One man, Kiichi Momzaki, had a dream to bring back Saga its independance, and was helped by others to bring his vision into reality, like Yugiri and Seijiro Itou. Unfortunately, Itou was a government assassin sent to quash any attempts at rebellion, and was fully willing to kill Kiichi to fulfill his mission. Ultimately, he was slain by Yugiri, who chose to take the fall for the rebellion and the death of the rebels, annd was excecuted in place of Kiichi so he could escape and continue his rebellion. Such a brave sacrifice earned her the respect of Lelouch Lamperouge, who also took the fall to see his dreams of revolution fully realized. To let onself fall for the sake of the greater good is a very difficult thing, and he personally congratulated her once he met up with her and learned of her story. Yugiri, on her part, finds Lelouch to be an interesting fellow. He made a lot of difficult decisions in pursuit of his dreams, all while he was a high school teenager... not unlike herself.

* Japan is divided into 47 prefectures, one of them being Saga on the island of Kyushu. Have you ever heard of Saga before? No? Yeah, that's pretty expected. It's certainly not well known even on a national scale, with not much exceptional people hailing from there or even many important events happening there to give it notoriety. It's almost as if the whole prefecture is cursed to languish in obscurity until it finally fades from existence... and one man, Kotaro Tatsumi, refuses to let that happen. So what does he do? Why, make an idol group, of course! And not just any idol group, but one consisting of zombies who died tragically young in different eras! And so, he builds Franchouchou, consisting of many legendary figures for Saga; the leader of all-female biker gang Dorami Saki Nikaido, lead singer of idol group Iron Frill Ai Mizuno, 80's solo idol Junko Konno, Meiji era courtesan Yugiri, child star Lily Hoshikawa, the legendary Tae Yamada, and last but not least, his dear friend and would-be aspiring idol Sakura Minamoto. Brought back from the dead, the now undead girls work their hardest to become successful and bring Saga the attention it needs, while trying to hide the true nature of their existence to the public.
* Concerts are a mainstay in the House of Pantheon/Musicality, for many musicians, whether they're rock stars, singer-songwriters or idol singers, want to perform on front of an audience. Once such concert was like any other, except with one notable difference; the opening act would be from an idol group yet unheard of in the Pantheon. That idol group would be Franchouchou, an up-and-coming band hailing from Saga. Their performance went by swimmingly, with their dance moves and lyrics captivating the audience as they waved their glowsticks in the air. The special effects were nothing to sneeze at either; heck, some could swear that the girls were glowing during a song! And when they were done, the idols stood and bowed at the audience as they cheered... and then a huge water bucket overhead tipped over and poured water all over them! Likely a prank from some mischievous deity. All soaking wet, their makeup washed away, revealing their UndeathlyPallor and scars. With gasps echoing through the room, the girls braced for the worst, knowing that they've been outed... only for an even louder applause to erupt as everyone cheered wildly. At disbelief, they took their bows again before heading offstage. No one fears them for being zombies all along...? Turns out, with the humongous amount of crazy weirdness that happens on a daily basis in the Pantheon, most people really don't care about them being zombies; it's actually pretty tame by their standards. Awarded with a divine title for their smashing performance, Franchouchou continues their journey to save Saga... with a few differences along the way.
* With the cat out of the bag and no one really freaking out about the cat, Kotaro and the girls had to switch gears about how to handle Franchouchou in the Pantheon. For example, they no longer have to hide their true undead selves to the public, since it's a non-issue in the divine realm. In fact, Franchouchou is now actively advertised as "the #1 zombie idol group" since such a concept is a pretty good gimmick needed to stand out among the others. While they still do the more traditional "human" performances, they also incorporate undead elements in their concerts as well, such as performing without wearing makeup and detaching their body parts for certain dances. In fact, they happen to be in very big demand come Halloween, where such spookiness is all over the land and they can fully embrace their undead sides. With there being much competition around, the girls have to work hard to not get overshadowed by the others. And their rivals are quite varied as well; you got your solo idols like Sayaka Maizono and Rise Kujikawa, idol groups like LOONA, 765 Pro, μ's and Aqours, individual members of idol groups like Eri Karan, and even more fantastical ones like the superpowered Uta, the wartime singer Freyja Wion and anthropomorphic sealife duos like the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook. While they compete against their rivals a lot, that doesn't mean they hate them; in fact, there's a mutual respect between them, wishing each other well and taking any wins and losses with grace. Plus, they're not opposed to any potential collaborations; who knows what they could do with others? So many possibilities have opened up in this new world.
