* AnAesop: Pets might be a lot of fun, but they also require a lot of work.

* ScaryJackInTheBox: At one point, a jack-in-the box jumpscares Rusty. This is actually a bit of a subversion, as there's nothing inherently creepy or dangerous about the jack-in-the-box- Rusty is just [[LovableCoward Rusty]].

'''Pet Problem'''

Cassie, the owner of a local pet store, calls Manny about a broken lock on a cage. Manny agrees to fix it while Cassie runs an errand- unfortunately, while she's gone, the store's rabbits are accidentally freed from their cage, and with the mess they're making a broken lock is the least of anyone's worries.

!! "Pet Problem" contains examples of:
* AbsurdPhobia: Rusty is revealed to be afraid of bunny rabbits.
* AlliterativeName: Marty the mynah bird.
* AnAesop: Pets might be a lot of fun, but they also require a lot of work.
* BorrowedCatchphrase: At one point, Marty the mynah bird (mynahs have similar vocal mimicry abilities to parrots) copies Pat's catchphrase.
--> '''Marty''': Awk! I'm a hammer! I'm a hammer! Awk!
* BunniesForCuteness: Squeeze is immediately taken by how adorable the pet shop's bunny rabbits are, and starts demanding that Manny get one. However, she quickly changes her tune when the bunnies' EscapedAnimalRampage (see below) shows her how much work having one as a pet would be.
* EscapedAnimalRampage: It's fairly less dramatic than most instances of this trope, but ''man'' do the bunnies make a mess of the pet shop when they escape from their cage.
* EverybodyLaughsEnding: The episode ends with Squeeze giggling joyfully while playing with Fixit, with Manny and the other tools quickly joining in in laughter.
* MetaphorIsMyMiddleName: Felipe does a variation.
--> '''Manny''': Now, all I need is the right tool for the job.
--> '''Felipe''': That's me, Manny! 'Right Tool' is my first name!
--> '''Pat''': [[LiteralMinded Huh. I thought it was Felipe.]]
* NotInFrontOfTheParrot: Near the end of the episode, Manny and the tools have gotten the bunnies back in their cages and cleaned up the mess their EscapedAnimalRampage made. They think Cassie will be none the wiser about their mistake... and then Marty pipes up, mimicking something Rusty had said earlier.
--> '''Marty''': Awk! The bunnies are loose! The bunnies are loose! Awk!
* StockAnimalDiet: Manny and the tools lure the escaped rabbits back into their cages using, of course, big orange carrots.
* WatchWhereYoureGoing: Felipe and Turner crash into each other while chasing a pair of bunnies who were running in opposite directions.

'''Felipe's New Job'''

Manny is called to fix a broken lock on the door of a toy factory, but when he leaves the tools to fetch some replacement parts from Kelly's they can't resist exploring the factory and accidentally power on a dangerous machine. Meanwhile, a lack of any recent need to turn Phillips screws has left Felipe feeling useless, and despondently searching for a new job to perform.

!! Tropes in "Felipe's New Job":
* BillionsOfButtons: The control panel for the machine that makes rubber balls has a rather improbable number of buttons; Squeeze pressing one and then Pat falling on another causes it to go completely haywire.
* ConveyorBeltODoom: One nearly drags Squeeze into the ball-making machine.
* CutTheJuice: Manny eventually manages to stop the out-of-control factory machine by turning off its power supply.
* MyopicArchitecture: The locked box containing the controls to the factory's power supply has its hinges held on with exposed Phillips screws.
* NoOSHACompliance: While not nearly as egregious as most examples of the trope, Laffler's toy factory has some serious safety violations, up to and including an automated factory machine that goes berserk if you press one wrong button on the control panel.
* ScaryJackInTheBox: At one point, a jack-in-the box jumpscares Rusty. This is actually a bit of a subversion, as there's nothing inherently creepy or dangerous about the jack-in-the-box- Rusty is just [[LovableCoward Rusty]].
