* AsYouKnow: When Corwin tells Ivanova in the cold open that a signal is coming from sector 14, Ivanova makes a point of reminding Corwin (and the audiece) [[{{Recap/BabylonFiveS01E20BabylonSquared}} that the sector has been quarantined]] due to [[{{Recap/BabylonFiveS02E17Knives}} unusual phenomena]]. Garibaldi also reminds Ivanova and Sheridan about the anomalies from that sector.

* FlashbackWithTheOtherDarrin: Borderline example. In a vision depicting Babylon 5's destruction at the hands of the Shadows, Sinclair and Garibaldi both have different hairstyles than they do here. In particular, Jerry Doyle sports his easily-identifiable Season One hair, which only emphasizes his rapidly-deteriorating hairline.

This was not the Trope Namer. JMS got the term from Slaughterhouse 5, and has said as much publicly.

Sheridan argues with Delenn that they should be going to Epsilon 3 to find out what is happening there, but Delenn tells him that there is not time for that, and that she will explain everything once they're underway. As their shuttle embarks for the ''White Star'', a skeptical Sheridan muses that Sinclair's timing is uncanny, to which Sinclair replies that ThereAreNoCoincidences. Marcus tells Sheridan to quit while he's ahead, since "Ranger One" has a reputation for seldom giving straight answers. (There's a lot of that going around, old bean.)

Ranger One was to look at every reply in a mirror, while hanging upside-down from the ceiling.