* Back home, the seven had to hide their existence as zombies away from the public, as such things are unbecoming of an idol, and people learning that zombies are real would be very bad anyway. It would scare the pants off of them, for starters, and who knows if someone pieces together that they're famous people brought back to life? That would be incredibly problematic! However, since everyone is accustomed to all sorts of fantastical and undead creatures in the Pantheon, the girls have no need to hide their true selves. In fact, Kotaro has allowed them to wander around freely in the Pantheon with no restrictions at all (except for Tae, who needs someone to accompany her still)! The girls are all happy to live out their lives outside of the idol business at last without having to hold up a disguise in public, and gladly indulge in things that they missed dearly in life. Of course, they're not the only zombies around, so it didn't take too long for the girls to meet a few friendly zombies themselves. First of all, Rottytops was the one who made them get accustomed to their new living space in the divine realm, with her giving them a full tour of the entire Pantheon/UndeadAndPhasmata House. While the group are grateful to her, they do have to content with her more mischievous acts at times... her pranks and schemes aren't too dissimilar from Kotaro's, actually. Chihiro Furuya, zombie fanboy extraordinaire, predictably fell in love with an idol group consisting of cute zombie girls and immediately introduced them to his zombie girlfriend Rea Sanka. The seven were not used to getting praised for being zombies by others, but decided it was better to accept it sooner or later, for the Pantheon works far differently than Earth. They get along with Rea just fine, but are disturbed by her horrifyiong past with her sexually abusive father. Becoming a zombie was unironically a huge improvement in that regard. Meanwhile, Chihiro became one of their most vocal fans. While not a zombie, Koume Shirasaka also got quickly attached to the zombie girls like Chihiro, for she loves all things undead and gruesome, already considering them the best idol group around for appealing to her taste. She likes to make requests about making their shows even spookier and even having collabs with them! Hm, something to keep in mind for the future...
** Unfortunately, not all zombies can be so nice and friendly. In fact, a good chunk of them are quite hostile and dangerous, whether they're mindless ravenous beasts or sadistic monsters who retained their evil beyond death. Needless to say, Franchouchou wants nothing to do with any of them and always denies any associations with those malevolent beings whenever some damnable tabloid accuses them of being a front for a zombie apocalypse or something sinister like that. Feral zombies like the Triombies, the Green Flu Special Infected and Doc Zomboss' zombies are completely unwelcome in their concerts, both for their own and their fans safety. They don't even entertain the idea of even getting near them, for they might end up as their latest brain snacks. And for the sapient ones... Hoo boy. Nagash and Nekron, despicable lords of the dead, have their eyes set on them as they do with all of the undead. With Nagash's mastery of necromancy and Nekron's domain over all those who unlive, they both desire to add the idol group to their repertoire of eternal servants and slaves. Franchouchou lives in fear of them ever trying to advance of their plans, to strip them of their free will and minds and reverting them to mindless destructive beasts who know nothing but to feed and kill.
** While they're the only zombie idol group in the Pantheon, that doesn't mean they're the only undead musicians around. They learned this fact when Brook waltzed up to them, guitar in hand. Their first meeting quickly turned hectic when he politely requested to see their panties, which earned him a beating at the hands of an enraged Ai. Thankfully, their relationship was mended (it wasn't the first time Brook was beaten up due to such perverted statements) and Brook became one of their fervant supporters, attending their concerts and advertising them whenever he can. Of course, he won't stop cracking his unfunny "Skeleton Jokes" around them even if they groan at them every time. Their relations with Lord Raptor, the [=NecroDancer=] and Ember [=McLain=] are far more hostile. Ember's desire to brainwash others into becoming her adoring fans immediately made her a rival in Kotaro's eyes. After all, Saga can't be saved if she hogs all the attention for herself! Meanwhile, the [=NecroDancer's=] ability to control anyone with his music and reanimate the dead makes the girls fear that he might try to control them and add them to his undead army. Lastly, Lord Raptor disgusts the girls for his horrendous actions, especially sacrificing his audience as his final act as a cult leader. His continued evil as a zombie while carrying his ax only made them more disgusted with him, both for extreme disapproval over his actions and knowing that he could taint their reputation just because they're both undead musicians.
