Replacing giant summaries with synopsis from the main Recap page.

The ceremony continues with the drumming and the medicine woman's noises, while Alfred screams for help in the boiling soup. He has been tied by his wings and tries to kick himself out while the chief adds more wood to the fire. The rest of the party has been tied to a tree and Von Paljas yells at the tribespeople to stop, calling them cruel barbarians and struggling against the rope. Livingston pleads for somebody to help Alfred and Henk, tied to Von Paljas' leg, yells for Alfred to hang on. On the tree branch, Pikkie stares in horror and paces anxiously, saying aloud that he must do something. While Alfred boils in the cauldron the medicine woman conductsa ceremony, which is interrupted when he chief walks to the rope and pulls Alfred out. Alfred hangs limply while the chief grabs him by the beak, exmining him. The chief then announces that Alfred's not quite done yet, and he's lowered back into the soup. Von Paljas and Livingston look away in horror.

Suddendly a voice yells at them to stop, and the drumming ceases with everybody turning to the direction of the voice. The chief calls the black cat queen Nora, and she demands the chief (named Tam-Tam) to get Alfred out of the cauldron right now. Von Paljas and Livingston stare at Nora, while the chief protests that they arrived through the waterfall. She asks if this is true and the chief swears it is, adding that they were looking for the pot of gold, and everything that comes through the waterfall must be cooked into soup. In the cauldron, Alfred has stopped screaming and is floating there with his eyes barely open. Nora tells him he's wrong and that these strangers aren't evil. The chief asks how does she know, and she irritatedly asks if he no longer trusts her abilities. The chief franctically swears that of course he trusts and he didn't mean it like that, but Nora demands him to get Alfred out of the cauldron before it's too late. The chief obeys and pulls Alfred out, the duck having started turning red in the meantime. He tells Alfred to be thankful for his luck, but Alfred doesn't respond, he's limp and his eyes closed.

Later, Alfred is laying on rocks at the waterfall and started recovering, no longer red. He opens his eyes and Henk calls out to the others, Pikkie asking Alfred how he's feeling. Alfred doesn't answer but looks around and notices queen Nora, who says she's sorry about what happened to him. Alfred slowly rises to a half-sitting position and asks if she's the one who just saved his life. Nora apologises, saying that this wouldn't have happened if she had been nearby. Alfred says they were trying to make him into soup and Von Paljas says that Nora is the guardian of the pot of gold they're looking for. Alfred springs up and asks if it's true and then remembers that the rainbow ends at the waterfall, concluding that this means the story of the pot of gold must be true. Nora says that it really is and Alfred sits up, introducing himself, but Henk says the expedition party already introduced him before he woke up. Nora introduces herself to Alfred, and he thanks her again. Von Paljas tells him Nora has promised to take them to the pot, and Alfred is excited to hear this. Nora explains that it's behind the waterfall, and she could take them there right now if Alfred has strenght to walk. Alfred rises slowly, takes a few weary steps, and says that he can do it.

Nora leads the party to a rock path, while Pikkie's chanting about the gold. The path takes them behind a waterfall, and after more path they arrive in a cave where they immediately stop. They stare with wide eyes as the pot's glow illuminates the whole cave, the pot itself being crystalline yellowish-whitish and resembling the head of a crocodile with a nose ring standing on a rod. Alfred and Pikkie both get weird eyes, but while Alfred's amazed and says that the pot really exists, Pikkie is making noises and breathing heavily. Von Paljas says that witnessing the old legend to be real is exciting, but Alfred goes to the pot says that they don't know if the other part is also true. Von Paljas also approaches the pot and asks what other part is he talking about, and Alfred reminds him that the story says that if you move the pot away, all the color will dissappear from the world. Von Paljas remembers and asks Nora if that story is also true, but Nora says she doesn't have an answer because the pot has never been removed in the past.

