* Ever since she managed to bring in the Prinnies into the Pantheon, she has begun to question this choice. Aran was dauntless, even when Brick shrugged off his dirty moves and even his glove-on-a-rope didn't stop the Berserker. Brick, on the other hand, enjoyed the fact the Irish boxer kept going after him even after being punched relenlessly with his massive fists and was glad to find someone [[{{Determinator}} who would not give up]]. Neither one backed off until they grew too tired and hungry to go on. Needless to say, Brick was glad there was someone who could actually keep up with him in the stamina department.

Juri and Chun-Li encountered each other as enemies following Juri's vicious attack on the Dolls, with Chun-Li failing to arrest the Dark Spider at least twice. ** He wasn't however happy to see Ragna, nor was Ragna very happy to see him. But he was even ''less'' happy to hear that both Relius and Terumi were here in pantheon. Knowing that they were still around has encouraged Valkenhayn to search and make new allies, along with the ~~hackers manipulated~~ others that Rachel had made, to ~~serve Shadaloo's final plan; and ultimately~~ finally put an end to the two ~~very different units working~~ hated gods.
* While not many werewolves in ~~concert as [[spoiler:Nash sacrificed himself~~ Pantheon [[OurWerewolvesAreDifferent are the same]], Valkenhayn's kind tends to soften Bison up for Ryu]].
** Well after Nash made stand out. The reason is that his ~~way into~~ race was created with the ~~Pantheon, a woman named Kolin~~ use of sorcery. Therefore he, and by extension other lycanthropes, exist outside of "logic" or "reason". Not only do the natural laws mean nothing to him, but it allows Valkenhayn to do what would ~~ascend~~ otherwise be [[BeyondTheImpossible considered impossible]]. One of them being how he has a natural high immunity to both [[TimeMaster temporal]] and [[RealityWarper dimensional manipulations]]. Only high level Intermediate Gods and above can get past this. Another is that he can tear apart a PureMagicBeing, [[ImmortalBreaker immortals]] and EldritchAbomination with his ''bare hands''.
** It should be said, the near hundred years since the Dark War have both greatly aged and weakened Valkenhayn. He isn't as ~~well, looking very~~ strong as he used to be... but that doesn't mean he's [[BroughtDownToBadass weak]]. Even at his old age, he can still wipe the floor with OneManArmies and PersonsOfMassDestruction.
* Being the [[UndyingLoyalty loyal]] [[BattleButler butler]] he is, Valkenhayn found new allies with others with a [[BattleButler similar]] [[NinjaMaid profession]]. He even became part of a team full of similar servant deities.
* Valkenhayn is a bit popular with his fellow werewolves. One was with a werewolf by the name of Fenrich. The two see a lot in one another, both are deeply [[UndyingLoyalty loyal]] to their [[OurVampiresAreDifferent vampiric]] masters, both are former mercenaries, and both wouldn't hesitate to kill one another if their respected masters were to order it. The two actually formed a pact with one another, said pact being that they would aid one another in returning their masters to their former glory. Valvatorez would retain his Tyrant status and Rachel would retain her powers as an Onlooker.
** Of course Fenrich wasn't the only werewolf that Valkenhayn met. He also came in contact with Bigby Wolf, Darius Crowley, Jon Talbain, and Akira Kaburagi. Valkenhayn feels most comfortable and similar to ~~a facilitator in Nash's group named Helen; it turned out~~ Bigby, Darius and the previously mentioned Greymane, as werewolves that ~~not only had she nursed Charlie back to life, she fought Guile away at one point when he was looking for Nash. Suspicions have grown~~ are capable of maintaining both their sanity and identity in their [[WolfMan transformed state]]. He looks fondly over Jon Talbain and Akira Kaburagi, offering them training should they wish for it, as well as blessings and support over their respective relationships. Jon, while grateful for the matter.
** In her investigations, she discovered what might be a connection between Kolin and Gill, a world leader in training, is embarrassed about his "relationship" with Felicia. Akira, while grateful for his support with his relationship with Mina, has yet commented about the ~~future whose organization would kidnap~~ training proposal.
