Diane tells Ron she is pregnant, and he proposes to her. They decide to get married right now, and on the way to the fourth floor they run into Leslie and April, recruiting them as witnesses.
One month later, Leslie is feeling down about the recall attempts. Nothing she has done so far has impressed Pawnee's citizens. To cheer her up, April informs her that she won an award that April nominated her for. It's an award for women in government, and the ceremony is in London.
One month later, Leslie, April, Ben, Andy, and Ron are in London. Ben and Andy are to meet with a wealthy aristocrat who might donate to the Sweetums Foundation, and Ron was supposed to be here on his honeymoon with Diane, but she developed morning sickness and suggested he go anyway.
Ben and Andy meet with Lord Edgar Covington. He and Andy hit it off immediately, and Ben has a hard time keeping both their minds on the business at hand. When Andy tells Covington that their charity is great, Covington immediately agrees to donate, but requests that Andy stay in London for a few months to help him out.
Leslie learns that Pawneeans are judging her for being in London instead of Pawnee, so at her award ceremony, after seeing other women talk about how wonderful and grateful their towns are, Leslie accuses her citizens of being ungrateful. Unfortunately, Jerry had live-streamed her speech, and the citizens of Pawnee heard it.
Andy isn't sure about staying in London, but April convinces him. Leslie, before leaving for home, gives Ron a wedding gift - an itinerary for him to follow.
Tom enlists Donna's help to find out who is the owner of the competing business across the street. He gets the address and bursts into a doctor's office to find - Chris and Ann, and Dr. Saperstein - Jean-Ralphio's father. Chris and Ann are getting an ultrasound of their unborn child, and all three are at first amused when Dr. Saperstein explains that his actions against Tom are because of the way Tom has treated Jean-Ralphio and Mona-Lisa. But then they realize Dr. Saperstein is serious. Later, Tom meets with his friends and their father; Jean-Ralphio admits to his father that Tom has been a great friend, but Dr. Saperstein is now making too much money off his business to quit.
Back in Pawnee, April cheers up Leslie by reading to her the application April sent in for the award, praising Leslie's hard work and dedication.
Ann and Chris tell everyone they are pregnant and are disappointed by the reactions - until Leslie gets back from London and they tell her.
As Ron follows Leslie's itinerary, it leads him to the Lagavulin distillery in Scotland.
