* EvilCannotComprehendGood: Carmilla's has a rather twisted and selfish idea of love (if you love someone you do your best to keep it) and can't seem to understand selfless love and mutual respect. VillainHasAPoint when she wonders why Dracula didn't do more to protect her.

Added DiffLines:

* OnlyFriend: Isaac is the only person that Dracula counts as a friend mostly because Isaac is the only being that knows and agrees with Dracula's true plan.

Added DiffLines:

* VillainHasAPoint: Carmilla wonders why if Dracula loved Lisa so much why he didn't turn her, welcome her into their society or at least do more to protect her. While the first two points are likely because Lisa loved humanity and being human, one does wonder why Dracula didn't leave Lisa with more protection.

* EasilyForgiven: Even though it is obvious to Dracula and Isaac that Hector's loyalty is under question, neither of them hold it against him. They both know that his intentions for the war are born from a place of naïve innocence in-contrast for Carmilla and Godbrand's more selfish scheming.

* MidnightSnack: Godbrand wakes up feeling peckish. Unfortunately the vampire equivalent of this (when you don't feel like drinking pig's blood) is raiding a small settlement and drinking everyone dry.

In the Belmont Hold, Alucard and Trevor continue to exchange barbs, as they uncover an old mirror. Alucard recognises it as a "seeing mirror", which can be used to view things remotely (although it needs a bit of maintenance). Trevor and Sypha share a conversation under the former's "stinky" green blanket.

Added DiffLines:

* RhetoricalQuestionBlunder: When Sypha asks Trevor if he knew his family owned a MagicMirror, he sarcastically asks if she knows about everything in her house. Alucard points out that as a member of a nomadic people, she didn't have one.

A flashback to Godbrand's past turns out to be a dream, as he wakes up and demands a snack. Frustrated at being offered a pig, he begins to agree with Carmilla's assessment that Dracula's going mad. This dissent continues to spread, as Carmilla slowly brings Hector to her side, and suggests once again that the castle needs to be moved to Brelia.

Isaac and Dracula reminisce over how he ended up in his service, revealing that not only are they old friends, but Dracula was lying to Hector when he agreed to only cull humanity. Isaac is the only person he's revealed the whole truth to; he plans to allow vampires to starve after humanity is gone.

Godbrand returns from a raid with the rest of the council, and brings his complaints and doubts to Isaac, who promptly kills him (affirming the loyalty he has towards Dracula).
