''[[Film/PaulBlartMallCop Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2]]'' is many things. A Creator/KevinJames vehicle, a Creator/HappyMadisonProductions flick, potentially a religious experience. It is not, however, a good movie. Fortunately, that's never stopped anyone from enjoying things before. This is where the hosts come in.

Added DiffLines:

* ActuallyPrettyFunny: While the host's feelings towards the movie and individual jokes change from year to year, there are two scenes that they always agree are universally funny: the scene where Muhrtelle the janitor eats a very old banana, and the part where Paul is attacked by a large bird in a garden.

Added DiffLines:

* LegacyCharacter: The hosts plan to watch and review the film every year until they die, at which point their spot on the podcast will be given over to a replacement of their choosing. Most years at least one of the hosts will make a nomination, ranging from friends and family to celebrities.

Added DiffLines:

* MushroomSamba: A realistically downplayed example. Prior to his 2019 watch, Tim takes half a tab of acid and watches it in VR. Instead of anything spectacular he mostly just has a difficult time focusing on the film or taking notes on the experience, and seems to be still a bit out of it at the time of recording. All in all, he calls it a waste of a trip.

Alternative Character Interpretation is YMMV, don't put it on the main tropes page

* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Given the limited material they have to work with and the nature of the podcast, the hosts come up with a lot of speculation:
** Paul Blart: is he a caring father, but not a good one? Is he an immortal demigod, a CosmicPlaything, a misogynistic creep, a multidimensional traveler, or all of the above?
** Is the Shadow Man really behind all of Paul Blart's suffering, or is he simply an amused bystander? If he is responsible, how far back do his machinations go? Did he orchestrate either of Paul's divorces, or his mother's death?
** Is Lane a kind young man with a crush on Maya, a [[Film/VanWilder Van Wilder-esque]] Casanova using the hotel to pick up girls, a ghost trapped in the hotel, or trapped between dimensions?
** Is Vincent a competent thief, or is he as clueless as Paul Blart?
** Pretty much the only person who doesn't get any of this is Maya, who the hosts agree is a lovely young woman in some pretty terrible circumstances.
