* At some point, a government task force was established in Tokyo, Japan, as a response to combat and eliminate whatever criminal and terrorist activity is detected. The task force is composed of an all-female group who were orphans that were handpicked by the government to be adopted and raised in the hopes of turning them into efficient and formidable assassins and spies designated to be assigned in covert operations to take out whatever threat is occurring in Tokyo all whilst maintaining a public image of seeming like high school students. This operative project has been designated ''Lycoris'' named after the namesake flower, specifically the red spider lily, and the task force has consistently been able to prove themselves as one of the most effective operations in regards to cutting down the rate of crimes and terrorism. Lycoris itself is part of a greater organization known as DA: Direct Attack, with Lycoris itself being a major subsidiary in the greater organization's means of keeping Japan safe through whatever means necessary.
** Takina Inoue was once one of Lycoris’s most promising and skilled operatives, but her reputation within the task force would take a drop when she decided to defy orders and hail indiscriminate fire at a firearms smuggling company to save a fellow operative. For her defiance, Takina was dismissed and her reception became polarizing in the eyes of her fellow Lycoris members. She was then reassigned to work alongside another Lycoris agent named Chisato Nishikigi, who was famed for being among the best operatives based on skill, precision, and combat abilities and playing a role in the destruction of a historical radio tower. Chisato introduces Takina to a café called [=LycoReco=], which she uses as a base and cover for their operations. From there, the duo starts as a pair with very contrasting personalities and attitudes but eventually begin to grow close and see each other as the best of friends, especially as Chisato’s bubbly and energetic persona starts to affect Takina’s cold and aloof demeanor and she gradually begins to express her emotions and feelings more as well as getting accustomed to the more welcoming and hopeful environment that [=LycoReco=] presented. That, and they are working to uncover a series of crimes and later a mass terroristic assault led by an anarchist who goes by Majima as well as Chisato having to deal with the fact that one of her idols and the man that saved her life before was hiding a much darker secret that could put her life in jeopardy.
* While the duo were able to do their job well in preserving Japan's safety, this was not without a bunch of hard hurdles. For one, Takina desired to be reinstated back into DA's facility, even after becoming a pariah for much of the staff and students there, though she would eventually come to warm up and consider the [=LycoReco=] staff as her FamilyOfChoice. And despite her optimistic outlook and personality, Chisato had it worse; she was diagnosed with a heart disease that left her with a limited time in life, though with the help of Shinji Yoshimatsu, a member of the philanthropic Alan Institute, Chisato was given an artificial heart transplant to prolong her life and has since decided to use her remaining time and talents gained through training under Lycoris to make the world a happier place. Not helping is the fact that Yoshimatsu was willing to extract said heart from Chisato and reduce her lifespan because she wasn't using her talents to ''kill'' people per Lycoris' orders, causing the two great anguish as Yoshimatsu does genuinely care for Chisato in his twisted way. The two girls would come to learn about the Pantheon through a message delivery for [=LycoReco=], with the idea of a bigger world and becoming a deity being an exciting, if a bit overwhelming, idea to be considered, at least for Chisato. Seeing the opportunity to do more good, Chisato was eager to take up the role as a representative, with Takina cautiously following, if mainly to make her friend happy. While their work with DA may not be done, Chisato and Takina are open to newer opportunities and events that could be presented in the Pantheon and they're more than willing to make every moment count.
* Chisato and Takina are partially defined by their friendship as much as by their wildly contrasting characteristics, personalities, and general approach to things. Chisato is a bubbly and energetic girl who is more than happy to make acquaintances with anyone and wants to make an effort to make a better world for everyone to the point where she would avert any attempts at lethal force, despite how good her combat and analytical skills are and how she would make an ideal spy and assassin for DA and the Alan Institute. Takina, on the other hand, is much more reserved and quiet, keeping things to herself and taking the most direct and effective way of resolving an operation, even if it means using lethal force. That said, Chisato's influence and friendship have resulted in Takina becoming more open and considerate about her feelings and seeing the better parts of life to the point where she's become fiercely devoted and protective of Chisato. Whatever the case, both are incredibly talented combatants and spies, able to take on rows of enemies with minimal hindrance and uncover conspiracies and hidden plots with enough persistence, even if it requires the help of their fellow [=LycoReco=] staff via [[MissionControl Mizuki]] and [[{{Hackette}} Kurumi]]. Outside of their main work, the two enjoy their time as café maids, politely serving and providing customer service to their guests. Even if it's mainly as a cover for their work under DA, Chisato and Takina prefer [=LycoReco=] anyway, feeling that it helps them to be more direct in helping and providing service for the general populace and it serves as a good training ground for Takina to better learn how to emote and respond and reciprocate with emotions.
* Given their occupation and their skills, Chisato and Takina were aware of the fact that their presence meant that several government bodies and operations in the Pantheon would pay interest towards them and DA as a whole, but while Takina is keeping a check to make sure about their agendas, Chisato personally doesn't care much and as far as she is concerned, trying to help others is what she really cares about. The Governmental side of the House of Pantheon/{{Leadership}} has placed a lot of focus on the two girls, though personal thoughts have been varied, with some believing that Chisato and Takina would make very useful assets whereas others think that they're too much of a loose cannon to be properly relied on and Chisato is too chaotic and unpredictable for them to keep in line with. The Silencerz are open to the idea of forming a working relationship with the girls and Chisato herself has mused about the awesomeness of riding on a bunch of stylish and highly advanced vehicles whereas an oppressive force like the Sibyl System might see Takina as a potential recruit, but see Chisato as a liability and are not above eliminating them if it thinks that's the best option to assert its influence. That said, there are operatives in the Sibyl System who are more willing to just befriend the girls and would rather rebel against the system itself if they could, which is something Chisato and Takina are willing to acknowledge.