Pikkie gets weird eyes and pants, but nobody notices and Von Paljas asks if Nora has heard the story too. She says she did, from her mother, but she doubts that even her mother knew if it was true because the pot wasn't moved in her lifetime either. Pikkie's noises get louder but nobody still notices, and Nora says it needs to stay in it's place in the future too, so that rainbows will stay on the sky. Von Paljas asks if he's allowed to take a look inside the pot, and she permits it. It opens like a crocodile's mouth and bathes him in a bright light, filled with gold dust. Von Paljas proclaims that the story was true, every grain shines like a small star. Alfred and Livingston also climb to look and make awed noises, Henk climbing on Alfred's head so that he can see the gold too. Pikkie's eyes swirl red and yellow circles while he shambles over and flies on the rock table to look into the pot. He starts getting dizzy and suddendly collapses, with his face in the gold.

Later, it's night and the expedition party gets sleeping bags from somewhere and goes to sleep around the same tree they were earlier tied to. Alfred mumbles aloud about the pot and the gold dust. Livingston asks Von Paljas if he, as a scientist, wouldn't be interested to test if the world's colors really would dissappear if the pot was moved. Von Paljas tells him he can't do it if nobody can guarantee the colors will return when the pot is put back into it's place. It would be horrible if the world suddendly turned black and white. Livingston agrees and Von Paljas yawns, saying that they have a hard journey ahead of them tomorrow. Livingston says that not necessarily, since the chief has shown him a bit easier path. Von Paljas says that it's great, and they say good night to each other. Pikkie's eyes open, with no pupils visible and literal, moving stars in them.

The morning comes, and shadows loom over the sleeping party. The entire tribe is there and the chief pokes Alfred with a stick, waking him. Alfred sits up and notices the tree has been surrounded by spear-wielding tribespeople, and quietly wakes Von Paljas up saying something is wrong. Von Paljas puts on his glasses and notes that it's morning, asking Alfred what's the matter. Henk and Livingston also wakee while Alfred stands up and says he doesn't know, somebody just woke him up just now. Alfred asks the chief, but he yells at him to shut up. Nora arrives through two rows of spear-wielding tribespeople and Alfred greets her cheerfully, but she says that the pot of gold has dissappeared. The party looks at her in shock and Alfred is taken aback, and Nora says somebody stole it during the night. Alfred looks around and walks to Pikkie's sleeping bag, worrying where he is and calling out his name. Pikkie is already far, running through the jungle with the pot in tow.

Henk worries if Pikkie has gone crazy again, and Nora says that Pikkie is a magpie. Alfred says Pikkie always gets enarmored with anything shiny and Nora agrees that it's a magpie's nature, and Alfred asks Henk if Pikkie actually stole the pot, what does Henk think he'd do with it. Henk believes that Pikkie would take it to Waterland and hide it in somewhere, but Von Paljas thinks he's somewhere in the forest and proposes theystart looking. Livingston suddendly cries out that he can't believe his eyes, and the others turn to see colors dissappearing and black and white spreading from the waterfall. Everybody stares in shock and Von Paljas says the story was true after all, calling it incredible. Alfred says it looks like the colors are dissappearing from the waterfall and it's environment first. Von Paljas says they need to find the pot very quickly, and return it to it's place. Meanwhile, Pikkie's still running in the jungle, mumbling that the gold is his now.

The party, Janola, and Nora walk on the path the chief had showed, and Alfred asks what happens if Pikkie has gone to the windmill. Von Paljas says that if that's the case then they will run into him shortly, since they have taken a shortcut. Alfred asks if he doesn't fear the possibility of Pikkie escaping them by flying, but he's sure Pikkie won't give up the pot.

