* FirstWorldProblems: Macy complains that her father never let her look at the prized comic book and will instead give it away to the competition winner, despite having gotten plenty of other expensive presents from him. * TheKnightsWhoSaySquee: Macy and Robin need one look at the ''Ned Knightly'' comic to start geeking out over it. Though it's unclear if Robin planned to enter the cosplay competition to win it before learning what the prize would be, it's not unreasonable to assume he only did it for the sake of the comic.

This one wasn't actually wearing a Jestro costume.

* LesCollaborateurs: The Jestro cosplayer seems a little ''too'' eager to serve the real Jestro, even though he appears to be aware that the monsters attacking the con are the real deal.

** The villains actually exploit this trope: due to many Knight-a-con visitors being dressed up as Jestro and monsters, they hope to blend in with them, and it actually works, with not even Lance recognizing the real Jestro.

King Halbert orders the Knights, accompanied by his personal squirebot Haute Fancypants, to deliver a special package to Knight-A-Con in Bookingham and to guard it once they arrive. On their way to the Con the Knights are attacked by Jestro and the Book of Monsters who plans to consume the package. The Knights get away and Fancypants reveals that the package is a first edition copy of a Ned Knightly comic book which is to be given away as a prize to the winner of the con's costume contest. Robin is also attending the convention using his newly designed Mini-trex (a miniature version of the Fortrex).

Jestro and the Book of Monsters are outside the Con with General Magmar discussing what they should do about the comic book. Magmar wants to go in and grab the book using his siege tower but the Book of Monsters thinks this is a bad idea, saying that in all the confusion the comic book could get lost. Ultimately Jestro decides that he and the Book will infiltrate the Con, guessing that no-one will recognise them amongst all the cosplayers.

The Knights do their best to guard the comic but keep getting distracted. Lance goes off to run his own stall leaving a cosplayer in his place, Aaron and Axl are more interested in playing Kastles and Kobolds, and Clay keeps getting [[HandbagOfHurt beat up]] by old ladies. Meanwhile Jestro also gets distracted from look for the comic after seeing his idol, the has-been comedian Jokes Knightly.

When General Magmar gets impatient with Jestro's plan to blend in at the Con, he launches an all out attack on Knight-A-Con which causes the comic book to get lost in a crowd of terrorized attendees. Fortunately, the Mini-trex is able to extend the range of the Nexo Knights' connection to Merlok 2.0, allowing them to obtain their Nexo Powers and find the book. Because of this, Robin wins first prize at the costume contest and thus, he and the Nexo Knights get to keep the comic.

!!This episode contains examples of the following tropes:
* HandbagOfHurt:
** After getting annoyed at a child and his friends who were dressed as Jestro and his monsters, Clay gets hit with this by the kid's grandmother.
** He then gets hit again by another child's mother after discovering that the Lance guarding the comic book was merely a kid in a costume.
* KissingTheGround: Fancypants does this after Jestro's initial attack.