** While there are a number of werewolves that Valkenhayn finds to be good company, the same ~~girl Shadaloo~~ can ''not'' be said with Fenrir Greyback. He views him with nothing but utter disgust, and has taken every opportunity to give him an absolute ''[[CurbStompBattle brutal]]'' [[NoHoldsBarredBeatdown beating]]. Letting Fenrir know that despite being TheDreaded in the wizard world, he's ''[[AlwaysSomeoneBetter nothing]]'' when compared to someone who's power is recognized by even the [[spoiler:[[DestroyerDeity Takehaya Susanoo-no-Mikoto]]]].
* When Valkenhayn heard of a particular vampire who was known as {{Alucard}}, he initially didn't think much of it. Seeing as there were two others were also referred by the [[Pantheon/{{Castlevania}} same name]]. At least until he heard more about him. How he had ~~captured~~ long black hair, [[RedEyesTakeWarning crimson colored eyes]], how he was the oldest of his kind, as ~~part of~~ well as one of their most powerful. How he believed that HumansAreSpecial, and finally how he's known far and wide as the "[[TheDreaded No Life King]]". With everything present, he believed that the Vampire may have been his former master, Clavis Alucard. Unfortunately, it was just as he previously thought, it was a completely [[Pantheon/{{Hellsing}} different vampire]]. Interestingly enough, Alucard himself searched for Valkenhayn. Hearing a [[RetiredBadass retired warrior]] by the name of Hellsing. A warrior famous for killing the unkillable, and for being well known about his ties to a [[VampireMonarch Vampire Lord]]. The two surprisingly went on to became good friends, sharing many ~~mysterious projects,~~ similarities, being incredibly loyal to their masters and ~~who~~ having a strong hatred for traitors. Valkenhayn would ~~go on~~ eventually even show him to launch the third official World Warriors tournament.
* Has noted that her name is his master Rachel Alucard. Alucard (Hellsing) would actually ~~meant~~ be in proper behavior, and show genuine respect to ~~be pronounced~~ the other vampire. Aclucar even introduced them to his young fledgling, Seras Victoria. Seras was the first one to point out the {{irony}} of how her master (Alucard) was a servant to the Hellsing Family, while Valkenhayn R. ''Hellsing'' was a servant to the Alucard Clan. Everyone actually laughed at said irony.
** Of course when being allies with the Hellsings, Valkenhayn was made aware of [[{{Ghostapo}} Millennium]]. Just like many others, Valkenhayn is in complete disgust with them, he's frequently clashed with The Captain, who (seemly) views Valkenhayn as ~~"Choon-lee", not "Chuh-n-lee". Her name in~~ a ~~certain Japanese rendering would~~ {{worthy opponent}}. Valkenhayn on his part, only hates him a little less than the others.
* While Valkenhayn considers Rachel's enemies as his enemies (and her allies as his allies), there are some that he's taken personal animosity towards. Like B.B. Hood, Hoss Delgado, the previously mentioned Fenrir Greyback, Lord Voldemort[[labelnote:*]]He calls him [[TomTheDarkLord Tom Riddle]], knowing that [[BerserkButton he hates it]][[/labelnote]] as well as his Death Eaters, and surprisingly enough, Buffy Summers. At that point, he was more concerned about the fact that the two apparently counted as a single god instead of two.
* Has been pestered by the implications of what his future at the end of his game was; given his heartwarming reunion with Princess Garnet [[spoiler:after vanishing on her when he wanted to make sure Kuja didn't die alone]]; did he continue life as a (hopefully non-thieving) performer after returning to Tantalus? Since then, the "monkeys" have gotten friendly with each other. Though Zidane has to wonder if there's any connection between him and the Saiyans.

* None of monkey-tailed hero what his business was, he gave a strange request: To help in redeeming Kuja as well, or at least keep the other ~~deities know why Presea was seen wearing [[Pantheon/SuicideAndSacrifice Elize Lutus']] outfit [[VideoGame/TalesOfSymphonia that one time]] but Elize thinks Presea looks really cute~~ Warriors of Chaos from preventing him from doing so. He had managed to reach out to his "brother" back in them.

