual, infrared, or ultraviolet light, manifesting in every cavern except for the entrance, and persists for anywhere from five minutes to over nine hours. Like 1303-1, it affects living subjects and mechanical devices without otherwise impeding their operation, and only manifests when a living subject is present, though its effects remain for a variable duration after the subject has left its area of effect. From the “outside”, the phenomenon appears to be a solid, opaque black wall, though it has no physical permanence. From the 'inside', no visual input of any kind registers, regardless of the location of the source. While inside an instance of 1303-2, personnel have reported hearing, over the background noise of the cavern, noises that indicate an approaching creature or object of some kind. The exact details of the sounds vary, but in all cases exhibit traits of something or someone approaching the subject at a slow, deliberate pace, and in no instance has any such sound been registered or detected by recording equipment.

'''SCP-1304''' is a form of ritual murder which allows for a fictional character to be brought into reality. Lacking a direct basis in any known culture, the ritual has a lengthy list of requirements which must be performed in a particular order, under specific circumstances. If the ritual is performed within a fictional narrative printed by a major publisher no later than one week after the official release date, a child will be born whose life will almost identically mirror that of the character killed in the ritual, designated '''SCP-1304-1'''. Instances are seemingly unaware of the circumstances of their creation; those who have found or been told about their associated narrative have regarded it as a curious coincidence. Any and all attempts to alter the life of a 1304-1 instance in a way explicitly contradicting the events of the narrative have failed completely.

to:

'''SCP-1305''' is a mammalian creature that creates custom organism with an ovoid body and six multi-jointed legs. It has a single large, flexible jaw located on the front of body, containing a long tongue with a "lure" on the end. When active, 1305 will attempt to hide itself in a dark, enclosed area, such as a cupboard or closet. When it has hidden itself sufficiently, it may release this lure, which most commonly resembles a domesticated animal such as a cat. The lure will usually display behaviors expected of the organism it is imitating, and attempt to bring human subjects to 1305. In most cases, when a subject approaches the lure, it will revert to the shape of a prehensile tongue, wrapping around the subject's body. 1305 will then attempt to bring the subject into its mouth and consume them. As 1305 consumes organic matter, it will create additional lures, which it will send into the structure it inhabits. The lures will be highly audible, especially at times when human subjects are within the structure. In addition, these lures may take the form of subjects 1305 has consumed, primarily taking form of subjects that attract humans so it can eat them.its prey was familiar with.

Instances of 1306-1 generally display properties that would qualify them for containment, including significant deviations from typical avian anatomy or behavior. No instance of 1306-1 has ever been caught, as any attempts made to contain them have resulted in failure from unexpected displays of strength or speed from each bird.

'''SCP-1307''' is a pencil sharpener that forces the hand of whoever sharpens a pencil with it inside it, where it will be shredded.

to:

'''SCP-1307''' is a black electric pencil sharpener that forces with a standard size receiving hole and a loading bay underneath designed to catch shavings. 1307 is activated, either plugged or unplugged, in a similar manner to a conventional sharpener by inserting a standard sized pencil into the hole on the front. Upon inserting a pencil into 1307, the subject will find themselves unable to remove their hands from the pencil. All attempts to pry hands from the pencil will fail, and the only way to remove the individual from contact is amputation. While active, 1307 adheres itself to the surface on which it is located and will not move. Additionally, the pencil becomes completely unbreakable. Once the pencil has sharpened down to the point where the individual's hand is located, 1307 will continue to draw it in, enlarging the hole as far as needed to take in the hand of whoever sharpens a pencil the subject. As the subject's hand is drawn in, it is "sharpened" along with it inside it, where it will be shredded.the pencil, shredding the limb in the process. Despite severe blood loss, subjects are kept alive until the brain is destroyed by 1307, at which point the subject's vital functions cease. 1307 then continues to take in the rest of the body and shred the entirety of the corpse.