* The two girls are very skilled and adept in spy operations and have led some successful tasks on that field no thanks to their advanced reflexes, highly trained combat skills, and being resourceful and intelligent enough to plan and carry a good deal of gadgets and items alongside them in their work. Still, being incredibly capable of spy work doesn't mean they can rely entirely on their actions and are fully open to getting help from their fellow [=LycoReco=] co-workers if needed. Their reputation caught the eye of James Bond, himself a famed spy investigator who expressed respect and interest towards Chisato and Takina. Both came to like the older spy in their way, with Chisato finding his many gadgets to be among the coolest things she's seen in the Pantheon and the latter coming to respect his capabilities and professionalism, that is if his womanizing ways aren't in the way. Speaking of which, Nakahara has developed a crush on Bond upon encountering him and doesn't mind spending a good night together after learning how much of a ladies-man he is, much to a lot of people’s chagrin. Bond normally wouldn't mind, though he's got a chronic problem that any girl he develops an interest in either ends greed or becomes a problem at some point in the future. Since then, Bond has remained in touch with Chisato and Takina after enrolling in an investigative task with them and seeing them as capable spies and markswomen whom he could count on and is supportive of their personal goals even if Bond himself has some gripes against DA for being complicit in forced child and orphan indoctrination. Similarly, the two girls also get along with Black Widow a s the latter takes the time to visit [=LycoReco=] and have some fun and peace as a regular customer as well as citing Chisato as an optimist that Natasha is willing to support.
* The two girls have been trained to fight and kill if it means achieving their tasks and they have more than enough experience, skill, and knowledge to be effective assassins, which is how DA have raised them to be for their government program. But whereas Takina is willing to use lethal force when necessary, Chisato vehemently disagrees, instead opting to use rubber bullets to knock targets and enemies out and compensate for said ammunition’s poor accuracy by being a terrifying close-range fighter who wouldn't waste a chance at shooting her opponents non-lethally whenever she gets an opportunity. This caused the two girls, especially Chisato, to have a middling reception for most assassins in the Pantheon, as this is because being an assassin means having to kill as part of your job. Some assassins like Gunvolt, Killua Zoldyck, and Maki Harukawa are willing to look past their occupation and simply see Chisato and Takina as friendly and approachable people who have similar “talents” as they do and just make an effort to hang out as good acquaintances. Others like the Assassin’s Order are quite unsure of how this reflects on their effectiveness, even if they concede that Chisato at least has her heart in the right place and Agent 47 simply finds them "intriguing" from his perspective, but chooses not to engage in a relationship with them as he believes that he could one day be asked to assassinate Chisato and Takina and additionally doesn't want to create either friends or enemies due to his occupation. More villainous assassins like Bullseye and the League of Assassins were considered too dangerous to be dealt with directly due to the range and scope of their actions, and while Bullseye simply finds the girls to be “entertaining sport”, seeing them as potential rivals or prey, Ra’s al Ghul thinks Chisato is wasting her talents as a potential assassin and believes that she and Takina would have more chances of making a better world if they put their services towards him and his ideals. Needless to say, the girls have made their stance clear about seeing them as enemies and would fight if they ever come across each other.
* Their upbringing is a rather sensitive topic for many, though not exactly for the girls themselves. Chisato and Takina are orphans, but the two have hardly spoken about parentage, not to mention Chisato personally saw Mika and Yoshimatsu as her parental figures and was inspired by them, especially the latter, into wanting to help others with her skills and abilities, which ended in tatters when Yoshimatsu would extract the artificial art that kept Chisato alive and would try to force her to use her training to kill people, something she vehemently went against. Even then, while DA has admirable goals that Lycoris has been trying to uphold, the methods of raising their subjects, namely orphans since their earliest memories into being trained for spycraft, combat, espionage, and assassination, left many to be critical of DA, though this sort of information has been kept hidden with few really knowing about this, even in the Pantheon. Chisato and Takina don't put much thought into this and the former admits that she is just content on using her gifts to help others, even if it means going against DA’s rules. Even with their dark past, this doesn't stop the girls from trying to approach life in a more open and accepting fashion and they easily find themselves getting along with the House of Pantheon/ChildhoodAndAdolescence as at least Chisato has displayed a good range in being open and friendly with kids as shown with her working relationship with Kurumi. At the very least, the topic of family doesn't seem too sensitive for the girls as at least they do have Mika as a father figure and mentor and he's comfortable being in the Pantheon as one of their heralds.
* Both are very formidable combatants, though Chisato offers an illusion of sorts as rubber bullets tend to have terrible accuracy, which causes Chisato to favor close-range combat (which she is incredibly good at) so she could quickly overwhelm her foes and then shoot them non-lethally at point-blank range, ensuring they wouldn't be able to dodge or escape. In contrast, Takina is an incredibly precise shooter and pretty much excels in most types of guns. Even so, the House of Pantheon/{{Weapons}} elicits little interest in her, and all she cares about in that regard is which firearms she would feel are the most efficient in her tasks and objectives. Takina's marksmanship has led her to be compared to a lot of other famed marksmen, many of whom were participants in World War II, but despite her skill, they’re more comfortable with the fact that she didn't have to participate in said war, feeling that a teen her age would be easily traumatized and mentally damaged, though Takina would rebuff those statements, claiming that she could handle those matters if need be, and while she would acknowledge said soldiers’ combat skill regarding pistols and rifles, she doesn't associate much with them. Deadshot, a master assassin known for his impeccably precise and accurate aim, outright praises Takina and sees her as a WorthyOpponent in that regard, though he would state although he has no ill feelings, he will kill Chisato and Takina if they became targets for his job. Chisato doesn't seem to mind that, instead thinking that Deadshot should do better for his daughter, even if she understands why he's an assassin for hire, and Deadshot himself is willing to admit that had it not been for their differing priorities and likely conflicting sides, they could get along.