They get to the windmill, and Nora notes it's an unusual vehicle. Von Paljas tells her other people have also said that, but it's the most wonderful airship. Nora says she wants to fly on it and Von Paljas says that she can, if Pikkie has returned to Waterland they will look for him, and she's invited to join them. Nora tells him she will travel anywhere as long as it gets the pot back. Von Paljas brags that with his ship they could even go to space, amazing her. While they're standing around, Livingston and Janola show up and Von Paljas asks if they learned anything. Livingston reports that nobody has seen a feather of Pikkie, and Alfred wonders where can he be. Von Paljas says he could be anywhere, but he definitely couldn't fly the windmill. Livingston suggest he has gone to the Arnod[?] airport, which is in the opposite direction. Alfred scowls and says they need to get there immediately, and they might be able to catch up to him if they fly there in the windmill. Henk doesn't think so, saying that Pikkie most likely stole the pot earlier than they're assuming and is already far away. Von Paljas says he's likely right, and he thinks it would be the safest to fly to a Waterland airport and wait there for Pikkie to appear.

Somewhere else, a plane lands on a runway while two fur wrap-wearing and spear-wielding tribespeople look on the airport. Pikkie rushes to the boarding area with the pot concealed in a bag, and gets in the line behind a man in a white fedora and dark yellow-ish suit. He pants and puts the bag on the ground while the man turns to look over his shoulder, revealing himself to be Dolf. He greets Pikkie by the name, shocking and terrifying him. Pikkie greets him anxiously while Dolf comments on the coincidence, asking if he's coming to the flight. Pikkie grips his bag possessively and amits he is, and Dolf says he will also be boarding. He says that Pikkie's luggage seems heavy and asks if Pikkie wants Dolf to carry it for him. Pikkie yells at Dolf to not touch the bag, taking him aback. Pikkie realizes his mistakes and and backtracks, thanking him but saying he can carry it on his own. Dolf stares at him suspiciously.

The windmill is flying over the clouds and Henk asks how much more time will it take o get back to Waterland, and Alfred estimates thirty minutes. He says they can't let Pikkie beat them to Waterland but Henk tells him not to worry, telling him that the flights from Arnol continent will have a stopover [that's the right word, right?] in Moreena, and they will be in Waterland long before Pikkie. Von Paljas and Nora are standing at the larger window and he asks how does her first flight feel, and she says it feels amazing but the pot must be recovered very quickly.

Clouds part in a Waterland airport, where the windmill lands. In the crowd they find a television screen showing a video of the entire waterfall area having turned black and white, the newscaster saying that everything within the radius of five kilometers from the waterfall has lost it's color and the grey area seems ro be spreading to all directions little by little. The newscaster wonders if the entire Arlon continent is going to turn completely black and white, for now it seems like that. Nora is horrified and calls the sight horrible, while speakers declare the plane has landed. Alfred recognizes the flight number and tells the others to hurry, and Von Paljas says they need to be waiting at the gate.

The plane lands and the passengers exit the terminal, Pikkie comes out sobbing and his head hanging low. Pikkie encounters Alfed, Henk, Von Paljas, and Nora at the door and starts bawling, taking the other aback. At a cafeteria table Pikkie begs to be forgiven, but Alfred asks where did he hide the pot. Pikkie tells them it was stolen and Von Paljas asks who did it, demanding Pikkie to tell him right away. Pikkie says the thief was Dolf, which leaves Alfred shocked. He's in disbelief about how it's Dolf again. Pikkie explains that he was surprised to bump into Dolf at the [city name, can't make it out] airport, and Alfred asks how did he succeed in snatching the pot from him. Pikkie explains Dolf immediately realized the pot didn't belong to him, and Alfred asks why isn't Dolf there now. Pikkie explains that he left the plane in Moreena, and Alfred says that country is full of casinos. Henk says that Moreena is also an old hideout for runaway criminals, shocking Nora. Alfred proclaims with angry determination that if Dolf is there, he'll catch him.

