The PoliceAreUseless, so Garfield defeats the monster...by forcing him to eat baking soda. It works and the police congratulate him for his fine work, then decide to distribute baking soda to the neighborhood.

They just send their stupidest member on the force who can't even put 2 and 2 together in his head who couldn't even locate the MASSIVELY LARGE creature that has taken over much of the house. Garfield and Odie are watching 'Professional Wrestling' when they see the Masked Mauler issuing a challenge to the public to face him. Jon decides to go out to buy pizza, and Garfield (and Odie who he drags along) follow suit. At the Italian restaurant, the Masked Mauler is upset as the manager tells him that no one is willing to face him in the ring, so he decides to randomly pick someone. When Garfield eats the Mauler's pizza, he uses it as an excuse to pick a fight with Jon. Jon decides to head to a foreign country, but is forced by the manager to face the Mauler.

In another "Garfield's Tales of Scary Stuff" episode, [[LethalChef Jon]] makes a soup from his new recipe until it sounds an alarm warning Garfield and Odie about it. But eventually they were forced to eat his food. But as Jon ask for their comment on his food, he was surprise to see them wearing a hazard masks. Jon retort that it isn't that bad until he agrees when Garfield force him to taste it. Unwilling to throw the food, he place it inside the refrigerator, behind the mayonnaise, next to the ketchup, and to the left of the coleslaw. But months has pass by as it somehow mutate itself into a large gooey creature. On February, when Jon is baking a cake and opens the fridge to grab some milk, he was shocked when he realize something has give him the milk while Garfield was shocked that the creature shoots him watermelon seeds. They scream in horror, runs outside the house and call the police about the [[OverlyLongGag creature inside the refrigerator, behind the mayonnaise, next to the ketchup, and to the left of the coleslaw]].

Soon the police decides to handle the situation but refuse to go in (even the dumb police can't find him). So Garfield decides to buy something and return inside the house confronting the monster...by forcing him to eat baking soda. It works and the police congratulate him for his fine work and decides to distribute baking sodas to the neighborhood.

Jon decide to do one smart move...going to a travel agency and goes to a foreign country. But as they return home, he was forced into the car by the manager while Garfield and Odie follows the suit.

At the arena, Jon and the Masked Mauler faces off while Garfield and Odie are at the front bench eating their food. But as the match begins, Jon faints as the Masked Mauler twist him and toss him outside the ring, catapulting Garfield inside the ring. Shocked, the Mask Mauler chased Garfield while the crowd boos of him for bullying a cat. As he was captured, the Mask Mauler suddenly sneezed. Realizing he's allergic to cats, he ask Odie to use a hair dryer to makes him sneeze. It works and suddenly, under his mask is a geek-looking face as he runs out of the arena in embarrassment while everyone laughs at his looks. In the end Garfield was crown champion.

Finding a new challenger, the Masked Mauler challenges Jon to a wrestling match by making an excuse that Garfield eats his pizzas. It is up to Garfield to save his owner from the wrestler.