** Surviving a zombie apocalypse is not an easy feat. It is a hard, grueling and traumatizing lifestyle where every day is a fight to live another day and seeing your loved ones either die or turn into a rotting shell of themselves. With time, those living in such environments will grow to hate and fear zombies. It's probably no surprise that those who lived through such horrible circumstances would be wary of a gang of zombies like Franchouchou. It's such a complicated situation... even if they're mostly still the people they were in life, them being undead still brings back bad memories. Tae being the only feral one makes them even more unnerved; to see an adult woman like her stumble and moan about with barely any lucidity remaining... it brings them the shivers. This is why you'd never see those like Gordon Freeman, Adrian Shephard, the Green Flu survivors, Joel, Ellie, Rick Grimes, Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, Leon Kennedy, Lee Everett and Clementine at their concerts. For teens like the School Life club, Rei Miyamoto and Saeko Busujima, it's even more uncomfortable since being teenagers, they've seen many people their age turned into shambling corpses... the sight of more undead teens makes their stomach drop. It's sad, but it's not unexpected and unjustified for them to think that way.
** And then there are those who really, really hate zombies. They hate them so much that they've dedicated themselves to exterminating them from the face of the earth. Zombie hunters are a massive thorn on Franchouchou's side because they're all too willing to hack the girls apart for the crime of existing. For example, Juliet Starling, very used to killing her zombified classmates, tried to kill the girls with her trusty chainsaw. To her surprise, they were far harder to kill as they retained conciousness even after getting decapitated and unarmed. The girls eventually managed to escape from her and she's been banned from their shows ever since. Similarly, Jimmy Patterson is intensely suspicious of the seven, as he had to deal with malevolent intelligent zombies during one of his weirdest missions. He was put on the banlist as well to prevent him from shooting the girls. But conventional weapons aren't the only thing that zombie hunters use; some have holy magic on their side to smite the undead menace and bring them back to the grave where they belong. For example, Artix Von Krieger the paladin is all too eager to smite the undead, and unfortunately Franchouchou are no expection. The girls have resorted to siccing Pinkie Pie on him to scare him away. Likewise, "useless goddess" Aqua absolutely hates the undead and wants them all purged, and unlike most cases this isn't something to laugh over. When a weak light spell from her can make a near-invincible lich like Ainz Ooal Gown scream in pain, you know that she's a genuine threat and not a joke to the undead, and besides, there's no way to predict what an idiot would do next. Both have been banned from their premises for their utmost safety; after all, they can survive dismemberment, blunt trauma and impalement, but holy magic? Probably not so. While probably not as actively dangerous as the others, the Bloom and Doom Co. plants are avoided by the idols for they don't want to be pelted by plant products just by getting near their lawns.
* Would you believe that Saga is cursed? It's not just a metaphor for its obscurity, not at all. There is a force that haunts the prefecture, wanting nothing but the complete eradication of Saga. Only when it has been completely destroyed and forgotten by humanity will it be satisfied. Anyone who has the potential to make Saga rise to a brighter spotlight will have their lives quickly snuffed out. This is why Franchouchou exists; as zombies who have already died, they cannot be killed a second time and thus have a better chance of bringing attention to the prefecture. Even in the Pantheon, the girls haven't stopped their efforts in making everyone know about Saga. Marnie sympathises with the girls, as she too is working hard to improve the reputation and standing of her home city Spikemuth by becoming a Pokemon trainer and trying to become the Champion of Galar. Sometimes, she helps out in advertising their shows and they pay back by bringing more attention to Spikemuth. Who knows, maybe they'll collaborate with her brother Piers one day! But they cannot give up on their mission; so long as the curse exists, the zombies cannot rest.
* One night, the girls of Franchouchou had a strange dream. They were in an unfamilar industrial city, where they were preparing to host their next concert a week later. There, they practiced singing and dancing and did some part-time jobs as usual for them. However, it was not Kotaro who was training them, but a strange person wearing a gas mask who only went by the title "Commander". Not only that, but they met and danced with plenty of girls who were named after firearms. Of course, being a dream, the girls supposed it wasn't much to talk about aside from the oddly collective experience they had... until they entered the Pantheon. Some of the girls carrying guns around... they looked very familiar. Wait a minute, they're the exact girls from their dream! They were shocked to see that they were real after all. The T-Dolls, while having never met them, felt a strange deja vu when they saw the zombie idol group. This proved to be a good jumping off point for the idols to get on the mechanical girls good graces and forge real friendships with each other. When they have free time, expect the two unlikely groups to sing karaoke and practice dance routines together.
