Sylvanas upholds her part of the deal by ordering Baine to become the new Warchief after Vol'jin's death. Meanwhile, we learn that her benefactor is Tyrande and Malfurion's daughter, Aen'da (aka Galadwen) Whisperwind, who goes dimension-hopping and eventually stumbles upon the Magix Dimension and, from afar, the Winx Club. Some time later, Sylvanas adopts a baby Iladris, the daughter of the crazed (Elven) Aspect of Fire.

\n----* StrangerInAFamiliarLand: PlayedForLaughs. Galadwen returns to Teldrassil after an absence of 500 hundred years; her sudden teleportation to the place causes the alarms to fire off as they are no longer tuned to identify her as a Kaldorei citizen. The Moon Priestesses and Shandris panic at what they think is a hostile intrusion; once the latter recognizes her, she's exasperated beyond measure. Galadwen merely laughs in response. It's {{downplayed}} as the night elves are long-lived creatures, so they do remember who Galadwen is and their society hasn't changed that much--Galadwen's only grip is that they are serving the (in comparison) short-lived humans instead of leading the Alliance with their experience.
-->'''Shandris:''' ¡Serás idiota, Aen'da! Te desapareces por casi medio milenio, y sólo apareces para asustar. Elune, dame paciencia para soportarte.[[labelnote:Translation]]You idiot, Aen'da! You disappear for almost half a millennium and only show up to give us a scare. Elune, give me the patience to bear with you.[[/labelnote]]

* ImprobableTaxonomySkills: Galadwen refers to every human population she's ever met during her interdimensional travels as ''Homo sapiens'' even though she hasn't visited Earth's dimension yet nor she's the kind of character to bother to study human phylogenetics that much. Galadwen has a curious and even scientific disposition most of the time, however, she's also a {{Fantastic Racis|m}}t biased against all non-elves and finds humans too brutish and violent for her interests. All in all, her qualifying all humans as hominids in the ''sapiens'' genre is more of a shortcut to showcase how, from her perspective, human beings are all the same.

* HowWeGotHere: The first four chapters are devoted to partially explaining why Altalune and Trisha have concluded that time travel is the only way to fix things. This chapter shows the first contact between Magix and Azeroth; 100 years after Sylvanas is restored to life, Galadwen has been dimension-hopping nonstop seeking for potential allies. This leads her to eventually stumble on Magix, where she immediately detects the powerful magical aura of the Dragon's Flame, of which the bearer at the time is Queen Marion of Domino, pregnant with either of her daughters. 24 years later, she goes there again, where she sees the Winx being interviewed about Earth's newly-restored magic.

* {{Epigraph}}:{{Epigraph}}: Another unattributed quote that makes reference not to the central theme but to the main characters' wants throughout the plot. They all wish to preserve all the fragile, loved things or people they lost in a previous timeline thanks to the chaos brought by the Burning Legion. In Trisha, Altalune, and Stacy's cases, it's their mothers. For Galadwen, the aim is to prevent as much destruction as possible by eradicating the demons with a united elven front.

* HappilyAdopted: It's revealed by Galadwen's narration that Sylvanas wished to create her own family before Arthas brutally killed her. So, when Sylvanas lays her eyes on the (Elven) Aspect of Fire's baby daughter, she immediately decides to adopt her--it helps that a bronze dragon just threatened to kill the (time) 'anomaly'. Little Iladris Windrunner is brought to the Undercity and lovingly raised by Sylvanas and her most trusted Dark Rangers. Bloom notes that Sylvanas' cold demeanor softens when she speaks with Iladris.
