* KarmaHoudini: Karl. At the end the heroes believe that one of the miniature figures they're burning in the fireplace has to be Karl, but it turns out he escaped the destruction of Karlsville unharmed. The episode ends with him doing an EvilLaugh at his apparent luck. Of course, he's still small size and his town is destroyed. So... yeah. Might not be laughing for much longer if any of the protagonists find him.

Also, he can't pull his tricks on any kids he finds because those tricks rely on the town.

* MindRape: Todd enters Karlsville and is later kidnapped by Karl and strapped to a table to be turned to a plastic figure since Karlsville is a model town. Karl begins taunting Todd with the thought of being turned to plastic by doing such things as asking him if he's afraid or what color he wants to be turned. Just before Todd is saved by Jessica and Matthew, Karl begins to chuckle as he tells Todd the whole process will hurt. Todd than begins to scream for Karl to stop and yell for someone to help.

An original three-part story not based on any volume of Literature/Goosebumps, Chillogy tells the story of three kids who each discover a model town that's more than what it seems.

It consists of:

* "Chillogy, Part 1 -- Squeal of Fortune" -- Greedy pre-teen Jessica discovers the model town of Karlsville, only to get sucked into it and meet its mayor, Karl Knave. Soon, she discovers what happens when her greed gets the better of her.
* "Chillogy, Part 2 -- Strike Three... You're Doomed" -- Brothers Matthew and Todd Erickson have discovered Karlsville after Jessica tried to throw it away, taking it home. Matthew later gets sucked into the town and must play a potentially lethal game of baseball in order to escape.
* "Chillogy, Part 3 -- Escape from Karlsville" -- Matthew's little brother Todd has been sucked into Karlsville, and Jessica and Matthew must re-enter the town in order to rescue him and put an end to the town and its dangers for good.

----
!!"Chillogy" provides examples of:

* AccidentalHero: The kids are saved at the last minute because of Matthew and Todd's parents. Teresa was in process of vacuuming Matthew's room when Bob came in to ask where the kids were. Distracted, she accidentally left the nozzle over the town. The kids managed to hang on to a fence, and Karl gets to safety, but the other residents get sucked up.
* AlliterativeName: K arl K nave.
* AndIMustScream: Karl tries to turn one of the kids he torments into a sentient plastic figure.
* BaseballEpisode: Part 2 of the story. After washing out in a game, Matthew gets a chance to try the Karlsville version. After getting on base, he finds he can only go home by reaching home plate, but there are a number of deadly obstacles along the way.
* BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor: Matthew spends most of the Karlsville baseball game alone on the field. When Matthew questions how a game could be played with only one person, Karl provides two monster opponents eager to tag the kid out.
* BigNo: Karl when Matthew reaches home plate and escapes Karlsville.
* DisproportionateRetribution: The townspeople decide to cut Jessica up and eat her after she's turned into a human-pig hybrid, simply because she scammed them out of money.
* Egopolis: Karl Knave makes his residence in a miniature town he rules called Karlsville.
* TheEndOrIsIt: The kids throw the town and all the inhabitants into the fireplace, but they miss one certain person.
* FauxAffablyEvil: Karl turns on the charm for each of the kids, appealing to each of their personal interests and making a show of how fun it will all be. Once it's too late for the kids to simply walk away, he reveals how truly sadistic he really is and does everything possible to endanger them.
-->Karl: Did I tell you this won't hurt?\\
Todd: No.\\
Karl: Good. Because it does! [laughs]
* ForcedTransformation: In the first part, Karl convinces Jessica to sell lemonade for exorbitant prices by artificially driving up demand. Then he exposes her and turns her into a PigMan for being a "greedy little pig".
* ForegoneConclusion: Though Jessica is confident she's gotten rid of the town, it is only the first part of the trilogy, so Karl's threat is not even close to being over yet.
* ForTheEvulz: Karl, the ruler of a miniature toy town aptly called Karlsville. He's never given a back story but when asked why he's bothering to turn one of the main characters into a plastic slave, Karl simply states "Everyone needs a hobby." His hobby is to turn kids into his slaves.
* Greed: Jessica's flaw in Part 1, as she's all about enriching herself and refusing to give her little brother some money to buy their parents an anniversary present.
* HeelRealization: As a result of her experiences in the town, Jessica becomes a lot more generous towards her little brother. She also drops by Matthew's room to own up for low-balling him on baseball cards.
* HopeSpot: After her experiences in Karlsville, Jessica throws the model town in the trash so that she and no one else ever have to deal with it again. That night, though, Matthew and Todd come upon it and take it back to their house.
* Hypocrite: Matthew balks at Jessica offering a measly $2 for a valuable baseball card. Todd points out Matthew previously paid less for it than what Jessica is offering now.
* KarmaHoudini: [[spoiler: Karl. So... yeah. Might not be laughing for much longer if any of the protagonists find him.]]
* KarmicTransformation: Jessica uses her lemonade stand in Karlsville to try to scam the townsfolk by holding back her supply to drive up the demand. When this is revealed and she's called a "greedy little pig", she turns into a Pig Girl.
* PlasterCastDoodling: Greg's father got into a car accident which left him in the hospital. His family visited him and wrote messages on his leg cast.
* PopulationXAndCounting: The miniature town of Karlsville, which draws people into it through various means. Whenever this happens, the population sign automatically changes. When the two protagonists from the first two episodes must re-enter Karlsville in order to save the younger brother of the male protagonist, they manually change the sign in order to transport themselves there.
* RecursiveCanon: A few of the books can be seen on the bookshelf in the background of part two.
* Sadist: Karl actively enjoys the torment he causes his victims. He outright tells Todd to keep screaming, as he considers it so enjoyable to listen to.
* SoProudOfYou: After Matthew strikes out, Bob tries to console him by saying he is proud of him for trying his best.
* TaughtByExperience: Jessica first escaped Karlsville by using the phonebooth, while Matthew later got out by reaching home plate. Come Part 3 when the three kids are looking to escape, Karl cuts them off at both spots.
* ThatWasNotADream: After escaping Karlsville, Matthew passes out from exhaustion. The following morning, he's wondering if he dreamed that spooky game, only for Jessica to drop by and suddenly panic over seeing the model town.
-->Jessica: What is that doing here?\\
Matthew: Then, it wasn't a dream.
* ToBeContinued: Part 1 ends with Matthew and Todd taking the model town home, with Karl promising to up the ante next time. Part 2 ends with Jessica and Matthew about to dismantle the model with tools, only for Todd to get sucked in.
* TragicDream: Matthew dreams of playing Major League Baseball some day, but he's a perpetual benchwarmer. He strikes out when actually getting a chance to play, so he's left feeling like he lacks the skill to achieve his only dream.
* UltimateAuthorityMayor: Justified, as Karl is the mayor of a miniature town that sucks kids into it so he can torment and kill them. Since Karlsville itself is a supernatural environment controlled by Karl, he's a full-blown RealityWarper while inside of it.