* Chisato and Takina have a reputable tendency to just do whatever is necessary to get their tasks done, and they are willing to forgo rules and regulations to accomplish such. Chisato is an outright maverick in that regard; despite being trained to be an assassin and having the combat skill and capabilities to be so, she would never, ''ever'' take a life, even if refraining would compromise her tasks. Their defiance of rules and regulations is what makes them a loose cannon for DA most of the time and the only reason why Chisato is even part of the organization, despite said defiance, is because she's too good at her job and ability to be discharged. Consequently, this direction for initiative made the two girls rather popular among many deities in the Pantheon, especially by heroes who are simply willing to do the right thing regardless of personal consequences, and this is a major factor on why they get along with Gunvolt as despite his occupation, he has a strong sense of justice and is willing to help others along the way. Despite their maverick tendencies, the duo don’t have any hard feelings towards the idea of leadership and are willing to listen to advice if that happens to be the best course of action, and it helps that many leaders in the Pantheon are adamant about doing the right thing in favor of being too rigid about rules and regulations.
* Thanks to their ascension, [=LycoReco=] ended up finding a new service in the Pantheon. Naturally, Chisato was really excited as this meant a lot more customers, but a few days later, Mizuki and Mika were already getting weary about just how much stock and customers they had to deal with and feeling that being in the divine realms might have been costly for them as much as it was rewarding for Chisato and Takina, who continue to serve as maids mainly to pass the time, even if the former enjoys participating in customer service. While [=LycoReco=] wasn’t the only café in the Pantheon that originated from a different world, this didn’t deter the place nor others of its kind from being undermined in regards to daily customers nor competitive marketing and selling. If anything, Chisato was eager to visit other cafés, with her bubbly personality allowing her to easily get along and keep in contact with several maids and owners, though she and Takina make a point to keep their identities as DA members hidden and compromised. A quintet of cute maids was keen on having a collection of fun times with the [=LycoReco=] staff, with Rize Tedeze having an interest in firearms, which Chisato, Kurumi, and sometimes Takina would converse and do a few roleplays on. The duo also get along with Maika Sakuranomiya and Hideri Kanzaki for fairly obvious reasons, plus some of the bizarre antics they get involved with, namely Maika’s weirdly creepy smile and being forced into the acting role of a mean “{{sadist}}” and Hideri’s vain demeanor in addition to being a guy dressed as a girl, have resulted in quite some experiences Chisato could only describe as "bonkers, but fun nonetheless".
* Due to her diseased heart, Chisato was only expected to live up to 18 years until she received a medical transplant to allow her to live longer. This is one of the reasons she decided to use her time to make the world a better place, or at least genuinely help society and the people around her, and for her upbeat, bubbly attitude, feeling that she may as well make the most of her time. Of course, this part of her information is kept confidential due to her occupation as an agent under Lycoris, though she doesn’t mind having it told to a select few friends if she wants to. On that note, Chisato likes visiting the House of Pantheon/HealthAndDiseases as she gets the opportunity to visit patients who’ve been through a similar situation as her and would try to simply spend time as friends, though so long as [[AfraidOfNeedles she doesn’t get involved with needle injections]]. Chisato has since made friends with Hisao Nakai, a boy who suffers from arrhythmia after suffering a heart attack via his crush confessing to him. While she understands his plights and supports his plans for the future, Chisato does urge Hisao to be careful, concerned about how his heart condition could flare up in case he forgets to take precautions for his physical well-being. Anna and Kate Fitzgerald were sisters with the latter being diagnosed with leukemia while the former was a stand-in for a new heart donor in case Kate could have a transplant to save her from cancer. Chisato appreciated the sisters’ affection for one another, though she found their case rather troubling and messed up, considering how their mother Sara’s desperation to save Kate’s life at the expense of their mental well-being ended up alienating her from her children, though at the very least Sara has learned from her flaws and is making an effort to be more active in Anna and Kate’s time in the Pantheon as well as approving Chisato’s friendship with them. Finally, the tale of Yuzuru Otonashi signing his heart to be donated before dying was one that Chisato found intriguing, especially after said heart would find its place in a reincarnated Kanade Tachibana. She sometimes wonders what life in the afterlife would be like, at least the one that Otonashi and Kanade went through, but the Pantheon seems fascinating enough and both parties are simply content to help each other out if need be, plus Chisato getting a bonus in having additional customers for [=LycoReco=].
* Chisato is incredibly rigid and dedicated to her desire to not kill anybody, even if she's sent out on generally dangerous espionage tasks ordered to her by DA. She's aware that she's trained to be an assassin and much of Lycoris’s objectives are to kill to ensure safety and protection to Japan, it's just that Chisato doesn't care about that. She wants to make society better and the people around her happy, not just follow commands all the time and her approach as a {{martial pacifist}} and as an overly excitable and happy-go-lucky girl has been a thorn in DA’s side. Outside of Chisato, the most well-known adherers to the “no-kill” rule are members of the Batfamily, with Batman himself being incredibly strict about it, feeling that using lethal force would compromise his morality. He and Chisato were a bit more similar than their contrasting appearances and attitude would suggest and though the Lycoris agent would sometimes poke fun at the Dark Knight for being a bit of a grump, she does find his getup and dedication to be pretty cool and they were able to bond over having a strong sense of justice. Although Batman knows about Chisato’s past, he has kept that information confidential and is personally working to create an advanced artificial heart to give Chisato a happy adult life as a token of their friendship. There are also two of his children and apprentices, Damian Wayne and Cassandra Cain, both of whom are eager to prove themselves as capable of being their old man’s successors in both protecting Gotham City and being martial pacifists who are willing to fight without resorting to lethal force. Needless to say, Chisato's ability to get along with kids allowed her to be quick friends with Damian and Cassandra. The three have spent time playing and snacking at [=LycoReco=] and have sparred against each other as a way to keep up with their strengths and abilities, which have helped them sharpen and keep track of their physical well-being. Chisato hopes that she could work together with the Batfamily and provide a greater sense of influence for them at some point.