** She's also on friendly terms understand why Kuja's forgotten. In his time with ~~Shanoa~~ the GUAE, Golbez managed to know why thanks to hearing Kefka gloat about it, and Android 21, though 21 has asked Presea, Shanoa, and Kasumi to strike her down should her SuperpoweredEvilSide take over. While they reluctantly agreed to this, Tomoyo and Rim are both trying their best to encourage her so that doesn't have to happen.
* For some reason, a few deities decided ~~to play "The Lumberjack Song"~~ he would see what he can do. As for ~~her. She has~~ the truth, Golbez decided it would be best if Zidane heard Kuja's motives from the man(?) himself.
** Eventually, an opportunity came and together they managed to corner him. While Golbez hung back to leave the two to their quarrel (and bar off any intervention from Kuja's allies), Zidane faced off against his "brother" in a bid to make him remember their last conversation in Gaia. Naturally, some GUAE members tried to get in Zidane's way, only for the Lunarian to stop them, and then the conflict soon escalated as others took interest in it and took sides, making Golbez's task much more complicated. Still, somehow, Zidane was soon able to incapacitate Kuja, then--as planned--he and Golbez were spirited away with a teleporter that would take them somewhere more private.
** In their secluded area, Zidane finally got Kuja to spill; the reason the latter turned heel again was due to what happened in the 12th cycle in the ''Dissidia'' wars; he truly was against Chaos's side, but Kefka's intervention forced his hand, [[spoiler:and the mad clown would later alter his memories for the next cycle]], which Golbez corroborates, recalling Kefka's gloating back when he was serving the GUAE.
** After that explanation, Kuja asked what will happen next. Zidane offered him to join him in the GUAG, just like him and Golbez, at the Ministry of Atonement to be exact. And this time, there will be no intervention from Kefka or anyone else as they make their way to Cosmos, which won't be long since ~~grown a liking~~ they had teleported to the House of Heroes. Kuja wasn't sure; he's played and revelled in the role of villain for ~~Monty Python,~~ far too long, and ~~visited [[Pantheon/TheatricConvention their shrine]].~~his tenure as [[TheMole an inside man]] didn't really go well. Zidane promised to help him every step of the way. Being a (soon to be) fellow defector from Chaos, Golbez also offered to lend a hand when he can.
** One successful visit to Cosmos later, Kuja's redemption was solidified, and defensive measures have been arranged to ensure that Kefka or anyone else won't be able to repeat the mad clown's stunt again.

Rumors have said that they kept fighting for [[{{Determinator}} 3 straight days]] until they got tired. They became good friends afterwards and they often spar in their free time.
** Through Tiny Tina, he was introduced to Brick from the Crimson Raiders. Unsurprisingly, they both immediately duked it out. Aran was dauntless, even when Brick shrugged off his dirty moves and even his glove-on-a-rope didn't stop the Berserker. Brick, on the other hand, enjoyed the fact the Irish boxer kept going after him even after being punched relenlessly with his massive fists and was glad to find someone [[{{Determinator}} who would not give up]]. Neither one backed off until they grew too tired and hungry to go on. Needless to say, Brick was glad there was someone who could actually keep up with him in the stamina department.
* Is good buddies with Leprechaun for being the only Irish God besides him in the Pantheon. They usually hang out in Moe's Tavern doing drinking competions, [[BarBrawl until they start picking fights with other gods]]. * Due to a trickery set up by some of the nastier GUAE members, Sonsaku received an immense power down from Greater Goddess, to a mere Lesser Goddess, and was about to be killed off (after [[ClothingDamage having her cloth damaged greatly]]), but someone saved her in the nick of time... [[Literature/RomanceOfTheThreeKingdoms the original]] [[VideoGame/DynastyWarriors Sun Ce]], her ancestor. After working together to driving away the attackers, it's revealed that Sun Ce has managed to attain some of Sonsaku's essence before it's used for evil. Glad for everything, not to mention that her ancestor is also a pretty fun guy that likes picking fights, Sonsaku immediately befriended Sun Ce.

