Loads And Loads Of Characters is no longer a trope

For starters, the Dragon God who, though it has never been seen, is the greatest divinity in the setting (presumably by virtue of being a kind of AnthropomorphicPersonification of all east-Asian mythology).

* ''VideoGame/EldenRing'', being a game very focused on the concept of religion and divinity, has several ''tiers'' of physical gods:
** On the lowest rung of the 'godly' part, there are Demigods: the sons and daughters of [[GodEmperor Marika The Eternal]] and their descendants. The Elden Lord, the ruler-consort of Marika, is also considered a Demigod for political and power uses, despite all of them being mortals who ascended to that position through taking Marika in marriage. The descendants of demigods, like Godrick, have 'diluted blood' that makes them lack this innate power.

This is a huge stretch because it didn't cause the Warrior of Light to ascend nor take on the mantle of godhood. I'm trying to keep spoilers to a minimum since this isn't an FFXIV page, so I'll just say this: all this means is that the Warrior of Light joined an exclusive club of other characters who are in the same situation. None of whom are PhysicalGods.