* Takina has a [[IceQueen cool, composed, and fixated demeanor]] most of the time, and this isn't even a product of her upbringing as she prefers to take a no-nonsense approach to objectives almost all the time, be it taking orders or defying them. That said, her time with Takina has [[DefrostingIceQueen caused her to become more emotionally open and responsive about most things in general]] and even when cooly focused on her job, [[NotSoStoic she is capable of great care and feels a lot for those she considers friends and family]]. Despite her profession and having to keep her identity anonymous for the sake of her occupation, Takina doesn't mind making a few new friends if Chisato would recommend her to do such. Of course, Takina would do some personal homework about a couple of deities before deciding to meet a few figures like Elsa, Byleth Eisner, and Shoto Todoroki as they fitted the description of behaving a little similar to Takina, namely the stoic and serious demeanor with a soft and emotional side and who do become more expressive thanks to someone else’s influence. Coming back to Chisato, Takina admitted that her experience with them was rather interesting, and while listening to some personal tales regarding them was a bit tough, Takina came to respect their commitment to doing good deeds as well as just generally being good people, hoping that her experience with them could help Takina with becoming better at talking and expressing herself with others.
* Their friendship is a unique one, particularly due to their differing personalities and approaches in taking on their tasks and objectives, though it should be noted that Chisato was very stoic and mentally shut off back in her childhood, and her physical state as well as being saved caused her to develop a new perspective on life as well as well as seeing her fellow café members in [=LycoReco=] as her FamilyOfChoice. While their status as Lycoris and DA agents are kept hidden from the public eye, Chisato has enough of a reputation to be quite popular in the House of Pantheon/FriendshipAndCamaraderie, which coincided with [=LycoReco=] have a surge in customers. She enjoys her company in that House, plus her getting alongside kids pretty well means she easily became well-acquainted with the House of Pantheon/ChildhoodAndAdolescence where she ends up having to play maid during tea parties, much to her annoyance as she would rather play a more exciting role with the kids in said House. In Takina's case, she has a more difficult time getting adjusted to social situations partly because she keeps herself quiet and reserved, but she does try to be more emotive as she knows that Chisato is encouraging her to make friends and consider the idea of a friend circle in the Pantheon. At the very least, Takina is starting to open up a bit and hopes that her time in the Pantheon helps her become more sociable.
* As their occupation involves dealing with crimes and preventing societal attacks and disarray to ensure Japan’s safety per DA’s orders, Chisato and Takina have seen themselves dealing with terrorists and anarchists, with their most notable one being a man named Majima, who would resort to extreme and violent acts to, in his words, restore the "balance" of Japan and seeing Lycoris and DA as menaces to society for withholding information and picturing Japan as safe and secure when the truth is anything but, something that the duo agree with, even if they oppose him. The Pantheon has its slew of terrorists and anarchists, and they’ve proven to be just as dangerous and ambitious in their efforts. People like Bill Williamson and Shogo Makishima were incredibly diabolical and were quick to see DA as hindrances to society that they sought to dismantle and they quickly figured that Chisato and Takina were credible threats to their ambitions, though they weren’t above wanting to convince them to play a bigger role and define themselves through superiority per their personal beliefs.
** The Joker was worse, with his similar appearance to Majima being the least of the girls’ concerns; the Clown Prince of Crime was giddy to hear of them as Bats’ new friends and personally got to “invite” them for a show, really a kidnapping attempt and forcing the girls to watch Mizuki, Mika, and Kurumi get killed slowly, knowing that it would cause the girls great anguish and wanting to test whether Chisato would kill him as well as the bonus of sticking it to Bats for harming one of his new allies. While Joker’s plan would fail thanks to Batman’s timely intervention, the events, plus Joker’s psychotic and nihilistic disregard for life, proved harrowing enough that [[EvenTheLovingHeroHasHatedOnes Chisato declared Joker to be among the very few people she genuinely hated]], something that the Clown Prince has nothing but wicked satisfaction out of upon hearing of the girl’s thoughts on him. On the other hand, Anarky proved divisive as while he didn’t like DA’s attempts to masquerade an image of safety and prosperity, he did come to respect Chisato for being a rule-defier and sticking to her code of what is good, even if he disapproves of her occupation. The two admitted that they could get along and he could potentially mentor Kurumi as a hacker as well, but their differing means to make a better place and Anarky’s more destructive methods meant that he would come to clash against Chisato and Takina, though he respects them enough to at least try not to harm them badly.

* At some point, a government task force was established in Tokyo, Japan, as a response to combat and eliminate whatever criminal and terrorist activity is detected. The task force is composed of an all-female group who were orphans that were handpicked by the government to be adopted and raised in the hopes of turning them into efficient and formidable assassins and spies designated to be assigned in covert operations to take out whatever threat is occurring in Tokyo all whilst maintaining a public image of seeming like high school students. This operative project has been designated ''Lycoris'' named after the namesake flower, specifically the red spider lily, and the task force has consistently been able to prove themselves as one of the most effective operations in regards to cutting down the rate of crimes and terrorism. Lycoris itself is part of a greater organization known as DA: Direct Attack, with Lycoris itself being a major subsidiary in the greater organization's means of keeping Japan safe through whatever means necessary.