'''SCP-1308''' is an a species of organism with skin resembling an ambulatory sheet of human flesh. It skin, capable of flotation through unknown means. The upper surface of 1308 specimens resembles human skin, including body hair, birthmarks, and occasional patches of keratin. The lower surface is known to transport itself by containing smooth, and contains a number of cavities filled with gaseous hydrogen, and by using modified sweat glands capable of excreting '''SCP-1308-1''', a translucent yellow liquid of composition resembling blood plasma. Below the skin, 1308 contains two layers of perpendicularly oriented muscular contractions fibers, an adipose layer, and occasional segments of reinforcing cartilage. The tissues contain a large number of capillaries leading from the surfaces, apparently responsible for gas exchange, towards the central mass, with blood circulation ensured by means of a pattern of involuntary muscle contractions. 1308 appear to flap be sentient, and seem to prefer secluded areas such as abandoned buildings, the vicinity of waste disposal facilities, or maintenance facilities to dwell in. Through specific patterns of muscular contractions, combined with the folding of its body.body, 1308 is capable of emitting melodic sounds, as well as replicating sounds from the environment, with varying intensity. If a human being approaches an instance, it will attempt to envelop and restrain them, and force a significant part of its surface under their clothing, such that it is in contact with bare skin. Subsequently the glands on the surface of 1308 will excrete 1308-1, which rapidly penetrates human skin, and within three minutes of application, causes permanent dissociation of intercellular bonds in animal tissues. Once this has taken place, 1308 will proceed to slowly absorb the tissue and reintegrate it into its body mass, a process which has been observed to take between 3-7 hours.

'''SCP-1309''' is the town of Kleinberg, South Dakota, which has a population of approximately 2,300. The town's inhabitants are amicable and are generally receptive to questions from Foundation personnel. Kleinberg is effectively locked in a looping period of time within the 1920's. Observation has determined that events do not repeat with each cycle, and inhabitants retain all memories and experiences between cycles. It has been determined that the period of time is 3,289 days long, extending from February 5th, 1920 to August 19th, 1928. The only constant events in each cycle are the inhabitants' perceptions of time, and all outside news received in Kleinberg via radio broadcasts or newspapers. Newspapers and radio broadcasts received are consistent with documentation from that time period, and repeat on the correct dates. Observation has determined that if an inhabitant attempts to leave Kleinberg, they will dematerialize at the edge of the town, and immediately materialize on the opposite side. The inhabitants typically show no desire to venture outside of their town, often stating they are content with life.

Room 10 enters an active state when the door to the room is closed for a span of 5 minutes and 43 seconds after its door is closed, and seconds. After that time has passed, a human being will emerge from the room, having been generated within its confines. '''SCP-1311''' is a phenomenon that induces cases of sudden, severe body integrity disorder (the belief that part of an individual’s body is not actually theirs) in people with no previously recorded history of said condition. In most instances, 1311 affects the perception of one’s limbs, though in some cases, fingers, ears, eyes, teeth, and even organs have also been subject to the condition. As with most cases of body integrity disorder, the majority of subjects infected with 1311 have attempted to self-amputate or remove affected parts of the body themselves, resulting in death. In the cases where a minor part of the body is targeted and successfully amputated, all sufferers have expressed a profound feeling of relief at its removal. Outbreaks of 1311 always happen in groups of four individuals. There is no identified source for the outbreaks, although those suffering from the condition always have some link between them.

