** Unfortunately, there were quite a few fire elementals and fire-related beings who aren't exactly the best of people. The worst offender in Ember's eyes is none other than Ragnaros the Firelord. Ragnaros is a being which is utterly dedicated to turning everything he sees into a flame-covered wasteland. He also dislikes non-fire elementals and elemental users. The one thing that prevents her from being a full-on Enemy of Ragnaros is the fact that he isn't truly evil (not in his eyes, at least), and even turned good in one universe. Someone who is fully evil and hasn't turned good in any universe is Surtr, who seemingly only exists to destroy everything and anything he sees. Both of them are enemies with him on principle.

* Respects: The Egyptian Gods, Ramses, Moses
* Opposes: All Pantheon/Demons
* The ascension of Zia Rashid was originally met with confusion since there are already gods for many major traits of hers; namely gods of the Sun (Amaterasu and Django), Fire (Recca Hanabishi), FunctionalMagic (Harry Potter) and many others. Ra then stepped forth in the form of a old, but muscular man and told them all how Zia was the host of Nephthys and later became his own host. Thus with it now known that Zia was the host of what could be considered a water (river) goddess and later a fire (sun) god, she became the goddess of FireWaterJuxtaposition in the Pantheon.
** Zia started hosting the goddess Nephthys after Julius Kane released the five children of Nut from the British Museum. The four gods Horus, Isis, Osiris and Set then quickly went to take the closest individuals with the blood of the PharaohsJulius set himself up for Osiris and his children to take Horus and Isis, which left the fifth, Nephthys, to seek out the closest magician, Zia. Unfortunately Zia being a fire elementalist made her a poor host for Nephthys, and though the goddess did try to protect her from Apophis, she could have ended up killing Zia herself. Her death was prevented by Iskandar who put her in suspended animation in a sarcophagus made of water. When she was freed by Carter Kane and Bes she was quickly taken to the Nile river where she released Nephthys, who apologized for taking her as a host before she took the Nile as her new body.
*** Shortly after releasing Nephthys, Zia met a revived, yet senile and demented, Ra who gave her a golden scarab that contained part of his soul, Khepri, which Zia turned into a necklace. By keeping the golden scarab with her she allowed Khepri to protect her, though the real reason why Ra gave her the amulet was to prepare her to become his host. Before the final battle against Apophis both Zia and Ra held the scarab amulet, which created a warm glow that enveloped them both, before Ra turned to dust only to be reborn with Zia as his host. Zia/Ra then went with the other gods to meet Apophis in battle.
* Ironically she never defeated Apophis, that was the Kane siblings. She was devoured by Apophis, and Ra along with her, though thankfully they were able to break out of him and even release the souls he devoured once the Kanes execrated him.
* Zia stopped hosting Ra after the defeat of Apophis, and thanks to the nature of the Pantheon Ra doesn't need her as a host. That said, Ra still cares for her greatly and their relationship is comparable to that of a grandfather and granddaughter.
* Is the only survivor of a Egyptian village named Al-Hamrah Makan, which was destroyed when her father accidentally released a monster from a red statue. She took awhile to get over this, not wanting to get close to people, until Carter Kane came along.
* According to Carter, Zia resembles Nefertiti. Safe to assume he likes this about her, given he's now her boyfriend.
* Zia was actually hardly thereshe was just there for the first chapter unnamed for the events that took place during The Red Pyramid; instead the person who was in it was a clay construct called a shabti, specifically made to act in her place. The shabti did manage to pass at least some of its memories on to the real Zia, though.
* Doesn't like the gods Set, Sobek and Neith for all three have attempted to kill several of her friends. It also doesn't help that Set tried to destroy all of North America by turning it into a desert.
* Doesn't trust Azir for his codename (Seth) is a evil name. This is of course likely due to the connection with the name Set.
** Unfortunately her reasons are justified with proof in the name of Setne.
* Though she'd never met Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase until she joined the Pantheon, she did know of them thanks to the Kane siblings. And, though she likes them and is willing to help them at times, she is unwilling to get to close to them due to the risk of possibly creating some hybrid magic, which has proven to be incredibly dangerous thanks to Setne.
* Like most magicians in the House of Life she holds Ramses in high regard for being one of the great pharaohs of Egypt's history. Of course, like most people from in the modern age, she's not a big fan of the whole slave thing.
** Ironically she also has a lot of respect for Moses, since he is to date the only foreign magician to have ever defeated the House of Life.
* Absolutely hates En Sabah Nur for being known as "The Bringer of Chaos" which goes against Ma'at. It also doesn't help that he assumed Set's identity.
* Gets along well with Yami Yugi, though she doesn't particularly like how he used to deal out punishment, namely the "Shadow Games". It helps that he is a Pharaoh. She also gets along with Yugi Muto.
* Being a scribe of the First Nome naturally attracted the attention of Hermione Granger who came to her to learn more about Egyptian magic. Through Hermione Zia also learned more about the rest of the golden trio. Though she likes Harry she finds Ron Weasley incredibly annoying with his terrible table manners and lack of respect for magic.
* Though she acknowledges that there are some good demons in the Pantheon, she opposes all demons due to being beings of Chaos.
* Sometimes practices her fire magic with Zuko.
* Encountered another Rashid in the House of Nature, this one a street fighter known for his spinning tornado attacks. He's a friendly enough guy that it reminds her of Carter, though being a grown man, he's much more laid back and confident and far less awkward than Carter was initially. He's good at making connections, but unlike Carter he's not much of a leader. Though, he's started treating her like something of a kid sister. She's not sure how to take that. Also, after hearing it once or twice, to set him apart from herself she pronounces his name by the Japanese Rashīdo.

