He is also very difficult to take down and often requires several bullets before even staggering backwards.

* The final illustrations showing what happened to the villagers: The music goes from quaint and upbeat to ominously chilling as we see men from Los Illuminados herding everyone into the church, a man is held down while Saddler's minions ready his injection, another man faces away from his concerned family with [[NightmareFace a demonic look on his face]], a child sits in a high chair either dead or dying while her indifferent mother stands nearby, a crowd gasps in horror as a parasite [[BodyHorror rips its way out of someone's throat and his head hangs off to the side]]...

Eventually, after solving a relatively easy puzzle, you enter a room where you obtain the serpent ornant. And then, after hearing some mechanical noises, everything you hear is nothing but the clangs of the now conscious armor statues, coming to get you.

The ensuing fight with him isn't any less intimating - he uproots trees with his bare hands and tries to crush you with boulders the size of a minivan.

** Krauser can do a fair job of hurting Super Salvador provided the player is competent. One arrow from any distance either to the chest or center of mass staggers him and opens him up to follow-up shots.
*** Super Salvador will die in one hit from Krauer's Plaga arm. Both Ada and Wesker can take him out with their rifles from a nice, safe distance (the roof of the two story building with the zip line is a good spot). HUNK's massive grenade arsenal can defeat him quickly. Leon's shotgun, at close range, can stun him.

** The worst part is after you get past the Los Illuminados. ** Provided you didn't double back across the lake at night after facing the Del Lago, your first encounter with the Comillos will be walking up a path at night while a pack of Comillos wait for you. You can actually see them, sitting perfectly still with an evil snarl on their faces, [[http://download.gamezone.com/assets/old/screenshots/rescares8.jpg waiting for you.]] It's ten times worse if you spot the Colmillo's silhouette in the distance and assume that it's your canine buddy who just helped you beat El Gigante not two minutes earlier; MoodWhiplash at its finest.

*** Super Salvador will die in one hit from Krauer's Plaga arm. Both Ada and Wesker can take him out with their rifles from a nice, safe distance (the roof of the two story building with the zip line is a good spot). HUNK's massive grenade arsenal can defeat him quickly. Leon's shotgun, at close range, can stun him. The Bella Sisters from the Village Level are TRUE nightmare fuel. While Waterworld is limited to a mere two Super Salvadors you can face up to FOUR Bella Sisters AT THE SAME TIME in the Village! Unlike Salvador, they RESPAWN.

There's a neat little trick in the room the fight takes place in, where you could pop open a trap door in the middle of the room that would send one of them falling into a pit of molten steel/lava/whatever. It will grab you if you get too close and drag you to your death.

** Encountering the lab where they were created, finding the horrific failed test subjects, and ending up inside a freezer with numerous partially complete creatures hanging from the ceiling with parasites ''visible and still moving'' inside them.

** And then when you enter the second phase of that fight, you manage to kill U-3's host body but the giant parasite keeps fighting you anyway while dragging the limp torso underneath.

* The fight with Bitores Mendez. The guy, who is [[TheBrute freakin' HUGE]], somehow sneaks up on you, starts to strangle you, throws you against the rafters, and proceeds to lock you in [[SuperStrength by bending the door handles with his BARE HANDS!!!]] He then tries to punch you, which would PROBABLY obliterate your head, but you get out of the way and knock over a barrel of gasoline, shoot it so it catches fire, and get away and all the gasoline blows up. But then, of course, the smoke clears, you see his body fall apart, revealing a long, thin hand with giant claws!! Then you see him, standing there, before his torso detaches from his legs, growing a giant spine and a pair of segmented limbs.

* One particularly nightmarish scene is when the Plaga inside Leon's body briefly [[BrainwashedAndCrazy takes control of him]] and forces him to ''nearly choke Ada to death'', complete with RedEyesTakeWarning and a KubrickStare.