The entities show limited intelligence and are docile until they become aware of the presence of an object or organism foreign to the site. At this point, they will take the object or organism and contain it utilizing the facilities already present. In cases where the foreign presence is an organism, they will subdue it first by rendering it unable to move or unconscious. These humanoid entities are divided into three separate types, designated '''SCP-1312-1''', '''-2''', and '''-3''' respectively. 1312-1, colored solid white, will engage in acts which are assumed to be attempted experimentation with objects or individuals which have been captured, as well as writing documentation regarding said objects and individuals. 1312-2, colored solid black, appear to capture and subdue foreign objects and individuals. '''SCP-1313''' is a mathematical equation to which the answer happens to be a single female grizzly bear. The equation itself does not appear to be inherently anomalous, but rather than producing a real number, 1313 resolves to produce a physical, and frequently enraged, grizzly bear. The resolution does not have to be physically represented, and simply considering the problem long enough to arrive at the solution has resulted in a bear's manifestation around the subject solving it. 1313 does not require any particular mathematical ability beyond a basic understanding of elementary algebra to comprehend, but all steps of the sequence must be completed in order to reach the correct answer.

'''SCP-1314''' is a set of mathematical equations describing physical behaviors in a simulated universe, the initial conditions of which are stored in '''SCP-1314-B''', a string of hexadecimal digits interspersed with memetic triggers. When read by a sapient organism, 1314 causes a memetic effect dependent on the logical and spatial-temporal reasoning skills of the exposed subject. They are implanted with a desire to search for a copy of 1314-B, similar to the effect of standard memetic obsession agents. This effect is reduced after separation from 1314 and decays entirely after approximately 8 hours without exposure. If they have been exposed to 1314 more recently than this, then the subject enters a state of deep concentration, during which they decrypt the information stored in 1314-B. The instructions for decryption of 1314-B are stored in the memetic triggers. Subjects report obsession with mentally simulating the universe described by 1314, which has been reported as extremely distracting as they will favor sitting and thinking over all other tasks. The simulated universe is three-dimensional and operates under discrete time and spatial dimensions. Light and air do not exist, heat transfer is simulated via a modified version of caloric theory, and gravity and collisions are simulated according to Newtonian physics. Objects within this universe are either spheres or polyhedrons, the former approximately 3 orders of magnitude larger than the latter.

When used in an NES, a black screen appears, displaying nothing but a simple menu with the option for a single player or a two-player mode. Pressing the Start button on either of the options advances to another screen, where the game asks to confirm whether the persons currently holding the controller are those who wish to play the game. If "Yes" is selected, the game proceeds to beep loudly and then display a blank red screen. At this point, the player will be subjected to a series of increasingly horrific "challenges" that apparently manifest in the physical world. While players will report being chased by monsters from the game, it appears, to the best of the Foundation's knowledge, that these elements of the "game" are only visible to them, and do not exist for other people who happen to be in the same area. Each time a "challenge" is won, the game will inform the player of the objective for the next, and then the game will continue. The game's manual claims "the fun never ends" and does not specify how many "challenges" must be completed to win the game. Once the "game" has begun, it cannot be halted until the player either wins or is defeated. Turning the console off simply renders the player unable to receive hints from the game, and physically leaving the area in which the game is set up simply causes the phenomena manifested by the game to follow the player elsewhere.

Adding dyes can change the skin tone, and it is possible to mold and adjust the 1317 in a manner similar to clay without causing harm. If the user does not continue to apply 1317, the affected tissue will lose its cohesion over the next five weeks, which leads to the user experiencing potentially fatal trauma.

'''SCP-1318''' is a spontaneously occurring phenomenon found in an estimated 0.0001% of specimens of Norwegian Brown Rat. Instances are indistinguishable from other specimens in size, intelligence, appearance, and lifespan. Humans spending 20-80 cumulative hours in close proximity to a specimen begin believing the rat is sapient and capable of speech, an expert in their field of employment, that the specimen is a subject-matter expert in their field of employment, and that their "best ideas" originate from conversations. While affected persons report that they hear the 1318 specimen speaking, review of recordings of such "conversations" reveal that affected persons themselves are subvocalizing the specimen's responses to their queries.

