* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: When Nina finally realizes that the incident that caused her to break off her friendship with Sharon was actually caused by Petra, and decides to rekindle their friendship. While Sharon's willing to give Nina another chance, it soon becomes apparent that Sharon and Nina have grown too far apart and just don't have enough in common to really be compatible as friends. Not only that, but Nina is just as mean to everyone else as she once was to Sharon, which Sharon is deeply unnerved by. Their friendship ultimately breaks apart once more because of these factors.

Nina Harper's cousin, Petra (who's basically just a meaner/snobbier/bitchier version of Nina), is visiting Elkford, British Columbia from UsefulNotes/London, England. During the visit, Petra notices that Nina's still nursing a grudge against Sharon Spitz (Nina's BFF-turned-nemesis) for allegedly decapitating her beloved fashion dolls when they were little kids. Petra laughs at her cousin and casually (almost gloatingly) admits that she was the one who had done it--hearing this shocks Nina, as she had always assumed that Sharon was the culprit (despite never having any actual evidence to prove it).

* DisproportionateRetribution: Pretty much the whole that Sharon and Nina stopped being friends was because one day, while playing together at Nina's house when they were around seven-years-old, Nina saw that someone had decapitated all of her beloved fashion dolls--despite literally never having any actual evidence to prove it, Nina assumed Sharon had done it and subsequently ended their friendship. In the years that followed, Nina made it her personal mission the make Sharon's life (as well as the lives of anyone who would dare to attach themselves to Sharon) a living hell. It wasn't until well into their freshman year of high school (about seven or eight years after the doll incident happened) that Nina finally learned the truth of what really happened.

* SurpringlyRealisticOutcome: When Nina finally realises that the incident that caused her to break off her friendship with Sharon was actually caused by Petra, and decides to rekindle their friendship. While Sharon is initially glad that she and Nina are no longer enemies, she realises that they have become very different people since they were first friends, and barely have anything in common. Not only that, but Nina is just as mean to everyone else as she once was to Sharon, which Sharon is deeply unnerved by. Their friendship ultimately breaks apart once more because of these factors.