* In a world inhabited by anthropomorphic versions of the four classical elements, Element City stands as a multicultural haven... in theory. It was founded by water people, and the other three kinds of elements immigrated in over the years. The last to arrive were the fire people, and most of the city still isn't built for them; there's water everywhere, but fortunately the city turned off the water supply to their Chinatown-esque area. That was, until Ember Lumen discovered a leak under her father's shop, and Wade Ripple came over to inspect it. The Lumens hate Wade at first, but as he works with Ember to get the leak fixed, they start to fall in love -- which is a problem, because they could accidentally kill each other if they're not careful.
** Ember Lumen is the only daughter of "Bernie" and "Cinder", who were among the first fire people to immigrate to Element City after a storm destroyed their home. Her father really wants her to inherit their family business, but over the course of her adventure, she discovers that she has a talent for glassblowing. She feels conflicted about if she should follow familial obligation or her own passions, but Wade helps her realise that running the shop isn't really what she wants.
** Wade Ripple is a water-person and the middle of three siblings. He's gone through many jobs throughout his life, but currently he's a safety inspector. While he seems easy-going on the surface, deep down he's troubled by the death of his father, who he never got to fix his relationship with. When Firetown is flooded despite his an Ember's best efforts, he evaporates in order to protect her... fortunately, his droplets were absorbed by the ceiling, allowing him to reform.

Their temple is a split-down-the-middle microcosm of their homes; Ember's side is warm and made of metal and brick, while Wade's side is blue and filled with water.
* Since their world has no animate carbon-based life, Ember and Wade were stunned and overwhelmed by the sheer variety of beings in the Pantheon. Fortunately, the Pantheon already had plenty of other elementals, and two offered to show them around. Medley Brook
was prevented by Iskandar who put her in suspended animation in a sarcophagus overjoyed to meet someone else made of water. When she was freed by Carter Kane and Bes she was She quickly taken to the Nile river where she released Nephthys, who apologized for taking her as a host before she took the Nile as her new body.

Unlike Bernie, however, who was well-intentioned, Flame Princess' father was more vile: he killed his brother and tried to kill his daughter as well, just so he could get the other gods to meet Apophis in battle.

She was devoured by Apophis, Ember and Ra Wade get along with her, though thankfully they were able to break out of him Korra and even release the souls he devoured once the Kanes execrated him.
* Zia stopped hosting Ra after the defeat of Apophis, and thanks to the nature of the Pantheon Ra doesn't need her as a host. That said, Ra still cares for her greatly and
Mako because their relationship relationships were eerily similar, yet polar opposites. Korra was from the Water Tribe, Mako was from the Fire Nation, and they dated for a while. However, their romance didn't work out because of their contrasting personalities; Korra was hot-headed and Mako was calm. Various Avatar gods have wondered if they can bend the elementals... but they don't want to risk hurting them.
* Maxie and Archie are practically their Evil Counterparts. They're another duo associated with fire and water, and they tried to raise and lower the sea levels respectively. They were too short-sighted to realise this would have a devastating effect on the planet until it was almost too late, but fortunately a child saved the world. While they've redeemed themselves now, Ember and Wade feel uncomfortable around them.
* Their favourite dominion to visit
is comparable Zootopia because it reminds them of home. It's another shining multicultural city where all sorts of anthropomorphic beings co-exist in harmony... in theory. Ember, who was nearly extinguished many times while running around the heart of Element City, was relieved to learn that of a grandfather Zootopia was built with all its residents' needs in mind. Ember and granddaughter.

