Shoe Biz

Early in the morning, Manny receives a call from shoe store owner Sherman- he wants a new sign installed outside his store. Manny is happy to oblige, but when he arrives at Sherman's he realizes Sherman might have bigger problems than just not having a sign.

!! "Shoe Biz" includes examples of:
* BlindWithoutEm: Sherman has this problem, as shown when he loses his glasses for the second time and becomes unable to tell vastly different pairs of shoes apart.
* DreamSue: Felipe gets a double dose of this- he dreams he's a film director (something he's always wanted to do), and the film he was making in his dream is about "a handsome Phillips screwdriver who could fix anything".
* IsItSomethingYouEat: Pat thought "folklórico" (a kind of dance Julieta was taking lessons in) sounded tasty.
* IWasHavingSuchANiceDream: Turner complains of this when awoken by Manny at the beginning of the episode.
--> Turner: You just ruined a perfectly good dream. Kelly was all out of Phillips screws and everyone was throwing out their Phillips screwdrivers. Oh, it was the best dream ever!
* ItsTheBestWhateverEver: At the beginning of the episode, Turner describes the dream he had as having been "the best dream ever!"
* LamePunReaction: Sherman gets one from Turner when the former says he's "soled" on an idea.
-->Sherman: Soled, get it?\\
Turner: Unfortunately, yes.
* LastPlaceYouLook: Sherman continues the long tradition of people being unable to find their glasses when they're on their face.
* AnOddPlaceToSleep: Just like in the last episode, the tools are seen sleeping on Manny's stuffed chair.
* Portmanteau: Squeeze tells Kelly that they were helping Sherman get "storeganized", although in-universe this is either a Malaproper or a mondegreen.
* PunBasedTitle: On "shoe" and "show biz".
* PungeonMaster: Sherman likes to engage in "shoe store humor", much to Turner's annoyance. Here's a sample line:
-->Sherman: Sorry to call you guys so early. I felt like a real [=HEEL=].
* TyopOnTheCover: The Disney+ upload of Handy Manny has this episode mistakenly titled as "Show Biz".

The New Kid

Mr. Ayala, a new resident of Sheet Rock Hills, calls Manny to install a see-saw in his front yard for his son Marcelo to play on. However, when Manny arrives, he discovers that Marcelo has a bit of a problem...

!! "The New Kid" provides examples of the following:
* CatUpATree: Mr. Lopart is seen trying to get Fluffy down from a tree, which she had climbed up in to chase a bird. Being Mr. Lopart, he ends up stuck in the tree himself when his ladder falls over.
* ContinuityNod:
** Manny employs the glue from "A Sticky Fix" to fix a broken guitar.
** Squeeze is referenced as being Manny's newest tool, a fact established in "Big Sister".
* FictionalHoliday: It's apparently "Hooray For Hardware Day", although that might just be something Kelly invented as an excuse to have a sale.
* GoodNewsBadNews: Kelly does a variant, where it's the good news that invalidates the bad news; the bad news is that teeter-totter springs aren't "for sale" at her store, while the good news is that that's because they're free.
* IsItSomethingYouEat: Pat apparently thinks a teeter-totter is a "special kind of potato".
* MotorMouth: Mr. Ayala has a rather pronounced tendency to ramble on if not regularly prompted to get to the point.
* MovingAngst: Marcelo Ayala is upset about having to leave all his old friends behind when he moved; this is quickly solved when he starts making new friends in Sheet Rock Hills.
* NotSoInnocentWhistle: Dusty does one after the tools accidentally break another string on Manny's guitar
* OffscreenInertia: Mr. Lopart gets stuck in a tree with his cat Fluffy after his ladder falls over, and is still stuck in the tree when Manny returns from installing Marcelo's see-saw.