* Number 1: Sakura Minamoto. She's the emotional anchor of the team, providing her friends with companionship and an understanding ear whenever they showcase their woes. Through her kind presence, the members have managed to grow as a person, be a team player, and allow themselves to be more vulnerable. And when Sakura was at her lowest, everyone banded together to repay the favor by lifting her up from the dark, as without her they wouldn't be stable as a group. A friendly emotional center like her would obviously become friends with fellow emotional centers like Tohru Honda and Steven Universe, and Sakura, to no one's surprise, befriended them very quickly. To have such high empathy that they can reach out their hands to anyone and give them love, even those who might seem undeserving of such compassion, and make everyone better through their selflessness... that's incredibly admirable. Even Sakura's amazed that they didn't stop loving everyone even when most others would give up on saving others. Like her, the two eventually needed help from others to be lifted up from their darkness, like Tohru's lack of self-worth and clinging onto the memory of her dead mother and Steven's aimlessness with the world no longer in danger and trauma from all the harrowing experiences he went through. Even people who help others need to be helped sometimes... they can't hold all that weight by themselves. The three indeed became close after pouring their hearts out, and hang out sometimes as good friends.
** When Sakura became a zombie, she lost all of her memories prior to her awakening. Perhaps getting bumped on the noggin scrambled her brain quite a bit. She eventually regained all her past memories after getting rammed by a truck again... at the cost of her current memories, which sunk her into a period of self-loathing. Thankfully, with the support of her friends, she got back her postmortem memories as well. To her surprise, Sakura found out that such an issue was far more common than she thought. Folks like Robin, Alear, Kaban, Dust and Hal all lost their memories and went on a journey to discover who they were, with varying results. It can be pretty shocking to find out exactly who you were in the past. While she gets along with them well enough, she doesn wonder; would it be good to make a support group for amnesiacs? That's kind of a harrowing problem... and it's shockingly common among people.
** In life, Sakura had the worst luck possible. Just as things seem to go well for her, something happens that completely sabotages her attempts to succeed. Playing the lead row in a school play? She gets mumps on the day of the show. Studying to get into the highschool of her choice? She nearly ends up late to the exam, panics and fails to get in. Her clumsiness and misfortune is also a factor in her once-unfortunate life, as her running headlong into the street without watching out for traffic is what did her in. This misfortune made her relate to Yuuko Aioi and Anna Hanakoizumi, who are always given the short end of the stick in life, with nothing going right for them on a daily basis. She's surprised that they can maintain an upbeat attitute in spite of their multiple failures... are they hiding their issues? No, they're that unbothered. She's actually a bit jealous, wishing that she had their mental fortitude. On the other hand, after hearing of how much of disaster magnets Qrow Branwen, Milo Murphy, the Shelbys and Shion Yorigami are, Sakura makes an effort to say away from them as to not get their brand of unluckiness stuck on her. It wouldn't be nice to relive those terrible moments again.
** Sakura's death is a mundane yet sudden one. One morning, she was running out the door, excited to submit her idol application papers so she can be just like the Iron Frill members when BAM! A truck rammed into her, killing her instantly. Since her head was impacted first, she got a large scar on her forehead and lost her premortem memories for quite some time. Nowadays, she's far more cautious about crossing the street so she doesn't end up as roadkill again. Yes, she won't die from it, but it's still very unpleasant, plus it can give her amnesia again should her cranium get bashed in again. She's super cautious in the House of Pantheon/Travel, not wanting to get hit by the mysterious runaway truck and get whisked away to another world. Death by vehicular ramming is sadly a common death for many lifeforms, and for two, such an end was only the beginning of crazy adventures. For example, Yusuke Urameshi became a Spirit Detective after being brought back to life and fights lots of demons ravaging the Earth while Kazuma Satou was reborn in a new world and goes on wacky adventures with his newfound quirky party. Sakura can't believe that they got into such insane events after their supposed deaths and- hold on, Kazuma didn't get run over by a truck, he just expired in front of a slow tractor while completely sleep deprieved! That's... really bizarre, pathetic and somehow even more unlucky than she ever was. How DID he die like that? Sakura's still questioning that to this day.