** Takina Inoue was once one of Lycoris’s most promising and skilled operatives, but her reputation within the task force would take a drop when she decided to defy orders and hail indiscriminate fire at a firearms smuggling company to save a fellow operative. For her defiance, Takina was dismissed and her reception became polarizing in the eyes of her fellow Lycoris members. She was then reassigned to work alongside another Lycoris agent named Chisato Nishikigi, who was famed for being among the best operatives based on skill, precision, and combat abilities and playing a role in the destruction of a historical radio tower. Chisato introduces Takina to a café called [=LycoReco=], which she uses as a base and cover for their operations. From there, the duo starts as a pair with very contrasting personalities and attitudes but eventually begin to grow close and see each other as the best of friends, especially as Chisato’s bubbly and energetic persona starts to affect Takina’s cold and aloof demeanor and she gradually begins to express her emotions and feelings more as well as getting accustomed to the more welcoming and hopeful environment that [=LycoReco=] presented. That, and they are working to uncover a series of crimes and later a mass terroristic assault led by an anarchist who goes by Majima as well as Chisato having to deal with the fact that one of her idols and the man that saved her life before was hiding a much darker secret that could put her life in jeopardy.
* While the duo were able to do their job well in preserving Japan's safety, this was not without a bunch of hard hurdles. For one, Takina desired to be reinstated back into DA's facility, even after becoming a pariah for much of the staff and students there, though she would eventually come to warm up and consider the [=LycoReco=] staff as her FamilyOfChoice. And despite her optimistic outlook and personality, Chisato had it worse; she was diagnosed with a heart disease that left her with a limited time in life, though with the help of Shinji Yoshimatsu, a member of the philanthropic Alan Institute, Chisato was given an artificial heart transplant to prolong her life and has since decided to use her remaining time and talents gained through training under Lycoris to make the world a happier place. Not helping is the fact that Yoshimatsu was willing to extract said heart from Chisato and reduce her lifespan because she wasn't using her talents to ''kill'' people per Lycoris' orders, causing the two great anguish as Yoshimatsu does genuinely care for Chisato in his twisted way. The two girls would come to learn about the Pantheon through a message delivery for [=LycoReco=], with the idea of a bigger world and becoming a deity being an exciting, if a bit overwhelming, idea to be considered, at least for Chisato. Seeing the opportunity to do more good, Chisato was eager to take up the role as a representative, with Takina cautiously following, if mainly to make her friend happy. While their work with DA may not be done, Chisato and Takina are open to newer opportunities and events that could be presented in the Pantheon and they're more than willing to make every moment count.
* Chisato and Takina are partially defined by their friendship as much as by their wildly contrasting characteristics, personalities, and general approach to things. Chisato is a bubbly and energetic girl who is more than happy to make acquaintances with anyone and wants to make an effort to make a better world for everyone to the point where she would avert any attempts at lethal force, despite how good her combat and analytical skills are and how she would make an ideal spy and assassin for DA and the Alan Institute. Takina, on the other hand, is much more reserved and quiet, keeping things to herself and taking the most direct and effective way of resolving an operation, even if it means using lethal force. That said, Chisato's influence and friendship have resulted in Takina becoming more open and considerate about her feelings and seeing the better parts of life to the point where she's become fiercely devoted and protective of Chisato. Whatever the case, both are incredibly talented combatants and spies, able to take on rows of enemies with minimal hindrance and uncover conspiracies and hidden plots with enough persistence, even if it requires the help of their fellow [=LycoReco=] staff via [[MissionControl Mizuki]] and [[{{Hackette}} Kurumi]]. Outside of their main work, the two enjoy their time as café maids, politely serving and providing customer service to their guests. Even if it's mainly as a cover for their work under DA, Chisato and Takina prefer [=LycoReco=] anyway, feeling that it helps them to be more direct in helping and providing service for the general populace and it serves as a good training ground for Takina to better learn how to emote and respond and reciprocate with emotions.
* Given their occupation and their skills, Chisato and Takina were aware of the fact that their presence meant that several government bodies and operations in the Pantheon would pay interest towards them and DA as a whole, but while Takina is keeping a check to make sure about their agendas, Chisato personally doesn't care much and as far as she is concerned, trying to help others is what she really cares about. The Governmental side of the House of Pantheon/{{Leadership}} has placed a lot of focus on the two girls, though personal thoughts have been varied, with some believing that Chisato and Takina would make very useful assets whereas others think that they're too much of a loose cannon to be properly relied on and Chisato is too chaotic and unpredictable for them to keep in line with. The Silencerz are open to the idea of forming a working relationship with the girls and Chisato herself has mused about the awesomeness of riding on a bunch of stylish and highly advanced vehicles whereas an oppressive force like the Sibyl System might see Takina as a potential recruit, but see Chisato as a liability and are not above eliminating them if it thinks that's the best option to assert its influence. That said, there are operatives in the Sibyl System who are more willing to just befriend the girls and would rather rebel against the system itself if they could, which is something Chisato and Takina are willing to acknowledge.
