** Sam is hesitant about the prospect of making a tofu version of green eggs and ham and has to be told by Michellee that he doesn't know whether or not he'll like it until he tries it.
** E.B. is annoyed to find out that Guy is even ''more'' of a stick-in-the-mud than her mother.

* DidNotThinkThisThrough: E.B. climbs into a garooster nest to get her mother's beans back, but as soon as she up there, Guy points out that there's no way to get them ''down''.

* FrothyMugsOfWater: A closer inspection of the Goat's can that he drinks from indicates that the BadGuyBar only serves Fizzy Pop.

* {{Metaphorgotten}}: By way of WhosOnFirst when Guy tells Sam to keep Michellee busy while he goes out to look for E.B.

** When Snerz's personal maestro starts playing "Won't Get Fooled Again," he suddenly sports the same long, curly hair that Music/TheWho's frontman Roger Daltrey had in their heyday.

** Michellee is an overprotective mother who loves puns. Just like [[VideoGame/{{Undertale}} Toriel]].

** Guy briefly channels [[Disney/TheManyAdventuresOfWinnieThePooh Rabbit]], both in his stuttering speech pattern and exaggerated body language, when E.B. accuses him of using her to get in good with her mom. Coincidentally, Guy and Rabbit share a German voice actor in Gerald Schaale.

She doesn't even finish her first sentence before he starts struggling to keep his eyes open, forcing him to use the many cliche practices to combat drowsiness (drinking coffee, doing jumping jacks, painting eyes on his eyelids, etc.). By the time she's finished he's snoring away in a chair. The situation isn't helped by the fact that he and Guy hadn't slept in two days.

Seconds later, he beats up every patron in the BadGuyBar, downs and entire can of beer in one go and crushes the can it by head-butting it against the bar.

* FrothyMugsOfWater: Averted. There's no indication that the patrons at the BadGuyBar ''aren't'' drinking beer.

* BaitAndSwitch: In his first appearance on screen, The Goat looks more like a harmless, weathered old farm animal with old man spectacles and a bit of straw in his mouth. Seconds later, he beats up every patron in the BadGuyBar, downs and entire beer in one go and crushes it by head-butting it against the bar.

* BadassBoast: E.B. and Guy do this to defend themselves against the jeroosters, animals known for being extremely judgmental.

* DidNotThinkThisThrough: E.B. climbs into a jerooster nest to get her mother's beans back, but as soon as she up there, Guy points out that there's no way to get them ''down''.

* AnimationBump: Guy's animation while denying that he's using E.B. to get close to her mother is extremely fluid to emphasize how much he's tripping over himself.