* Number 2: Saki Nikaido. She's a rough and tough delinquent who roared across the streets with her biker gang, taking no shit from anybody. With that comes a headstrong and fiery personality, always ready to give it her all and can tustle with the toughest foes in a fight. With the Pantheon containing so many colorful personalities, one's bound to crash into a delinquent sooner and later, and certainly enough, Saki met quite a few. First of all, she gets along very well with the Tohoshiki, Yuki Takamiya and Nenji Ogata, respecting their strength and guts. In particular, she respects the Tohoshiki's power over the rest of their classmates, keeping them in check with their authority. Even delinquents respect the hierarchy, for messing with gangs bigger and stronger than you is a free ticket to getting your ass kicked. As for the Curtis Gang and Aubrey, she does pity them a bit for their bad backgrounds and experiences. Sometimes, people turn to delinquency because they've been hurt and seek and escape from that pain. Still, she tries her best to be a good friend to them, and they appreciate their efforts. Maybe, she thought, she can introduce them to bike-riding, just for the cool factor.
** Saki was the leader of Dorami, an all female biker gang notorious in Kyushu, running over their opposition without mercy. With her death, the gang sputtered to a near halt, with only three woefully unprepared teenage girls filling up the ranks as of today. With her newfound freedom in the Pantheon, Saki took to the streets again, feeling the wind whip past her ears on a brand new motorbike like the good old days. It was just a regular day when she met Celty Sturluson, a fellow bike rider with one stunning bike. Intrigued, Saki beckoned her for a race, which Celty agreed to. Their race was intense, with the two exceeding the speed limits of the highways while going neck-and-neck all the way. Ultimately, Celty was the winner of the race, with cemented their newfound friendship together. Saki was less-than-shocked when she discovered that Celty's a dullahan missing her head, cus hey, she's gotten too used to her friends literally losing their heads, so this isn't new to her. Speaking of biker gangs, Jax Teller wanted to become the leader of biker gang SAMCRO to reform the anarchic group into a safer, more benevolent form. Unfortunately, circustances led him down a dark path of vengeance, leading to him becoming a self-made pariah and eventualy taking his own life to be an example to say away from his former gang. Saki feels nothing but pity for the man for his terrible life story. Balancing the life of a delinquent and a family man is no easy task, and more often then not, it just leads to disaster.
** Would you believe a rough and tumble girl like Saki would have a Tamagotchi? Well, she did. Back when she was alive, she used to have one that she greatly treasured, to the point that she mourned her Tamagotchi's death after her revival. Said Tamagotchi device is now in former Dorami co-leader Reiko's hands as a memento of Saki. You could imagine her surprise when she discovered that there were actual Tamagotchi in the Pantheon, ones that were actually alive and not just programs in a video game! She squeed in joy at the sight of them, cooing over how cute they are. The Tamagotchi likewise embranced her just as quickly, happy to make a new friend. She's now a regular visitor of theirs, playing with them just like with her old Tamagotchi pal. It might've come off as a shock, but everyone has a surprising side to them beneath the surface.
* Number 3: Ai Mizuno. The former leader of Iron Frill, she knows everything on how the whole idol business works. As such, Ai is often relied on by the other members to teach them about the ins and outs of performing like singing, dancing and choreography. In fact, she was Sakura's inspiration to become an idol! However, a negative side-effect is that others get overreliant on her, almost a crutch, which made Kotaro decide to make her work apart from the group for a short time so the other members can find their own footing. To be relied on by everyone is a considerable burden, especially so if "everyone" includes the entire world... like what a Paragon-aligned Commander Shepard and Superman have to deal with. Every day, both must carry the weight of not only their loved ones, but entire worlds on their sholdiers, for everyone relies on them to make everything right, as their immense power and skills made them beasts of burdens of sort. Ai was very much intimidated when she met them, feeling like a small bug compared to them and their galaxy-spanning feats and influence. The two reassured her that she's still important regardless of scale and to not give up on being a good and helpful person to anyone. Ai took their words to heart; even if she doesn't save the world like them, she's still an integral and vital member of Franchouchou, and nothing will change that.
** Ai's greatest strength and flaw is her work ethic. Once she puts her mind to something, she won't give up on it and work tirelessly even when her body is being pushed to its limits. While her determination is a great strength helping her to accomplish tasks, it also gives her a stubborn streak, with it being difficult to make her change her mind on things. Her serious and strict personality despite her young age put her on common ground with Azusa Nakano, who's the most serious member of Houkago Tea Time despite being younger than the other four girls. Azusa couldn't believe all the crazy stuff that Ai went through, while Ai wondered if Franchouchou would wear cat-ear headbands in a performance... actually, that's kinda embarrasing. Meeting the similarly headstrong leaderlike Shizune Hakamichi was a rather interesting challenge, in that she had to learn sign language to properly communicate with the deaf and mute girl. Thankfully, Misha was there to show Ai the ropes, allowing her to communicate with Shizune easier. Speaking of determination, she finds those like Link, Naruto Uzumaki, Frisk and Nyoro to be shining exemplars of a determined spirit, never giving up on anything. To her, they're inspirational examples that she must live up to, and those four respect her back for her undying spirit.