* It was at a young age that Makoto inherited her own dojo due to the death of her father. She has been hard at work promoting her dojo ever since. It just so happened that she got the attention of several deities in the Pantheon. Eventually, Makoto was allowed to set up a branch of her dojo in the Pantheon. Over time the dojo became her temple and Makoto became a goddess herself.
** Her first order of business? Go straight to Ibuki and challenge her to a duel to settle their rivalry once and for all. The following battle destroyed a lot of property that day but did not decide a winner. Even then, the two are on friendly terms. Sure they love to fight each other, but they are just as likely to help each other when one needs help.
** Did not forget about Fei Long, who has been at the Pantheon far longer than she has. She knows that having a karate and Jeet Kune Do practitioner fight it out would increase awareness for her. Fei Long has declined the offer, wanting to focus on her movie career. That hasn't stopped her from pursuing him.

** If it was an earlier time, she would have groaned at the prospect of Elena in the Pantheon. The happy-go-lucky capoeira fighter seemed like the polar opposite to her hard-hitting no-nonsense fighting style. Yet the Kenyan charm grew on her, eventually letting Makoto call her a friend.

Their first outing was a draw, but she is hopeful to get a second shot against the behemoth.
* Is one of the smallest competitors in the Street Fighter tournament, yet [[GlacierWaif always makes sure to take her sweet time when approaching her opponent]]. That's because she prefers to surprise her opponents with quick movements. She shares a lot in common with Fiona Mayfield in that regard and sees her as a rival to test her strength against.
* Believe it or not... Makoto is actually a pretty good carpenter and can be seen in the House of Craft building wooden structures. It helps that her strength can bust through wood in order to break it down.
* While she is by no means related to the squirrel beastly known as Makoto, no one can deny that they both love to punch people in the face. The karate master was disgusted that someone so strong had to deal with prejudice all the time. She subsequently invited her namesake for a charity bout. It was an all-out brawl that trashed the place and sent both flying through the roof at one point. Yet both were respectful towards each other afterwards.
* Can also be seen training with the likes of Chie and Akihiko in their respective temples. Akihiko gave her a sample of his protein shakes for her to try out. Curious, she put it as part of her regiment to get even stronger.
* The [[ArrogantKungFuGuy arrogant man that he is]], Adon claimed that Makoto's dojo was an utter joke under her father, saying it was the only reason why so few people knew about it in the first place. That, of course, sent her in a fit of rage. To his credit, he did manage to hold his own before making his leave.

* Hakufu has some slight issues with gender identity, being a [[GenderFlip reincarnated man and all]]. She cheerfully accepted the title of (formerly) Greater Goddess after her extremely violent revenge on those of the Combat Pantheon who dared to call her stupid. Since then most other gods just try to avoid her, which is not that easy since [[BloodKnight she loves to pick fights]].
* Due to a trickery set up by some of the nastier GUAE members, Sonsaku received an immense power down from Greater Goddess, to a mere Lesser Goddess, and was about to be killed off (after [[ClothingDamage having her cloth damaged greatly]]), but someone saved her in the nick of time... [[Literature/RomanceOfTheThreeKingdoms the original]] [[VideoGame/DynastyWarriors Sun Ce]], her ancestor. After working together to driving away the attackers, it's revealed that Sun Ce has managed to attain some of Sonsaku's essence before it's used for evil. Glad for everything, not to mention that her ancestor is also a pretty fun guy that likes picking fights, Sonsaku immediately befriended Sun Ce.
* Katsuragi befriended her rather quickly upon her ascension. They like to spar with each other, and Kat wonders what it would be the "main lead" like Sonsaku. She is also trying to see if she can help Sonsako control her dragon.
** However, it turns out that her connection with her allowed her to snuck into the "Kagura Millennium Festival". Unfortunately for her, Kan'u Uncho and Ryofu Housen were also able to snuck in with her. Unfortunately for all three of them, [[ScrewedByTheLawyers they ended up getting into trouble in the western front.]]
*** Eventually the three of them decided that to get around that problem, each of them would disguise themselves. Sonsaku herself disguised herself as a brown-haired girl with a qipao called Gu Dasao. The problem was eventually solved outright, but she has to go under her "real name" due of reasons.
* Even though she is rather battle hungry, she might be one of most kind-hearted fighters there is. Not only does she refuse to kill anyone no matter what, she is ready to forgive practically ''anyone'' she can, complete with nicknames and hugs. The ''one'' single thing she refuses to look over is rape. Though we do advise to not call her stupid.
* While there might be many fighters who would take up her challenges, there are quite a few who would rather not, due to [[PottyFailure her rather poor bladder control]] when defeated.