In a large port city in Moreena, the beaches and the streets are full of people. Dolf walks through to a colorful building with Pikkie's bag in tow. The building is a casino, with roulette and all the other popular games available and also full of people. Dolf walks through the floor, and is approached by a jackal who greets him and says it has been a while since his last visit. Dolf explains that he has been on the Arlon continent for some time. The jackal asks if that's so and Dolf says he reckons he's going to have a quite lot of fun there tonight, turning away to look at the roulette table. Dolf guesses that the number will be twelve, and the jackal asks if Dofl would like to see their manager first, saying that the manager wants to see him. The roulette ball stops at the twelve, exciting Dolf who says that today is his lucky day and kt's going to be a great night. The jackal calls Dolf by the name, but Dolf just tells him not to worry and that he'll see the manager later. The jackal angrily tells Dolf he must see him right now, but Dolf says he just saw how lucky he's today and he wants to play now, twlling the jackal to get him the chips. The jackal walks up and slams his paw on the table, looming over Dolf angrily and tells him he can't, it has to be now. Dolf relents and agrees to see the man now.

They walk through an empty hall to a room where another jackal, the casino owner, is watching the security cameras. Dolf enters and the owner greets him, saying it's been a long time. Dolf sits on the armchair in front of his desk, saying that he wanted to talk. The jackal leaves the room and the owner says it's something very important. He informs Dolf that he owes the casino a great deal of money, and Dolf admits it. However he waves it off, saying that the owner doesn't need to worry because he can pay off all his debts to them today, because he's feeling very lucky. The owner says Dolf said the same thing a year ago so he waited until the next morning, and the next morning and the morning after that, and so on. Dolf nonchalantly tosses his hat off. The owner continues that Dolf said he was going to the toilet, but must have gotten lost on his way back. Dolf says he remembers that, and the owner says he asked that friends of Dolf's who was playing with him that night what had become of him. And the man said to the owner that Dolf had gone on the run, and Dolf promises it won't be happening tonight in the finnish dub be also says it happened last year, that Dolf promised he could pay when he demanded his money, said he was just going to visit the bathroom, and dissappeared. The owner then says he ordered his people to keep an eye out for him and learned that Dolf had remained in debt to them. Dolf says that won't be repeated today. The owner then demands the debt paid in cash. No mention is made of the owner constantly agreeing to wait until the next day, or Dolf's friend or his interrogation.. The owner says he will only let Dolf play in the hall after he has paid off his debts in cash. Dolf calmly tells him that he doesn't have any cash with him tonight, and the owner calls him unbelievable, asking if he's understanding correctly that Dolf is coming to play in a casino without any money and debts like he already has...! Dolf repeats that he has no money, taking aback the owner who asks if it's true. Dolf swears he's carrying no cash and the owner says he's got nerve, walking over to loom behind him and asking Dolf if he thinks he'll be walking out of this room alive. Dolf laughs and lifts the bag on the table, opening it and revealing the pot. It emits light when he puts it on the table and the owner stares at it, leaning closer in curiosity. Dolf explains that it's from the Arlon continent and asks if the owner can even imagine it's value, lifting the lid to reveal the gold. The light blinds the owner for a moment, and he amazedly says that it's value is immeasurable. Dolf tells him that in addition to that, it's completely unique in the world. The owner asks if Dolf is going to give it as a payment for the debts, but Dolf tells the owner to not be dub, compared to the total value of this stuff, what Dolf owes is this little (he scoops up a small wingful of the gold to demonstrate). The owner says that the wingful is way too little, but Dolf tells him not to think he's getting it all. He explains he's having the pot aauctioned off, and is sure it will fetch a fortune. The owner exits the room and the jackal is waiting outside, asking him if he will "take care" of Dolf. However the owner angrily tells him no, and then turns to tell Dolf he wishes him a nice evening on their casino, and tells the jackal to get him lots of chips. Dolf is already leaving and asks if his usual seat is free, and the jackal says that of course it is. The owner tells the jackal that the issue has been dealt with and Dolf is swimming in money now.