** To Ai, mistakes aren't a bad thing at all. Rather, they're useful opportunities to learn and grow, a way to help oneself with future problems. No matter how much she screws up, she'll always get up and try again with new experience. Out of anyone in existence, no one quite gets this moral as those stuck in time loops. In the case of William Cage, Subaru Natsuki and Homura Akemi, with every loop and every mistake, they learn from their experiences and try again with new tactics and plans, never giving up until they complete their mission. Even if she cannot relate to their fantastical situations, Ai still respects them for their tenacity and willingness to learn from their past mistakes. If you don't learn from the past, you'll doomed to repeat them in the future.
** Ai ended her final show and life with a near literal bang. One day, Iron Frill held a concert during a storm, and in the middle of the event, when Ai pointed up to the heavens as she thanked her fans, a lightning bolt struck her down, her charred corpse left standing exactly where she was in front of thousands of fans. Such a violent death left a deep scar on her psyche, for she curls up into a ball when faced with actual thunderstorms, is startled by flashes of light, and even avoids pointing upwards as to not reexperience her death again. Obviously, she's incredibly afraid of those who wield the power of electricity in their fingertips. Whether they're creatures like Pikachu, skilled hitmen like Gunvolt, delusional god wannabes like Eneru, actual gods like Zeus or sadistic soldiers like Volgin, she fears them all and runs like hell at the mere sight of them and their shocking might. Likewise, she never steps afoot in the Hall of Pantheon/Electricity for fear that she'll be smote on the spot by a stray lightning bolt. She can't understand how people like Ash Ketchum can survive being electrocuted multiple times and not die. How is that boy not dead yet?! It continues to boggle her mind.
* Number 4: Junko Konno. A solo idol from the Showa era, she's quite the shy one, being soft spoken, uncomfortable with doing photo sessions with fans as well as being somewhat lacking in the social skills department. Being a solo performer might've also been a factor in her initially being bad at working in a group, and spending her mortal career not directly interacting with her fans made her underprepared for meet-and-greets and the like. Hearing of Hitori Gotoh, a similarly shy musician, she decided to meet her in person as both are very skilled with the guitar. Unfortunately, Junko forgot to apply makeup when making her first impression... she and Bocchi scared the living daylights out of each other when they first met; Bocchi got scared when a stitched up zombie suddenly appeared, and Junko got spooked when Hitori entered another one of her freakouts. It took a while for them to get back on their good graces without any mishaps happening, but when it did, Junko became another one of Hitori's slowly growing circle of friends. Their idea of hanging out is playing guitar together, though Junko wears her makeup around Bocchi as to not scare her again. Junko also met Fluttershy, who likewise initially got spooked over her being a zombie, but things simmered down and they became friends. Junko can understand why Fluttershy's more comfortable around animals than other people; somehow, they're not as intimidating compared to beings that can talk back at you.
** Back in her day, idols were expected to be icons of perfection, aspirational figures that fans can admire from afar. As such, showing any imperfections in front of the cameras is the greatest sin an idol could ever make. Since the idol industry has changed much between her passing and resurrection, Junko has a difficult time getting used to the somewhat laxer standards of idols in the 21st century. Such an ideal is what Artoria Pendragon pursued, forsaking her emotions and human connections for the sake of being Britain's perfect king. But this ideal made her people see their king as inhuman, and contributed to the fall of her reign. While not an exact match, Junko can sympathise with Artoria's situation and struggles to keep her image intact for the sake of her position. Meeting her was quite scary for the zombie idol, finding the Briton king intimidating, but Artoria comfortably welcomed her all the same. Whenever Junko has leftover food, she gives them to Artoria for her to snack on.
** Junko's death is something that many people fear and would inevitably catch on news headlines; the airplane she was riding fell and crashed into the ocean with no survivors. This violent death gave her a great fear of heights and an aversion to being on an airplane or any sort of high altitude vehicle. Hearing horror stories of Launchpad [=McQuack=]'s bad tendency to crash the planes he pilots and Joseph Joestar's uncanny ability to cause any plane he's in to crash made her resolve to never get on a ride with them so she doesn't get torn to shreds again on the inevitably fiery descent. She highly respects Ted Striker for his efforts to ensure that the plane he's on doesn't crash and kill everyone on board, especially with all the wacky antics happening within the cabin. It ony makes it more impressive in her eyes.
