* BleepDammit: Vince's tirade in his "Pre-Watershed Spinoff" has the swears dubbed over with tame-sounding phrases by a male voice. The audience can easily infer what Vince is ''actually'' saying, though, since the phrases sound ''awfully'' close to the actual curse words:

The audience can easily infer what Vince is ''actually'' saying, though, since the phrases sound ''awfully'' close to the actual curse words:though:

* CarnivoreConfusion: Kali's birthday meal, a badger, isn't bothered at all by Kali essentially eating her alive. As she puts it, "no sense in letting me go to waste!"
* GoldDigger: Nelson and Destiny develop a relationship that's a bizzare version of this. Destiny plays on Nelson's affections for her to get food and doggie treats, but Nelson genuinely thinks that they're in a relationship. Even Kali spells it out to him that Destiny's playing him for a sap. The moment Nelson runs out of treats, Destiny immediately loses interest and screams at him to get out.

* LaughTrack: Used in Vince's "Pre-Watershed Spinoff", but quickly turns into a Shocked Gasp Track as he descends into a foul-mouthed rant.

to:

* HopelessWithTech: Destiny, having relied on Gary to provide for her, believes that her dog food bowl generates her food for her and her tennis ball needs batteries to work. It takes Nelson, who's more on the up-and-up when it comes to human habits, to show her otherwise.
* JerkassHasAPoint: Kali, of all animals, is the one to tell Nelson that Destiny's using him to get at her food and doesn't actually love him. Nelson denies this, but the moment he runs out of treats, Kali is proven right.
* LaughTrack: Used in Vince's "Pre-Watershed Spinoff", pre-watershed spinoff, but quickly turns into a Shocked Gasp Track as he descends into a foul-mouthed rant.rant.
* LeeroyJenkins: Vince ''attempts'' this on the zombie dogs, throwing open the kitchen door and yelling at them to come at him. They overwhelm him through sheer numbers, requiring Marion, Tim and other animals to shove them back out before they can seriously injure or kill Vince.

* ShoutOut: Vince's "Pre-Watershed Spinoff" is a blatant sendup of ''Series/TheBrittasEmpire''.
* ProtagonistCentredMorality: The dogs may be trying to break into the pub to have sex with Destiny against her will, but Marion and the others show no qualms about killing them as if they were actual zombies and not living beings. Riff-Raff explicitly calls them out on this in "Die, Evil Zombies!", pointing out that ''they're'' the ones using violence against him.
* RevengeBeforeReason: Kali reaches her pinnacle in this episode, where she retaliates against a rickshaw driver for running over her birthday meal by killing him with an IED. Her celebration is cut short, however, when his wife and child come running to the scene.

* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: Upon discovering the rickshaw driver she killed had a wife and child, Kali quickly falls into depression and alcoholism... although the latter is difficult to do without a bendy straw.

to:

* HollywoodTourettes: Vince confides to Marion that he suffers from this, hence his near-constant swearing. Curiously, he doesn't swear when singing classic showtunes, such as "Where is Love?" from ''Oliver!''

* NoCelebritiesWereHarmed: ''Extremely'' averted. The song "Die, Evil Zombies!" is a clear send-up of "The Time Warp" from ''The Rocky Horror Picture Show'', and the lead singer is a dog called Riff-Raff, voiced by Richard O'Brien himself.
* NoodleIncident: When Destiny claims one of the zombie dogs mounted her, Nelson asks if she wanted to sit in the shower and cry for a bit:
-->'''Nelson:''' Because I know that made ''me'' feel a heck of a lot better when Vince-\\
(''Destiny gives him a look'')
* OurZombiesAreDifferent: They're actually just normal dogs who are ''behaving'' like zombies under the influence of Destiny's pheromones. Funnily enough, the song "Die, Evil Zombies!" implies the dogs are knowingly acting like zombies for a laugh, which Riff-Raff calls them out on:
-->'''Dog Chorus:''' ''Come on, everybody, let's do the Zombie!''\\
''Adopt a vacant look and lift up your paws!''\\
'''Riff-Raff:''' Now you're reinforcing a stereotype!\\
This dancing idea is fundamentally flawed!