* The two girls are very skilled and adept in spy operations and have led some successful tasks on that field no thanks to their advanced reflexes, highly trained combat skills, and being resourceful and intelligent enough to plan and carry a good deal of gadgets and items alongside them in their work. Still, being incredibly capable of spy work doesn't mean they can rely entirely on their actions and are fully open to getting help from their fellow [=LycoReco=] co-workers if needed. Their reputation caught the eye of James Bond, himself a famed spy investigator who expressed respect and interest towards Chisato and Takina. Both came to like the older spy in their way, with Chisato finding his many gadgets to be among the coolest things she's seen in the Pantheon and the latter coming to respect his capabilities and professionalism, that is if his womanizing ways aren't in the way. Speaking of which, Nakahara has developed a crush on Bond upon encountering him and doesn't mind spending a good night together after learning how much of a ladies-man he is, much to a lot of people’s chagrin. Bond normally wouldn't mind, though he's got a chronic problem that any girl he develops an interest in either ends greed or becomes a problem at some point in the future. Since then, Bond has remained in touch with Chisato and Takina after enrolling in an investigative task with them and seeing them as capable spies and markswomen whom he could count on and is supportive of their personal goals even if Bond himself has some gripes against DA for being complicit in forced child and orphan indoctrination. Similarly, the two girls also get along with Black Widow a s the latter takes the time to visit [=LycoReco=] and have some fun and peace as a regular customer as well as citing Chisato as an optimist that Natasha is willing to support.
* The two girls have been trained to fight and kill if it means achieving their tasks and they have more than enough experience, skill, and knowledge to be effective assassins, which is how DA have raised them to be for their government program. But whereas Takina is willing to use lethal force when necessary, Chisato vehemently disagrees, instead opting to use rubber bullets to knock targets and enemies out and compensate for said ammunition’s poor accuracy by being a terrifying close-range fighter who wouldn't waste a chance at shooting her opponents non-lethally whenever she gets an opportunity. This caused the two girls, especially Chisato, to have a middling reception for most assassins in the Pantheon, as this is because being an assassin means having to kill as part of your job. Some assassins like Gunvolt, Killua Zoldyck, and Maki Harukawa are willing to look past their occupation and simply see Chisato and Takina as friendly and approachable people who have similar “talents” as they do and just make an effort to hang out as good acquaintances. Others like the Assassin’s Order are quite unsure of how this reflects on their effectiveness, even if they concede that Chisato at least has her heart in the right place and Agent 47 simply finds them "intriguing" from his perspective, but chooses not to engage in a relationship with them as he believes that he could one day be asked to assassinate Chisato and Takina and additionally doesn't want to create either friends or enemies due to his occupation. More villainous assassins like Bullseye and the League of Assassins were considered too dangerous to be dealt with directly due to the range and scope of their actions, and while Bullseye simply finds the girls to be “entertaining sport”, seeing them as potential rivals or prey, Ra’s al Ghul thinks Chisato is wasting her talents as a potential assassin and believes that she and Takina would have more chances of making a better world if they put their services towards him and his ideals. Needless to say, the girls have made their stance clear about seeing them as enemies and would fight if they ever come across each other.
* Their upbringing is a rather sensitive topic for many, though not exactly for the girls themselves. Chisato and Takina are orphans, but the two have hardly spoken about parentage, not to mention Chisato personally saw Mika and Yoshimatsu as her parental figures and was inspired by them, especially the latter, into wanting to help others with her skills and abilities, which ended in tatters when Yoshimatsu would extract the artificial art that kept Chisato alive and would try to force her to use her training to kill people, something she vehemently went against. Even then, while DA has admirable goals that Lycoris has been trying to uphold, the methods of raising their subjects, namely orphans since their earliest memories into being trained for spycraft, combat, espionage, and assassination, left many to be critical of DA, though this sort of information has been kept hidden with few really knowing about this, even in the Pantheon. Chisato and Takina don't put much thought into this and the former admits that she is just content on using her gifts to help others, even if it means going against DA’s rules. Even with their dark past, this doesn't stop the girls from trying to approach life in a more open and accepting fashion and they easily find themselves getting along with the House of Pantheon/ChildhoodAndAdolescence as at least Chisato has displayed a good range in being open and friendly with kids as shown with her working relationship with Kurumi. At the very least, the topic of family doesn't seem too sensitive for the girls as at least they do have Mika as a father figure and mentor and he's comfortable being in the Pantheon as one of their heralds.
* Both are very formidable combatants, though Chisato offers an illusion of sorts as rubber bullets tend to have terrible accuracy, which causes Chisato to favor close-range combat (which she is incredibly good at) so she could quickly overwhelm her foes and then shoot them non-lethally at point-blank range, ensuring they wouldn't be able to dodge or escape. In contrast, Takina is an incredibly precise shooter and pretty much excels in most types of guns. Even so, the House of Pantheon/{{Weapons}} elicits little interest in her, and all she cares about in that regard is which firearms she would feel are the most efficient in her tasks and objectives. Takina's marksmanship has led her to be compared to a lot of other famed marksmen, many of whom were participants in World War II, but despite her skill, they’re more comfortable with the fact that she didn't have to participate in said war, feeling that a teen her age would be easily traumatized and mentally damaged, though Takina would rebuff those statements, claiming that she could handle those matters if need be, and while she would acknowledge said soldiers’ combat skill regarding pistols and rifles, she doesn't associate much with them. Deadshot, a master assassin known for his impeccably precise and accurate aim, outright praises Takina and sees her as a WorthyOpponent in that regard, though he would state although he has no ill feelings, he will kill Chisato and Takina if they became targets for his job. Chisato doesn't seem to mind that, instead thinking that Deadshot should do better for his daughter, even if she understands why he's an assassin for hire, and Deadshot himself is willing to admit that had it not been for their differing priorities and likely conflicting sides, they could get along.
