* TheSoulsaver: Oliver's rationale for saving Malcolm. He wants to make sure that Thea won't have to live with the guilt of being responsible for her father's death. Near the end, she admits to Roy that she does feel guilty, believing [[IfYouKillHimYouWillBeJustLikeHim murdering her own father]] makes them NotSoDifferent.

* RealityEnsues: Turning over Malcolm to the League doesn't give Thea any closure, it just makes her angrier and more guilty.

** Lyla knows that Diggle can't face Oliver returning Nanda Parbat without him again, and gives her approval. While chained to a cell floor, expecting to be tortured to death, Diggle reveals that the favour he was intending to ask what the Oliver be the best man at their wedding, as Oliver has become a brother to replace the one Diggle lost.

* HonorBeforeReason: Thea tells Nyssa that she was the one to kill Sara, then lets her out of her cage ''and'' gives her a sword. It cannot end well.

* ThePasswordIsAlwaysSwordfish: Felicity reworks the security of the company mainframe so that Ray can't get in, forcing him to either spend six hours breaking in manually, or spend that time eating dinner and getting some rest, then getting the password from her.