Going to the roulette table, Dolf sees people sitting at his place. They're Alfred, Von Paljas, and Nora, but Dolf has never met Nora and fails to recognize the other two. He walks up in irritation, asking them to move and saying the seat has been reserved to him. Alfred turns around and Dolf is shocked, while Alfred says what a coincidence it is. Dolf asks how he's been doing and he has been doing well, while Dolf looks stressed like always. Dolf tells him there must be something wrong with his eyes, because he's doing better than ever. Alfred calmly says that there must be something wrong with his head like Pikkie, surprising Dolf. Alfred then angrily yells that if there isn't anything wrong then Dolf better prepare for a serious punishment, because he has stolen something extremely valuable. Dolf figures that's why Alfred's there, and when Von Paljas tells him to return the object in the bag, he pulls it to the other side of his body, away from Von Paljas. Henk tells Dolf he really is incorrigible, and Dolf comments on what they have there, a large gathering of scum, how nice. Nora tells him her name and tells him she's the guardian of the pot of gold, and demands him to return it right now. Dolf laughes and refuses but Henk tells him it's high time he gave it up, and Von Paljas asks if he wants to be branded as a thief in front of the whole crowd. Dolf takes off running and Alfred chases after him, yelling that they can't let him get away. Dolf crashes into the jackal who was bringing him the chips, knocking him over, and Alfred chases him out to the street. Von Paljas, Henk, and Nora run outside a good while after them and Nora asks if Alfred can catch Dolf. Von Paljas tells her not to worry and says he could bet his life that he will.

Dolf runs into a random building and takes the elevator, it's doors closing just before Alfred can get to him. He laughs while Alfred grips the bars in anger, but Alfred runs up the stairs and reaches each level just as the elevator is passing it. Dolf still laughes when the elevator stops at a high floor and runs up the still continuing stairs. At the only door at the top of these last stairs Alfred is catching up, so Dolf throws the bag into the space between the stairs and slides down the banister, kicking the shocked Alfred on the face in his way, and slides all the way down just in time to catch the bag before it hits the bottom level's floor. Alfred slides after him but crashes into the elevator doors and Dolf gets a headstart.

They run in and out of random doors in a hallway, one angry resident chasing them and throwing pans at Dolf's head. Thet run to a top balcony and Dolf jumps off, running over ceiling tiles. Alfred follows, jumping high over the streets. Dolf fails to outrun Alfred, who yells that he won't get away this time, tackling him and sending the bag falling off the roof. Alfred is horrified and chases after it, but Dolf jumps on him and they watch the bag pounce into a crocodile's flowerbed. He looks up angrily and Alfred and dolf stop fighting, freezimg into a sitting position. The crocodile picks up the bag which broke his flowerpots and turns red with anger, declaring that the bag destroyed his beloved flowers and demanding to know who threw it.

Alfred and Dolf both immediately and panickedly accuse the other. The crocodile says that if they don't tell the truth they will regret it, but both still insist that the other one threw the bag. The crocodile asks which of them own it, and both of them immediately claim it's theirs. The crocodile trembels with anger, concluding that they're making a fool out of him, and trows the bag out towards the sea. Alfred and Dolf are horrified and rush after it, bouncing off the crocodile's head and into a freefall off a steep cliff. Alfred almost reaches the bag but it falls faster and Dolf knocks him off his course, managing to grab onto the bag before hitting the water. Alfred falls fist-first, crashing into Dolf just as he resurfaces and sending them sinking deep. Alfred tries to pry Dolf off the bag while they keep sinking and manages to remove Dolf by kicking him in the face, but Dolf can swim because of his shoes and catches up to Alfred before he gets to the surface. Dolf latches onto the bag and they fight again, Alfred having to kick him three times to get him off. Dolf keeps swimming after him, and Von Paljas, Henk, and Nora cheer when they see Alfred resurfacing in the harbor with the bag in his wings. Alfred swims to them carrying the bag in his back, while Dolf is left floating somewhere with only his head above the water cursing Alfred and saying he'll remember this.

