With only '''four''' machines made, it is a retro throwback to the early electro-mechanicals of TheFifties without any of the accoutrements of modern pinball games.
In 2009, sensing a growing interest in "boutique" pinball games, Nordman and Feres reunited at Seattle's Northwest Pinball and Gameroom Show to form [=WhizBang=] Pinball. The first machine was an electro-mechanical table, formed by cannibalizing a 1957 Creator/{{Gottlieb}} ''Continental Cafe'', then incorporating them with an all-new playfield design, original art, and modern lighting and imaging techniques. Three other machines were similarly made, but using a modular solid state system called "PinKit".
''Whoa Nellie! Big Juicy Melons'' was officially unveiled at Pinball Expo 2011, and all four were sold for a rumored price of $14,000 each. Die-hard fans have taken to creating their own ''Big Juicy Melons'' tables, with Greg Freres sharing the cabinet art and reproduction plastics by [[http://www.classicplayfields.com Classic Playfields.]]
Creator/SternPinball is exploring the feasibility of building a small production run, but nothing definite has been announced yet.

!!Whoa Nellie! Check out these tropes!
* AbsoluteClevage: On all the girls.
* AlcoholHic: There's a ''very'' drunk guy in the lower-left corner of the playfield.
-->'''Drunk:''' "''*Hic*'' The brest band ''*Hic*'' best brand ''*Hic*'' ever!"
* ArtShift: The ''Big Juicy Melons'' machine eschews the conventional pinball machine design to look like a series of melon crates stacked on top of each other.
* BadAssBeard: Papa Mellon has one.
* BareYourMidriff[=/=]WhoWearsShortShorts: Melony and Ellen.
* BlondeBrunetteRedhead: Melony and the twins. Melony has blonde hair, Hellen has medium-brown hair, and Ellen's hair is almost completely black.
* {{Cap}}: The score caps at 9,999 points, as there are only four scoring reels in the backbox.
* DoesThisRemindYouOfAnything[=/=]DoubleEntendre: The game is ''filled'' with these, shamelessly and unabashedly, usually involving the girls and big melons.
-->'''Hick:''' (pointing at a flock of geese) "Look at them honkers!"
* DoingItForTheArt
* EverythingsBetterWithCows: There's a wry cow in the lower-right corner of the playfield.
-->'''Cow:''' "Complete and udder nonsense."
* {{Fanservice}}: '''LOTS.''' Lifting all those heavy melon crates requires lots of bending over...
* FarmersDaughter: The Mellon girls -- Melony, Ellen, and Hellen.
* FartsOnFire: A bucking horse on the playfield gets its flatulence lit by a match, forming a fireball (score light).
* GirlishPigtails: The twins have these; Hellen has one, while Ellen has two.
* GonnaNeedMoreX: One of the playfield plastics has a photographer who comments, "I need a bigger... lens."
* HelloNurse: On the backglass, Melony is standing while holding a pair of melons, oblivious to the lustful men (and their various catastrophies) behind her.
* TheMerch: "Big Juicy Melons" T-shirts are available.
* MsFanservice: Melony and her sisters, full stop.
* OverprotectiveDad: The Mellon patriarch, complete with shotgun.
-->'''Dad:''' "Hands off the twins!"
* {{Retraux}}
* ShesGotLegs: Melony shows off a pair of shapely legs right above the flippers.
* ToiletHumour: One of the playfield plastics shows a horse shooting a green melon out of its posterior.
* VisualPun: The horse with its [[FartsOnFire fart on fire]] is a "hot ass".
