* MoralDissonance: When Draggle is depressed because she can't do evil magic right, the ponies promise to teach her how to use good pony magic if she'll set them free. After seeing some demonstrations via song, Draggle agrees to let them out... and they trap her in a net, mock her and wander off. This is especially notable because, earlier in the episode, Morning Glory successfully redeems Queen Bumble's second-in-command Sting by teaching him how to fly properly, which causes him to become an ally. However, this is mitigated by how, after the ponies are recaptured and Hydia and Reeka berate Draggle for her incompetence, they defended her by admitting their fault in this debacle.

* HeelFaceTurn: Subverted, at first it looks as if ponies were trying to get Draggle on their side by teaching her some good magic... and then it turns out it was just a ruse to get her to let them out and then fall in her own trap.

In Bumbleland, the bees are still trying to get the Sunstone out of the hole it's in. Megan arrives to rescue the flutter ponies, and decides to first try to see if Queen Bumble can be convinced to let her prisoners go. She refuses, predictably enough, and another fight breaks out. This quickly turns against the heroes, and Megan, Morning Glory, Sting and the green furbob end up trapped under a very conveniently placed falling cage.

In Flutter Valley, the trapped ponies talk Draggle into letting them out of their web by offering to teach her pony magic in exchange. When she frees them, they promptly trap in the web instead and run off… right into a giant sheet of flypaper made to look like a meadow.

Back in the land of bumbles, the flowers have, to Queen Bumble's intense displeasure, run out once more. Before she can get her prisoners back to work, rescue arrives from a very unexpected quarter -- straight down. Honeysuckle the flutter pony has finally emerged from the hole she fell in last episode, and has somehow encountered the stonebacks and convinced them to help her rescue her friends. While the armadillo-like beasts keep the bees occupied, everyone escapes down the hole, while Honeysuckle promises she'll explain the why and wherefores of this alliance later. The furbob, given his people's history with the stonebacks, is however hesitant to follow them down their tunnel. He will need to make up his mind quick, however, as he's soon the last one left topside and the bumble swarm is quickly heading towards him...

!!This episode contains examples of:
* TheCavalry:
** Megan and the others attempt to do this at the beginning, but are quickly captured themselves.
** Honeysuckle and the stonebacks are much more successful at this at the end, charging in in the nick of time to overwhelm the bees and give their prisoners time to escape.
* CliffHanger: The episode ends with the green furbob, still indecisive over whether to go down the stonebacks' hole, glancing back and seeing a swarm of angry bees bearing down on him.
* VillainousRescue: The heroes are saved by the arrival of the stonebacks who, despite having been highly aggressive towards the ponies all episode and the furbobs for much longer, have seemingly been convinced by Honeysuckle to help her rescue her trapped friends from the bumbles.
