* TemptingFate: Vegeta tells Bulma he hates the color pink. When he finishes showing, the clothes she set out for him beforehand include his infamous pink shirt.

* SkewedPriorities: Yamcha tries to talk to Vegeta about the latter's budding relationship with Bulma while the gang is waiting for Freeza to land. Vegeta can't believe Yamcha's gall to bring the topic up at that moment.

* BondOneLiner: Trunks at the end of the episode after killing Freeza's henchmen after the latter told them to treat their invasion of Earth as a scavenger hunt: "So, how many points are those?"

* RealityEnsues: Goku didn't exactly have access to a mirror while fighting Freeza, so he's shocked upon learning he's blond in his Super Saiyan form.

* ActuallyPrettyFunny: Contrary to what Krillin considers "neat", Yamcha doesn't like the idea that Vegeta living at Capsule Corporation. Then this happens:

* TheUnfought: When Yamcha reminds Vegeta that they fought when he first arrived on Earth. Vegeta corrects him by saying the prince only fought Goku/[[InsistentTerminology Kakarot]], while Nappa fought everyone else. Yamcha himself never had the chance to fight because he was killed early by a Saibaman, which Vegeta finds hilarious after remembering "that one scrub".

* ActuallyPrettyFunny: Yamcha changes his tune on Vegeta living at Capsule Corporation when he's amused at Vegeta getting used to Earthly things...like soap.

* DistractingDisambiguation: When Vegeta first senses the approach of Freeza, Yamcha initially asks him if he's still angry about the pink shirt, and Vegeta stops to [[ThatMakesMeFeelAngry matter-of-factly state that he's]] "[[CallBack absolutely livid]]" about it.

* TemptingFate: Vegeta tells Bulma he hates the color pink. Naturally, the clothes she set out for him beforehand include his infamous pink shirt.

* LastDisrespects: Yamcha asks Bulma where she buried him when he died. It turns out, they didn't bother burying him, and his corpse was still rotting in the crater he was blown up in.[[note]]In the original, Yamcha, Piccolo, and Tien were all placed in cryo-coffins, similar to the ones that Krillin, Chiaotzu, and Master Roshi were kept in after they were killed by King Piccolo and his minions. But it is presumed their bodies disappeared like Goku's did when they were claimed to train with King Kai.[[/note]]