'''SCP-1319''' is a former Foundation research assistant whose body violently split into two entities through unknown means, for an unspecified, albeit angered reason. '''SCP-1319-1''', the upper body, head, and arms, is capable of speech, and moves by pulling himself along the floor by his hands to accommodate for his lack of legs. 1319-1 enjoys the consumption of food, despite the fact that this food inevitably exits its body through the hole in its torso. '''SCP-1319-2''', the lower torso and his legs, has the ability to perceive its surroundings and hear commands given to it by researchers, despite its lack of a head and associated organs. Due to this, communication with 1319-2 is much more difficult than with 1319-1. Neither 1319-1 or 1319-2 possess the original personality of the assistant, and identify as completely different entities. Both harbor intense feelings of resentment for each other, and meetings between them have frequently resulted in violence. During questioning, 1319-1 has indicated that this mutual resentment stems from the circumstances of their 'separation', presumably referring to the incident in which they were created.

They show a unique ability to refract electromagnetic radiation around themselves, giving their forms, most easily identifiable in the fact that light "bends" around them, rendering them somewhat transparent or reflective depending on angles. A side-effect of this anomaly is that individuals are able to seemingly "appear" or "disappear" when not directly in view. 1320 are believed to simply be well-camouflaged and silent by nature, and are able to utilize their anomalous properties as means of evasion. Individuals are humanoid in shape, averaging between 2.7 and 3.2 meters in height. Additionally, the appearance distortion effect that surrounds them makes individuals appear to be between 1 and 1.5 centimeters thick. Despite this, individuals have shown a level of being nearly invisible.physical strength and dexterity roughly equivalent to an average human, save for an ability to shear objects at a near-molecular level. Typically, 1320 are not hostile unless provoked, instead showing an inquisitive nature with small groups gathering around and thoroughly studying any type of object that is new to their habitat, inevitably concluding with individuals cutting the object into successively smaller pieces, even if it is biological in nature. While they appear to lose interest in specific objects within three to four days and will largely ignore repetitive stimulus, similar objects that are sufficiently unique will attract their attention anew.

The journal is dated to the day before Bélibaste's death, and its anomalous properties will manifest when a person touches or reads it in its entirety. When either condition occurs, a list of names appearing at the bottom of 1321 will update, and the subject will usually experience a sense of euphoria and peace, accompanied by vague visions of ethereal imagery. On rare occasions, subjects describe more detailed visions, which always include in some way a human figure attempting to gain entrance to a location, only to be refused. The exact nature of the figure and location changes depending on the subject, and will often take a shape which is in some way familiar to them. Regardless of the vision type, subjects who touch 1321 always react to the experience favorably, and will seek to gain access to 1321 by various means, though they will never resort to violence, even if they have a predisposition to such a behavior.