* Chisato and Takina have a reputable tendency to just do whatever is necessary to get their tasks done, and they are willing to forgo rules and regulations to accomplish such. Chisato is an outright maverick in that regard; despite being trained to be an assassin and having the combat skill and capabilities to be so, she would never, ''ever'' take a life, even if refraining would compromise her tasks. Their defiance of rules and regulations is what makes them a loose cannon for DA most of the time and the only reason why Chisato is even part of the organization, despite said defiance, is because she's too good at her job and ability to be discharged. Consequently, this direction for initiative made the two girls rather popular among many deities in the Pantheon, especially by heroes who are simply willing to do the right thing regardless of personal consequences, and this is a major factor on why they get along with Gunvolt as despite his occupation, he has a strong sense of justice and is willing to help others along the way. Despite their maverick tendencies, the duo don’t have any hard feelings towards the idea of leadership and are willing to listen to advice if that happens to be the best course of action, and it helps that many leaders in the Pantheon are adamant about doing the right thing in favor of being too rigid about rules and regulations.
* Thanks to their ascension, [=LycoReco=] ended up finding a new service in the Pantheon. Naturally, Chisato was really excited as this meant a lot more customers, but a few days later, Mizuki and Mika were already getting weary about just how much stock and customers they had to deal with and feeling that being in the divine realms might have been costly for them as much as it was rewarding for Chisato and Takina, who continue to serve as maids mainly to pass the time, even if the former enjoys participating in customer service. While [=LycoReco=] wasn’t the only café in the Pantheon that originated from a different world, this didn’t deter the place nor others of its kind from being undermined in regards to daily customers nor competitive marketing and selling. If anything, Chisato was eager to visit other cafés, with her bubbly personality allowing her to easily get along and keep in contact with several maids and owners, though she and Takina make a point to keep their identities as DA members hidden and compromised. A quintet of cute maids was keen on having a collection of fun times with the [=LycoReco=] staff, with Rize Tedeze having an interest in firearms, which Chisato, Kurumi, and sometimes Takina would converse and do a few roleplays on. The duo also get along with Maika Sakuranomiya and Hideri Kanzaki for fairly obvious reasons, plus some of the bizarre antics they get involved with, namely Maika’s weirdly creepy smile and being forced into the acting role of a mean “{{sadist}}” and Hideri’s vain demeanor in addition to being a guy dressed as a girl, have resulted in quite some experiences Chisato could only describe as "bonkers, but fun nonetheless".
* Due to her diseased heart, Chisato was only expected to live up to 18 years until she received a medical transplant to allow her to live longer. This is one of the reasons she decided to use her time to make the world a better place, or at least genuinely help society and the people around her, and for her upbeat, bubbly attitude, feeling that she may as well make the most of her time. Of course, this part of her information is kept confidential due to her occupation as an agent under Lycoris, though she doesn’t mind having it told to a select few friends if she wants to. On that note, Chisato likes visiting the House of Pantheon/HealthAndDiseases as she gets the opportunity to visit patients who’ve been through a similar situation as her and would try to simply spend time as friends, though so long as [[AfraidOfNeedles she doesn’t get involved with needle injections]]. Chisato has since made friends with Hisao Nakai, a boy who suffers from arrhythmia after suffering a heart attack via his crush confessing to him. While she understands his plights and supports his plans for the future, Chisato does urge Hisao to be careful, concerned about how his heart condition could flare up in case he forgets to take precautions for his physical well-being. Anna and Kate Fitzgerald were sisters with the latter being diagnosed with leukemia while the former was a stand-in for a new heart donor in case Kate could have a transplant to save her from cancer. Chisato appreciated the sisters’ affection for one another, though she found their case rather troubling and messed up, considering how their mother Sara’s desperation to save Kate’s life at the expense of their mental well-being ended up alienating her from her children, though at the very least Sara has learned from her flaws and is making an effort to be more active in Anna and Kate’s time in the Pantheon as well as approving Chisato’s friendship with them. Finally, the tale of Yuzuru Otonashi signing his heart to be donated before dying was one that Chisato found intriguing, especially after said heart would find its place in a reincarnated Kanade Tachibana. She sometimes wonders what life in the afterlife would be like, at least the one that Otonashi and Kanade went through, but the Pantheon seems fascinating enough and both parties are simply content to help each other out if need be, plus Chisato getting a bonus in having additional customers for [=LycoReco=].
* Chisato is incredibly rigid and dedicated to her desire to not kill anybody, even if she's sent out on generally dangerous espionage tasks ordered to her by DA. She's aware that she's trained to be an assassin and much of Lycoris’s objectives are to kill to ensure safety and protection to Japan, it's just that Chisato doesn't care about that. She wants to make society better and the people around her happy, not just follow commands all the time and her approach as a {{martial pacifist}} and as an overly excitable and happy-go-lucky girl has been a thorn in DA’s side. Outside of Chisato, the most well-known adherers to the “no-kill” rule are members of the Batfamily, with Batman himself being incredibly strict about it, feeling that using lethal force would compromise his morality. He and Chisato were a bit more similar than their contrasting appearances and attitude would suggest and though the Lycoris agent would sometimes poke fun at the Dark Knight for being a bit of a grump, she does find his getup and dedication to be pretty cool and they were able to bond over having a strong sense of justice. Although Batman knows about Chisato’s past, he has kept that information confidential and is personally working to create an advanced artificial heart to give Chisato a happy adult life as a token of their friendship. There are also two of his children and apprentices, Damian Wayne and Cassandra Cain, both of whom are eager to prove themselves as capable of being their old man’s successors in both protecting Gotham City and being martial pacifists who are willing to fight without resorting to lethal force. Needless to say, Chisato's ability to get along with kids allowed her to be quick friends with Damian and Cassandra. The three have spent time playing and snacking at [=LycoReco=] and have sparred against each other as a way to keep up with their strengths and abilities, which have helped them sharpen and keep track of their physical well-being. Chisato hopes that she could work together with the Batfamily and provide a greater sense of influence for them at some point.