Later, the news show that all the color has returned to the waterfall's environment, and the tribe is drumming happily. Alfred and Winnie watch television in the living room, while the newscaster says that nobody has yet been able to explain this phenomenon scientifically. Alfred laughs, saying it happened because the pot of gold was removed from "the pot of the rainbow", and Winnie comments on how "scientific" it is. It's raining again but less than in the previous episode, and Henk is walking to Alfred's house with an umbrella. While crossing the bridge he sees a faint rainbow and climbs on the bridge's railing, admiring the rainbow and calling for Alfred and yelling that there's a rainbow. Alfred and Winnie rush out of the house and run to the bridge next to Henk. They stand on their toes leaning on the railing, and Winnie calls it beautiful. The "camera" zooms out, showing the entire rainbow over the field.

The party looks at her in shock and Alfred is taken aback, and Nora says somebody stole it during
the night. Alfred looks around and walks to Pikkie's sleeping bag, worrying where he is and calling out his name. On the way home, Pikkie is already far, running through the jungle with the pot in tow.

Livingston suddendly cries out that he can't believe his eyes, and the others
turn to see colors dissappearing and black and white spreading from the waterfall.

Alfred asks if he doesn't fear the possibility of Pikkie escaping them
robbed by flying, but he's sure Pikkie won't give up the pot.

Pikkie says the thief was
Dolf, which leaves Alfred shocked.

Dolf walks through the floor, and is approached by a jackal
who greets him and says it has been a while since his last visit. Dolf explains that he has been on the Arlon continent for some time. The jackal asks if that's so and Dolf says he reckons he's going flees to have a quite lot of fun there tonight, turning away to look at the roulette table.

!! Continues from De Regenbog (Looking For The Rainbow)

!! Tropes:
* BookEnds: The episode ends the same way the previous episode began - Henk walking to Alfred's house and admiring the rainbow with Alfred and Winnie. Only now it's Winnie who's in Alfred house when the rainbow appears, and it's Henk who calls the other two outside to see it.
* SoftWater: Alfred and Dolf both survive a very high freefall into sea, Dolf even crashing headfirst while Alfred crashes wing-first into him with neither of them sustaining any injury.
* BanisterSlide: Dolf during the chase.
* TheGamblinAddict: Dolf has accumulated a massive debt to a criminal casino, and seems particularly infatuated with roulette.
* NeverSayDie: The english dub has the jackals use euphenisms or talk about throwing hom out. On the other hand the finnish dub has them explicitly talk about killing him and threatening to do so.
* TheMafia: The jackals who run the casino in Murena and almost murder Dolf over his gambling debt have Italian accents.
* ArgentinaIsANaziLand: Dolf, a Hitler expy, is seen in South America-based Arlon continent, and says he has been living there for a while.
* ApocalypseHow: The world almost turns black and white.
* HammerSpace: Where did the sleeping bags come from? They didn't appear to be on the boat.
* MindControlEyes: Initially they're just red, but Pikkie's eyes start turning swirly as he looks on the gold pot.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: Pikkie when he sees the pot of gold.
* BodyHorror: Alfred is boiled until he turns red. What else might that entail?
* CaveBehindAWaterfall: The pot of gold's location.
* DubNameChange:
** A minor one, but in the finnish dub queen Nora is queen Noora.
** Murena is named Moreena/Morena in the finnish dub.
* StewedAlive: Alfred almost dies this way. When he's finally pulled out, he has turned red.
* AdultFear: Henk has to watch his son being boiled almost to death, while being tied down and unable to do anything.
* SpoilerTitle: In finnish,"The pot of gold dissappears". At least the finnish titles aren't shown in the beginning, only the dutch ones which were presumably drawn in.
* UnexpectedCharacter: You propably weren't expecting for Dolf to make a sudden appearance.