Matter and energy are capable of passing through in the manner of a traversable wormhole. When lighting conditions near the vicinity of the other side of the portal permit, the space on the other side of the wormhole can be directly observed. The parallel universe that on the other side of the portal has been officially designated '''SCP-1322-A''', although the term "'''Hartle'''" has also been colloquially used. The interior of 1323 resembles a large open field, with permanently cloudy skies. Travel in any direction will result in a return to the main activity space. Each access point is active for 7 to 12 consecutive days at some point during the months of October and November. Located in this field is a fairground, consisting of an exhibition hall, a livestock pavilion, and a sideshow. Interspersed throughout the fairgrounds are a variety of information and ticket kiosks, food stalls, and wandering entertainers. All of the buildings appear to be made of heavily weathered and cracked granite blocks, and non-permanent structures such as game stalls are typically constructed of aged wood, threadbare cloth, and lightly corroded non-ferrous metals. The exhibition hall contains a large array of homemade entries into various competitions. Categories have included quilts, jams and jellies, photography, swords and daggers, gemstone statuary, watercolor paintings, embroidery, and musical instruments. The livestock pavilion is separated into quarters, each containing a different category of animal. In addition to the judged competitions for best example of each animal category, there are irregular exhibition demonstrations involving the animals, such as trick riding, obstacle courses, and death matches. The sideshow consists of a variety of games, rides, and attractions. These include standard attractions such as ring-toss, bobbing for apples, skee-ball, carousels, Ferris wheels, and mirror mazes. The food stalls sell typical food, such as roasted poultry legs, deep-fried sweets, cotton candy, caramel apples, beer, and lemonade. The employees of the fairground itself possesses many are each dressed in clothing and costumes consistent with styles from the early 20th century. The egg will develop over the course of the Holy Week, until early morning of Easter holiday. Sunday, when it will detach from the frog’s back. Most cases of 1325 have been in countries where the vast majority of the population celebrates Easter, and does so on the date of the first full moon after March 21st. The hard, protective shell of the egg consists of a thick layer of a substance identical in taste, appearance, and texture to chocolate, presumably to promote human consumption. Inside the egg is a cluster of small, jellylike eggs which are nourished and sustained by the yolk sac and albumen. When eaten, these chocolate the egg is fully developed and ready to detach, Easter Frogs will seek out sites where they are likely to attract human consumption before depositing it. Over the following 10 to 12 days, the tadpoles will feed on the partly digested food in the eater's stomach.stomach as they grow and metamorphose into mature frogs. During this period, the human host will likely experience abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, and loss of appetite to varying degrees of severity. They will also secrete large volumes of mucus in order to lubricate their passage through the esophagus.

This key is the only method of opening the book, as attempts to utilize picks or replicas to open it have failed. The content of 1326 appears to be an encyclopedic collection of various works and articles on a number of topics. The nature of these works varies between known authors, altered versions, or unidentified works covering unknown material, some of which may be related to [=SCPs=] under or out of Foundation custody. The content housed in the book may be changed by inputting "index numbers" via the dials on the book's front cover. These numbers do not appear to follow any sort of classification system, as no correlation has been found between the index values and the contents they yield. If 1326 is brought within one meter of another book or written document, the arms on its cover will begin moving of their own accord in order to line up the lenses with the document in question. Once aligned, the lenses will emit a blue light and "scan" the document for approximately 5 seconds, then return to their original positions. Testing has confirmed that this behavior is a means for the book to acquire new information, which will be presented in readable format under an apparently random index designation. How 1326 is capable of identifying sources of information is unknown, though staff theorize it may possess a certain degree of sentience.

These altered maps will not show 1328 as being geographically attached to these nations, showing its physical location within the U.S. Affected documents will usually go into detail about how it was an important part of the nation's cultural history. Persons reading these documents will be convinced of its status and history, often attempting to show as many other subjects as possible and spreading 1328's effect. Affected subjects may begin identifying themselves as residents of 1328, and attempt to navigate to it overland. No matter how far the subject originally was from 1328, they will arrive in one of its cities hours after departure. Observation of affected subjects shows that they and whatever vehicle they are operating appear to fall into a chasm which suddenly emerges below them, followed by an emergence in 1328. Subjects from different nations may encounter each other, which can cause confusion and anger due to 1328's effect. Subjects will describe 1328 as a disputed territory and insist that their nation has a stronger claim to it. This effect has led to local conflicts, as affected subjects attempt to terminate all individuals with perceptions that conflict with their own.

Due to the obvious variances in personal use, this dormant period may be a few seconds to the theoretical functioning lifespan of the phone. 1333 has been found disguised as a multitude of mobile applications, including navigation, social networking, entertainment, music, productivity, and others. The entity appears to affect any person who uses the program, regardless of ownership of the phone containing it. Though otherwise physically unremarkable, he exhibits heterochromia, possessing one dark brown eye and one green eye, and does not appear to age. 1338 is able to communicate using simple English, and has demonstrated a talent for climbing trees. He is able to use plant matter to create substances with certain healing properties, though these substances only retain their abilities while within his presence. While analysis of the produced substances has revealed no anomalies, 1338 has shown skill in curing various ailments, including headaches, eye irritation, and upset stomachs. Shallow cuts treated by 1338 heal completely after an average of four minutes, and subjects receiving care from 1338 report feeling no pain when the cures are applied. 1338 favors a forest in the Appalachian Mountains as a place of residence, his health having deteriorated while he was briefly being brought into containment.