* Takina has a [[IceQueen cool, composed, and fixated demeanor]] most of the time, and this isn't even a product of her upbringing as she prefers to take a no-nonsense approach to objectives almost all the time, be it taking orders or defying them. That said, her time with Takina has [[DefrostingIceQueen caused her to become more emotionally open and responsive about most things in general]] and even when cooly focused on her job, [[NotSoStoic she is capable of great care and feels a lot for those she considers friends and family]]. Despite her profession and having to keep her identity anonymous for the sake of her occupation, Takina doesn't mind making a few new friends if Chisato would recommend her to do such. Of course, Takina would do some personal homework about a couple of deities before deciding to meet a few figures like Elsa, Byleth Eisner, and Shoto Todoroki as they fitted the description of behaving a little similar to Takina, namely the stoic and serious demeanor with a soft and emotional side and who do become more expressive thanks to someone else’s influence. Coming back to Chisato, Takina admitted that her experience with them was rather interesting, and while listening to some personal tales regarding them was a bit tough, Takina came to respect their commitment to doing good deeds as well as just generally being good people, hoping that her experience with them could help Takina with becoming better at talking and expressing herself with others.
* Their friendship is a unique one, particularly due to their differing personalities and approaches in taking on their tasks and objectives, though it should be noted that Chisato was very stoic and mentally shut off back in her childhood, and her physical state as well as being saved caused her to develop a new perspective on life as well as well as seeing her fellow café members in [=LycoReco=] as her FamilyOfChoice. While their status as Lycoris and DA agents are kept hidden from the public eye, Chisato has enough of a reputation to be quite popular in the House of Pantheon/FriendshipAndCamaraderie, which coincided with [=LycoReco=] have a surge in customers. She enjoys her company in that House, plus her getting alongside kids pretty well means she easily became well-acquainted with the House of Pantheon/ChildhoodAndAdolescence where she ends up having to play maid during tea parties, much to her annoyance as she would rather play a more exciting role with the kids in said House. In Takina's case, she has a more difficult time getting adjusted to social situations partly because she keeps herself quiet and reserved, but she does try to be more emotive as she knows that Chisato is encouraging her to make friends and consider the idea of a friend circle in the Pantheon. At the very least, Takina is starting to open up a bit and hopes that her time in the Pantheon helps her become more sociable.
* As their occupation involves dealing with crimes and preventing societal attacks and disarray to ensure Japan’s safety per DA’s orders, Chisato and Takina have seen themselves dealing with terrorists and anarchists, with their most notable one being a man named Majima, who would resort to extreme and violent acts to, in his words, restore the "balance" of Japan and seeing Lycoris and DA as menaces to society for withholding information and picturing Japan as safe and secure when the truth is anything but, something that the duo agree with, even if they oppose him. The Pantheon has its slew of terrorists and anarchists, and they’ve proven to be just as dangerous and ambitious in their efforts. People like Bill Williamson and Shogo Makishima were incredibly diabolical and were quick to see DA as hindrances to society that they sought to dismantle and they quickly figured that Chisato and Takina were credible threats to their ambitions, though they weren’t above wanting to convince them to play a bigger role and define themselves through superiority per their personal beliefs.
** The Joker was worse, with his similar appearance to Majima being the least of the girls’ concerns; the Clown Prince of Crime was giddy to hear of them as Bats’ new friends and personally got to “invite” them for a show, really a kidnapping attempt and forcing the girls to watch Mizuki, Mika, and Kurumi get killed slowly, knowing that it would cause the girls great anguish and wanting to test whether Chisato would kill him as well as the bonus of sticking it to Bats for harming one of his new allies. While Joker’s plan would fail thanks to Batman’s timely intervention, the events, plus Joker’s psychotic and nihilistic disregard for life, proved harrowing enough that [[EvenTheLovingHeroHasHatedOnes Chisato declared Joker to be among the very few people she genuinely hated]], something that the Clown Prince has nothing but wicked satisfaction out of upon hearing of the girl’s thoughts on him. On the other hand, Anarky proved divisive as while he didn’t like DA’s attempts to masquerade an image of safety and prosperity, he did come to respect Chisato for being a rule-defier and sticking to her code of what is good, even if he disapproves of her occupation. The two admitted that they could get along and he could potentially mentor Kurumi as a hacker as well, but their differing means to make a better place and Anarky’s more destructive methods meant that he would come to clash against Chisato and Takina, though he respects them enough to at least try not to harm them badly.

*Daigo Kagemitsu has struck a deal with demons to gain power for himself and that resulted in his son Hyakkimaru being born without several body parts. Branded as a menace and abandoned by his father in favor of their second son Tahomaru who would become a major adversary for him later on, Hyakkimaru would be adopted by Jukai, a doctor that specializes in prosthetics, and given a prosthetic body and armed with blades to fight in combat thanks to him. Hyakkimaru would later gain a companion in Dororo, the orphaned child of a pair of bandit leaders, and they would work together in getting the stolen body parts back from the demons that took them. With how focused Hyakkimaru is on his quest and the danger involved with becoming as bad as the demons he fights against, Dororo is tasked with making sure Hyakkimaru still maintains a sense of humanity.
*While Hyakkimaru was able to get all of his body parts back, there was a matter of when exactly he will meet with Dororo again. At some point in time after Hyakkimaru succeeded in his mission, Dororo met the blind biwa player that the duo had regularly encountered during their journey. When asked if something will happen that will result in Dororo and Hyakkimaru working together once more, the biwa player responded that even if one were to succeed in their primary goal, there’s still the matter of figuring out what’s next to maintain a true sense of happiness. Learning about the kinds of deals Pinhead engages in with others and the lengths Griffith will go in achieving his goals with the help of a highly monstrous group of demons known as the Godhand made Hyakkimaru and Dororo realize that it was going to require a lot more than just swordsmanship to get rid of the worst kinds of demons that are running around.
