While the War is long gone, the tragedies created from it still marks the Sky Realm's history to this day. Enter the Jorha, an organization that's willing to do inhumane research in case of a second War. Their captives bond together, dreaming that they'll reach to their ideal place one day.
One day, an unexpected guest in the form of the goblins arrives at the Sky's Sanctum, indirectly breaking out the captives and drawing the crew's attention.

* BrainwashedAndCrazy: Subverted. While Kusuki is very much crazy after being overwhelmed by the goblins, he's only faking his alliance with them so he could take down the Goblin Princess at her weakest moment and avenge the Jorha.
* DestroyTheAbusiveHome: After killing the Goblin Princess, Nectar uses his strength to destroy the Sky's Sanctum.
* GenocideSurvivor: Shinsha, Nectar, Ugusu, Kushina, and Kusuki are the only beings left from the Sky's Sanctum by the time of its destruction.
* RevengeByProxy: One of the Goblin Princess's goals is enacting revenge on the current Jorha.