'''SCP-1339''' is a police badge with no markings of a police department or rank. When the badge is fastened to the clothing of a human being, they will be convinced that any actions they observe or commit are entirely justified. When asked about events, the subject will always rationalize and defend the action. Assessments of motor skills, problem solving, and cognitive abilities have all proven that the badge does not impair mental facilities. Once 1339 is removed from the subject, they will immediately feel large amounts of guilt and depression, even if they committed no morally or ethically wrong actions while wearing it. In a majority of cases where psychiatric or amnestic treatment is not received, the subject will commit suicide, often confessing to unknown crimes in suicide notes.

'''SCP-1340''' is a species of cave-dwelling electroceptive manta ray, specimens of which are distinguishable by large triangular pectoral fins, horn-shaped cephalic fins, large terminal mouths, lack of pigmentation, and a pair of vestigial eyes. 1340 also possess two large electrocyte organs on each side of their heads, where current passes from the lower to the upper surface of the body allowing bioelectrogenesis to occur. 1340 uses this feature to communicate, utilizing electrical signals of varying voltage, amperage, and frequency. By deciphering and calibrating this electrical activity into spoken, the Foundation has realized that all instances of 1340 are sapient and highly social. The colony in Foundation captivity, consisting of 118 males, has been revealed to function as a council that hold meetings of a parliamentary nature. These meetings are used by the colony to regularly discuss business and current events in an open forum, as well as employing guards to subjugate individuals that act out of line in the colony’s beliefs.

'''SCP-1341''', known as '''"Jungle in a Jar"''', is a jar filled with anomalous soil that will cause all matter of tropical, jungle-like plants to grow.

to:

'''SCP-1341''', known as '''"Jungle in a Jar"''', '''SCP-1341''' is a mason jar made of red glass, the words "JUNGLE IN A JAR" being stenciled on the lid with black acrylic paint. Removing the lid when 1341 is outside of an enclosed space has no anomalous effect. If the lid is removed while indoors, 1341 will begin to exude soil from the opening at 10kg per minute. The soil will be continuously produced until all available space in the room is filled with this soil, to a depth of at least ten millimeters. Once the soil has reached this depth, several anomalous soil that will cause all matter species of tropical, jungle-like plants will begin to grow.grow. Plants produced by 1341 superficially resemble species found in tropical rain forests, though DNA testing has shown that they do not correspond to any known species. The plants will continue to grow until they have achieved the maximum size the area will allow, taking a maximum of three days to reach full maturity. Once mature, they are resistant to temperatures of up to 500 degrees Celsius, as well as all kinds of chemical defoliants. When the maximum amount of space the plants can take up is filled, several trees will begin to grow fruit, which will fall from the trees and split open two to three weeks later, allowing '''SCP-1341-2''' to emerge. 1341-2 are juvenile organisms known which vaguely resemble simian bipeds. They exhibit behavior patterns consistent with those of wild chimpanzees, and are not hostile unless provoked. When the population has reached between twenty and thirty, the area affected by 1341 will expand to fill the largest enclosed space possible. The root structure of the plants within will spread through the walls, ceiling, and floors of any artificial structure it has been placed within. New plants will begin to grow from these root structures, until 1341 has completely assimilated the structure.

'''SCP-1343''' is a sealed concrete container initially buried in a California hillside. Attempts to drill through it have resulted in a series of severe traffic collisions. '''SCP-1343-1''' is a severely damaged 1955 Ford Thunderbird. The vehicle has been sighted periodically in active highway tunnels adjacent to 1343. It manifests on April 7 each year at approximately 2:45, and it has appeared on other occasions when 1343 has been disturbed. In a typical sighting, 1343-1 appears when a witness rounds a turn into the tunnel, at which point drivers have described the vehicle accelerating toward them while engulfed in flames. Believing a head-on collision to be imminent, most witnesses react by swerving into the tunnel's walls or into oncoming traffic.