Wade both get along with Judy and Nick, its main representatives, who are another odd couple... and were horrified when they told them about Bellwether's plot to turn the only survivor prey against predators. Ember has dealt with a lot of a Egyptian village named Al-Hamrah Makan, which was destroyed discrimination in the past, such as when her father took her to see a rare vivisteria flower when she was little, but they were turned away for being fire people. Fortunately, Wade and an air person named Gale allowed her to finally see it.
* Exclusive to Ember:
** The first time Ember went to visit Flame Princess at her temple in the Hall of Fire and Heat, she met Hestia along the way. Being the goddess of the hearth, Ember has great respect for her, because her family's shop enshrines a blue flame from their homeland. It was very nearly extinguished in the flood, but Wade saved it and Ember by absorbing all the water.
** Ember didn't expect to have so much in common with some of the Pantheon's humans. Like her parents, the Sullivans moved away from their homeland to a big city after a tragedy in order to start a new life. The Kims were a poor family in a big city who had to deal with wealthier people -- in this case, the Parks -- and what they've told her about South Korea reminds Ember of her parents' culture, but she thinks deceiving and killing the Parks was going too far. Her parents made a living through honest work, and it seems like the Parks weren't too bright. Yukiko Amagi was also set to inherit her family's business, but felt it conflicted with her personal interests.
* Exclusive to Wade:
** Wade is terrified of sponges because he
accidentally released a monster from a red statue. She took awhile to get over this, not wanting to get close to people, until Carter Kane came along.
* According to Carter, Zia resembles Nefertiti. Safe to assume he likes this about her, given he's now her boyfriend.

* Doesn't trust Azir for his codename (Seth)
plague. Which is a evil name. This is of course likely due shame, because [=SpongeBob=] just wants to the connection with the name Set.
** Unfortunately her reasons are justified with proof in the name of Setne.
* Though she'd never met Percy Jackson
make friends and Annabeth Chase until she joined the Pantheon, she has no idea what he did know of them thanks to the Kane siblings.
Of course, like most people from in the modern age, she's not a big fan of the whole slave thing.
upset Wade.
She also
Wade gets along with Yugi Muto.
* Being a scribe of the First Nome naturally attracted the attention of Hermione Granger
other gods who came to her to learn more about Egyptian magic. Through Hermione Zia also learned more about the rest of the golden trio. Though she likes Harry she finds Ron Weasley incredibly annoying have strained relationships with his terrible table manners and lack of respect for magic.
* Though she acknowledges that there are some good demons in the Pantheon, she opposes all demons due to being beings of Chaos.
* Sometimes practices her fire magic with Zuko.
* Encountered another Rashid in the House of Nature, this one
their fathers. Edward Elric's father, Hohenheim, left when he was a street fighter known toddler, so Ed hated Hohenheim for his spinning tornado attacks. He's a friendly enough guy that it reminds her of Carter, though being a grown man, entire childhood. Even after learning why he left, Ed didn't forgive his father for years. Wade thinks he's much more laid back lucky they had the chance to repair their relationship. Ed is secretly unnerved by how similar Wade is to his undead mother from an AlternateContinuity, who could melt herself into water.
** One day, Platypet wandered into Wade's temple
and confident and far less awkward than Carter was initially. He's good at making connections, but unlike Carter he's not much of a leader. Though, he's started treating playing with the inflatable chair he keeps around for Ember's benefit. At first, Wade considered throwing him out before Ember got back, but he was quickly won over by Platypet's cuteness and easy-going personality. The next time Wade saw Ember, he begged her like something of a kid sister. She's not sure how to take that. Also, after hearing it once or twice, to set let him apart from herself keep them, and she pronounces his name by didn't have the Japanese Rashīdo.heart to say no. Then, a Temcard appeared in Wade's hand; he didn't know what it was, so Platypet motioned for Wade to throw it at him. Platypet was captured and became Wade's partner.

* The latest generation of Spectral Keepers saved the Sanctuary from a group of alchemists, who wanted to reshape it in their image using the power of the Familiars. Shortly afterwards, the eight of them heard a voice telling them to go to Eternity's End, a pocket dimension that can be reached from a portal at the top of the Stronghold. There, they met an avatar of Vertraag, god of time, who told the Familiars that they have an important role to play in the multiverse. He teleported the eight of them to the Court of Gods, who had discovered that the Familiars represent the NaturalElements in their world, making them eligible for the FourElementEnsemble. The gods gave the Familiars their shared title, and their Keepers were allowed to stay with them and agreed to be their heralds.

* After the Court of Gods directed them to their position in the House of Nature, they Spectral Familiars quickly struck up rapport with its three Mediators and their allies. Aang and Captain Planet both have power over all the classical elements (and heart), and the Wolf in particular is close to Amaterasu. Similarly, they respect Willma for leading another FourElementEnsemble. They also highly respect any humans who treat their fellow "monsters" with kindness. They also find common ground with a similar quartet of OlympusMons who protect their world, the Four Holy Beasts. As the guardians of different aspects of nature, they get along with Gaea herself, who represents all of it. However, they have a complicated relationship with Viridi; while they support similar causes, they find her contempt for humanity appalling. Similarly, while they respect that the Weather Trio due to their similarities, they find them far too aggressive to get along with.