* Number 5: Yugiri. Unlike the others who lived in more recent years, she was born during the Meiji Restoration in the 19th century, a temporal fish out of water. While such a jump ahead in time would paralyze many, Yugiri decided to go with the flow, for constant confusion wouldn't help anyone. Likewise, she has taken all the wackiness of the Pantheon in stride, welcoming the opportunity to see and experience new things. Speaking of jumping ahead in time, those like Philip J. Fry, Aang, Senku Ishigami and Rip Van Winkle have awakened many years in the future, from the span of a decade to a hundred years to even at least a thousand years later. She sometimes hangs out with them to discuss how much their worlds have changed, and how they dealt with it. Whether it's Aang having to stop a war that raged for over a hundred years, Senku restarting human progress from stratch, Fry taking in the future like a fish takes to water or Winkle being alienated by the changes around them, Yugiri is enraptured by all of their tales and experiences. With a reawakening comes a great opportunity to discover so many new things.
** Whenever someone is wallowing in despair and moping about how bad things are, Yugiri can be counted on to smack their senses back into them and tell them the bright side. Although, by the time she does slap them, most people have already snapped out of it, so it ends up as kinda redundant. Oh well, it's the thought that counts, right? Likewise, Punishing Bird's incessant pecking is also effective in snapping someone out of a panicking stupor, and while Yugiri finds that admirable, she isn't so keen on his violent retribution on those who are too sinful. When punishment is delivered by devouring the guilty with a second mouth on his ones stomach regardless of the magnitude of their sins, that's when discipline becomes overkill. Out of precaution, Yugiri avoids the bird Abnormality so that she doesn't end up torn apart in his jaws.
** During her lifetime, Yugiri was an oiran, a courtesan if you will. Being an entertainer, she had many skills to serve her clients, such as dancing, singing, playing the shamisen and... more intimate services, to say the least. Such a profession would normally disqualify her from being an idol due to the ContractualPurity endemic in the industry, but Franchouchou is not an ordinary idol group and Kotaro is not an ordinary producer. No, she won't give out any of those services, there are other places to indulge in carnal pleasures in the Pantheon. But just because she isn't in that profession anymore doesn't mean she can't hang out with other courtesans, like the foxy Tamamo-no-mae. Yugiri finds the kitsune fascinating, with her wild stories and eccentric personality. And her dreams of finding a husband makes her think of a certain man she once loved... and can never reunite with. Curious to see how the profession has evolved, she bonded and shared stories with Belle du Jour and Dorothy Haze, prostitutes of the modern and future eras. Dorothy in particular is just as interesting as Tamamo; a robot made with sexual compatibilty in mind? The future is full of surprises, it seems.
** Back when Yugiri was alive, Saga was not its own Prefecture. Rather, it was merged into Nagasaki following the Saga Rebellion in 1874.
* Number 6: Lily Hoshikawa. A child star who took TV by storm, she became a network darling with her charming performances. Not many people can attest to being so famous at a young age, plus her cute looks helped her build a large fanbase. Alas, the life of a performer is a very stressful one, and it kept piling up until her heart gave out and sent her to an early grave. Her premortem career caught the attention of fellow child actor Yuzuki Shiraishi, who met up with Lily to share her own experiences as a child actor. While not as lethally strenuous as the zombie girl's, said career did take a heavy toll on her life, namely being unable to have friends for a long time due to being so busy with her work and others only being interested in the actor and not the person she really is. The two were happy to make a new friend, especially one who could relate to such stressful work at a young age. Inwardly, Yuzuki considered herself lucky that her health didn't deteriorate due to showbiz stress... that happens more often than most people know.
** Zombies don't age. How could they? They're corpses, and corpses don't grow and develop over time. This is a pretty great thing for Lily, as it means she can stay young and cute forever and not worry about growing up into a more uncomfortable body. When it comes to staying young forever, there's no one who gets it better than Peter Pan, the immortal unaging boy from Neverland. Hearing of eternal youths outside of Neverland always piques his curiousity, for he'd never hear of such a thing happening outside of his longtime home. No surprise that they became quick friends over their shared perpetual childhoods. Unfortunately, even if Lily can't die a second time and can survive anything, she still has to dissuade Peter Pan from subjecting her from more dangerous pranks that would be lethal to a regular person. Hey, just because dying ain't an option doesn't mean that getting hurt isn't any less unpleasant!