'''SCP-1344''' are a collection of anomalous goggles that contain needles that enter the eyes of whoever puts them on.

to:

'''SCP-1344''' are a collection five pairs of goggles of various types, including those used in swimming, aviation, welding, paintball, and a handcrafted pair designed in a style similar steampunk culture. All 1344 instances contain two hollow, telescoping needles hidden in recesses in the frame, each hidden on one side of the frame. The goggles will show no anomalous behavior unless worn by a living human being. After approximately 5 seconds, both needles will extend and pierce the subject's eye, embedding themselves in the optic nerves. Though this process does not appear to cause any physical pain or discomfort in the subject, the psychological repercussions are as expected. Unless sedated, subjects will invariably attempt to remove the goggles that contain from their face. If allowed to proceed with removal, a subject will extract their eyeballs in their entirety from ocular orbit. Once successfully removed, both needles retract, releasing the subject's eyeballs. Safe removal of 1344 is only possible through an invasive medical procedure that enter leaves the eyes of whoever puts them on.patient blind.

Affected individuals claimed to have knowledge of the Philadelphia Experiment, variously claiming to have witnessed it, read about it in secret United States Navy documentation, or learned about it via other methods; they soon began to contact individuals studying UFOs and other paranormal phenomena.

to:

'''SCP-1346''' is an underground hallway that causes anyone who attempts to navigate it to become irrationally terrified a cement corridor, 3.5m by 3.5m and 130m in length, located in the subbasement of a former research center. The entrance is marked by a heavy steel door, 3.5 meters wide and almost 45 cm thick, and an identical door sits closed at the opposite end of the hallway. The passageway itself is seamless, having no other doors, windows or alcoves. The ceiling has regular lighting placements. Due to the corridor’s effects, everything past 60 meters has proven impractical to maintain, rendering the last half of the corridor dark and in disrepair. The corridor's anomalous nature manifests at approximately 50-60 meters along its length. Shortly after crossing the 50-meter threshold, electronic devices begin to malfunction. At about the same point, subjects report hearing clicking, tapping, and other mechanical sounds not from any clear source. During this period, subjects start to report feelings of apprehension, which intensify the longer they remain in the passageway, and the further along it they traverse. Eventually, a fear or dislike the subject harbors will begin to manifest into a fully-fledged phobia. Subjects may begin to hallucinate, imagining the presence of some entity or condition drawn from their psyche. At around 90-100 meters, or if more than 10 minutes have been spent in the anomalous zone, the subject becomes overwhelmed with fear, attempting to retreat from it.the passageway as quickly as circumstances will allow. In most subjects, the feelings of fear and anxiety subside immediately upon exiting the corridor.

'''SCP-1347''' is a 20cm pine box with a hinged lid, as well as a slit on one side measuring seven centimeters by one centimeter. The phrase "All answers are born from questions." is written below the slit in black ink. The box’s anomalous properties will only become active in the event that a written question or inquiry is inserted into the slot. When the inquiry is sufficiently simple to answer, a Type A event occurs, wherein the item on which the inquiry was written disappears, replaced by an identical object with the inquiry being replaced by 1347's reply. 1347 gives a reply to every inquiry, regardless of its nature. A Type B event takes place when the inquiry inserted is complex or thought-provoking. These events will have 1347 manipulating events in the real world to perform an experiment which will provide it with the information to formulate a reply to the inquiry. Depending on the nature of the input, the experimentation varies. Once the experiment is over, the reply will appear in a manner identical to that of the appearance in a Type A event. There is no known limit to 1347's capabilities while a Type B event is in progress.

