* OutGambitted: Lightning has Roglcaier use Hail, activating its Ice Cloak ability to make it almost impossible to hit. But Flash knew Lightning would try that, so he sent out Springer, knowing that Springer could track Roglcaier through its aura, meaning he can find him and land hits no matter how well Roglcaier hides. After Springer manages to get rid of the hailstorm with Aura Sphere, Lightning was expecting a move like that and had Roglcaier freeze Springer with Blizzard when he was vulnerable afterwards, only for Springer to quickly break out thanks to Flah giving him orders via their aura bond, ultimately resulting in Springer defeating Roglcaier.

Added DiffLines:

* BatmanGambit: Flash knows Lightning and his team well enough to know that he would use Roglcaier's Ice Cloak ability right off the bat, so he sent out Springer, knowing he can sense Roglcaier's aura and hit it no matter how well it hides in the hail.

Added DiffLines:

* TemptingFate: Lightning brags after beating three of Flash's team that he can tell Flash and his Pokémon are still worthless. After he says this Flash proceeds to win the next two battles, defeating Pitchawk and Roglcaier. Additionally, Lightning completely dismisses Riptide as a threat once again when he is sent out, only for him to be the one to defeat Pitchawk.

* StatusEffects:
** Prongs gets poisoned by Venomega using Cross Poison on him. But this also helps him since he can now touch him without worrying about Poison Point.
** Riptide freezes the river on the battlefield, causing Pitchawk's entire lower half and one of his wings to get frozen. Though when Riptide lands a Rock Smash on him it shatters the ice, freeing him.
** Springer also gets frozen solid by Roglacier's Blizzard attack, but Flash manages to speak to Springer through the aura and gets Springer to break free by using his aura to blast the ice apart.
** Hopper gets poisoned by Venomega's Poison Point ability after he lands an Iron Tail on him.
* WorfHadTheFlu: Doc thinks part of the reason Viper lost to Venomega was he was more exhausted from his battle with Androrg than they previously thought.