** People's bodies change drastically when they grow up, and it can be quite a shock to see ones transition from a child to a teen and then to an adult. For some like Lily, these changes are very unpleasant, as they don't reflect who they really are on the inside at all. You see, Lily was assigned male at birth with the name "Masao Go", but her egg cracked rather early, way before she stepped onto the stage. Her death was partially caused by a nasty case of gender dysphoria, where her heart attack came immediately after she noticed a single strand of facial hair one day. Becoming a zombie made her fully embrace her true self and not look back. Hearing of the Hall of Pantheon/GenderSexChanges, Lily decided to give it a visit to see if there are other people with similar stories around. To her elation, there just so happens to be at least two trans people around, namely Poison and Max Owen, and she wasted no time in asking them about their experiences. Max's journey was pretty out there, with the whole magical girl business clashing with his gender identity, but it's damn relieving to hear how his magical outfit shifted to something more comfortably masculine and not uncomfortably feminine, something that truly expresses who he is. Meanwhile, she sees Poison as a CoolBigSis, being amazed at her confidence. Outside of the Hall, she met up and befriended fellow trans persons Bridget, Madeline, and Hana. In Bridget's case, she's proud of her for her journey of self-discovery, knowing that such a deep dive into the self is difficult and scary, but it certainly pays off and leaves one happier in the end. Whenever she hangs out with them, there's often talks of their experiences, feelings, and encouragement to keep on going and to remain true to themselves, regardless of what other people think. Unlike the others, she keeps her distance from Myra Beckingridge. Even if she agrees with her overall goals, her chaotic actions and casual disregard for whatever damage she causes makes her hesitant on approaching her.
* And last but certainly not least, number 0, the legendary Tae Yamada! What is she legendary for? Well, don't ask her; she can't tell you anything about it. In fact, she can't say anything intelligible at all. Unlike the other girls, she failed to properly awaken and thus is stuck in a feral state with no obvious indications of what she was like in life. Unless a miracle happens, she's stuck as a shambling, moaning creature for the rest of her unlife. The sight of an adult woman in such a state is rather unsettling to some, knowing that she was once a regular human that was brought back as a shadow of herself. Of those people are the Elric brothers, who tried to bring their late mother back with alchemy, with disastrous results. Not only was she brought back as a hulking monster, but the event led to Edward losing half of his limbs and Alphonse losing his entire body. Seeing Tae makes them flash back to that horrific day, and they cannot stand being around her without such awful memories resurfacing. While Tae cannot comprehend such complex emotional pain anymore, she does know that they're hurting whenever they look at her and feels sad about it. But no matter what she does, it never improves her relationship with them.
** Tae might not be bright anymore, but the size of her brain is inversely proportional to her stomach. Her appetite is massive and there isn't a moment where she isn't biting and chewing on something, whether it's food like raw chicken, dry squid and eels or even people. Don't worry, she mostly bites people out of affection. Unfortunately, there was a time where she tried to eat some Inklings and Ika Musume, having mistaken them for her favorite snack. While she quickly spat away from the Inklings due to finding their inky bodies gross, her jaw latched onto Ika very tightly and wouldn't let go, creating an incident where the Franchouchou girls had to pry her off the panicking squid girl. Nowadays, both squid people avoid her as to not be mistaken for food again. Thankfully, she did make friends with Kirby, Yuyuko Saigyouji and Beelzebub of the Seven Mortal Sins, whose appetites are just as large, if not bigger, than hers. When they're together, expect them to strip an entire buffet's worth of food completely empty.
** With Tae being unable to speak coherently and Kotaro being unhelpful when asked, it seems that Tae's human life will forever be a mystery... [[spoiler:Or is it? Rumor has it that back in the 80's, there was an all-female fighting group called the Sagako Busters, who dedicated their lives to fighting the Sagako demons that haunted the prefecture... and Tae Yamada herself was their fierce and powerful leader! Cool and composed, she puts in her all to kill the demonic threat that killed her parents when she was a child. This piques the interest of many a demon hunter such as Dante. An idol group has an actual demon slayer in their ranks? If she'd awaken, then perhaps she can rejoin the fight against the demonic hordes sometime! Alas, should she ever awake, it would be more likely for her sister to come back, for their fusion killed off the Tae personality forever...]]