'''SCP-1348''' is a cave complex beneath the Jabal al-Druze Mountains where a ritual can be performed. The ritual itself causes people to obsess about it, and is possibly known to contain something related to Allah.

to:

'''SCP-1348''' is a modified cave complex beneath located 81 kilometers from the Jabal al-Druze Mountains where mountains in El Taebah, Syria. in Israeli air strikes on the site after discovery resulted in the additional discovery of three unknown chambers. SCP-1348-01 was an anomalous humanoid observed performing a ritual can be performed. The practice of unknown provenance inside the complex, which died shortly after being taken into custody. SCP-1348-02 is the above-mentioned ritual itself causes people to obsess about it, practice, spoken portions of which are performed in an unknown Southern Semitic language. When adequately performed by individuals meeting unclear ritual criteria, 1348-02 prevents full retraction of the veil surrounding SCP-1348-03, the central chamber of the complex. When performed by appropriate celebrants, performances of 1348-02 induce suggestibility, religious mania, and a desire to perform the ritual practice, with repeated exposure resulting in ritually-themed obsessive compulsion. Due to high neutron flux, 1348-03 was originally believed to be a storage site for high-grade radioactive waste. Initial investigation of the chamber revealed an elaborate rectangular chamber, decorated in a proto-Semitic style. In the center of the room is possibly known a raised platform with a 9-meter radius, surrounded by cylindrical sheath constructed of beryllium bronze. At dawn, noon, and dusk, the sheath retracts, causing the neutron flux inside 1348-03 to contain something related increase to Allah.lethal levels. Performing 1348-02 appears to provide celebrants with substantial protection against radiation poisoning, and results in a complete closure of the outer sheath. It has been theorized that this occurs because the ritual affects a powerful being in the complex, emitting untold levels of radiation.

!![[https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1349 SCP-1349]] - Stomach Bug
'''SCP-1349''' is a variant of the forest caterpillar hunter beetle. These beetles do not pass the larval stage, but grow to be between approximately 5 and 15cm. Their saliva is slightly corrosive and causes an acute allergic reaction on the skin of a living organism upon contact. If 1349 bites a living organism, it injects a chemical compound into the bloodstream. This compound induces marked changes in the reproduction and characteristics of the cells in the mucous membranes of the stomach, triggering the growth of multiple neoplasms after a period of four to six days, which function as miniature stomachs. These growths are connected to the digestive tract by several vessels leading back to the main stomach of the subject, and initially aid in the digestive process. Any organism bitten by 1349 is labeled as '''SCP-1349-1'''. The growths will begin to spread to the intestinal tract of the subject after an additional three days. In 35% of cases, these micro-stomachs will also begin to spread to the esophagus and lungs of the subject, effectively drowning them in gastric acid. After approximately fourteen days from the initial growth, the digestive tract will begin to overflow with gastric acid, causing the stomach to rupture and cause death, the gastric acid reducing a large portion of the body to slurry.

'''SCP-1342''' is a duplicate of the Voyager 1 probe sent by the '''Gliscian''', an extraterrestrial race driven to near extinction. Much like Earth's version of Voyager 1, 1342 contains a gold disc containing footage and audio of the Gliscian civilization. A message from the Gliscian themselves reveals that they found the actual Voyager 1 long ago, and the music contained in its gold disc led to a cultural revolution for their world. They have sent 1342 as a heartfelt "thank you" to mankind.

'''SCP-1481''' is a tragic tale of just how immoral humankind can act in the face of the anomalous. It is a plastic coffee cup that houses '''SCP-1481-1''', a genie with the appearance and mannerisms of a drug addict. Through interviews, the genie explains that he became what he is now after a heartless person found his cup, used his first wish to wish him in his current state, then used his second wish to render the first wish irreversible and just walked away. Ever since then, 1481-1 ends up screwing up whatever wishes he is assigned to grant, and largely spends his time conjuring food for himself.