* In a PostCyberpunk version of Japan, an officially non-existent anti-cyber-terrorism squad works under Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs, operating out of [[NewNeoCity Niihama]]. This squad, Public Security Section 9, is a {{cyborg}} SWAT team led by protagonist Major Motoko Kusanagi. Motoko, usually just called The Major, is a full-conversion cyborg, having been fully inorganic except her brain and part of her spinal column since about age six (although one version of her goes further, having been [[Anime/GhostInTheShellArise cyberized since before she was born]]).
* Her combat skills are exceptional, as her body is a standard cyborg base modified with top-of-the-line custom military specs. She's also a brilliant hacker, able to invade even the connected human mind. She has a cold demeanor and a strict devotion to her job, one would say bordering on sociopathy… although she does have her humanizing traits and is not antisocial.
* Aside from her Heralds from Section 9, the Sisters of Battle are her army. As per her preferences, during operations they split up into small teams. Massed charges and open warfare don't sit well with her.
* Due to [[{{Stripperiffic}} her other]] [[https://img00.deviantart.net/7187/i/2015/110/d/7/motoko_kusanagi___the_major_by_madcatstudios-d6mmnm5.jpg usual outfit]], tends to get hit on by [[Pantheon/TacticsAndStrategies Zapp Brannigan]] and [[Pantheon/InvestigativeWork James Bond]]. She doesn't pay them much mind, but if she did, they'd have to watch out for the brutal invisible ass-beating to follow. Much to [[Pantheon/TaintedLove Shizuru]]'s dismay, she and her followers haven't responded to her overtures either, though as she gets to know everyone better, this may change.
* So far, seems to get along well with people who have both discipline and skill in their fields (Solid Snake, for example, though his butt probably had something to do with it).
* Before her ascension to the Pantheon, a corrupt anti-narcotics squad member named Gayle specifically targeted Motoko, chasing after her in a PoweredArmor suit with the intent to kill. Her teammates showed up with a .50 caliber anti-material sniper rifle loaded with High-Velocity armor piercing ammo and saved her just in time. [[UnstoppableRage Her fury was so intense that it shook the heavens themselves.]] Having had her left arm shot off just moments earlier, [[TheDeterminator she climbed up on top of the prone Armed Suit, aimed the rifle into the cockpit hatch]], and single-handedly [[ShortRangeLongRangeWeapon unloaded a full clip of ammo at point blank]] into the suit, ignoring Gayle's pleas of surrender. She only stopped when the clip was empty, and at that point enough damage was done to the suit that Gayle was suffocating inside from the pressure. She allowed him to live just so that he would forever ''regret'' the decision to hunt her.
* Is very comfortable within the House of Pantheon/{{Technology}} as well, and checks in on Lain and the Laughing Man often.
* Greatly admires Ellen Ripley, who was among the first [[ActionGirl female asskickers]]. They hang out and beat up monsters.
* She was the only female member of a stable group called the Mighty Majors until the ascension of Mio Sakamoto. Unfortunately, Ruput Broklaw, for reasons unknown stepped down, making her the Chief Major. She later ended up adding Guile to the group on the recommendation of Chun-Li.
* Smiled a bit when she learned about [[WebVideo/MarzGurl someone]] dressing up as her [[WebVideo/ToBoldlyFlee during the expedition to stop the Plot Hole]].
* Spike Spiegel will often visit her and smile mysteriously and affectionately call her "Julia". Motoko has asked him why he does this and replies with a smile, "You sound just like her."
* Has been seen with Lucy, who has on occasion entered her cybernetic body to provide guidance, and Black Widow, partner in occasional missions. Many note [[Creator/ScarlettJohansson the resemblance between the three]].
