*** Later on, when Morty has a gun held to Rick's head, the action suddenly stops as Morty morphs into a glitched monster... and then the camera cuts back to Rick as though nothing happened and Morty is fine.

* A black glitchy substance of unknown origin is slowly but surely overtaking the entire Warner Bros. multiverse. Characters beloved by millions are being overtaken by this goop and turned into mindless, [[TheUnsmile grinning]] zombies with BlankWhiteEyes, occasional elongated jaws, and {{Ominous Visual Glitch}}es surrounding them that attack or try to capture those who haven't been caught by the goop yet. Characters not known for looking scary such as [[Franchise/ScoobyDoo Scooby-Doo and the gang]], [[WesternAnimation/TheFlintstones Fred Flintstone]], and [[WesternAnimation/TheJetsons George Jetson]] suddenly look pants-soilingly terrifying.

** As mentioned earlier even the bumps were affected, right down to Adult Swim's sign off, which featured a theoretical 'end credits' song for Pibby. Said song itself isn't really creepy as it consists of Pibby singing 'goodbye' to the audience...but it becomes INCREDIBLY creepy when it plays over, NOT the psychedelic sign-off bump AS had been using, but the horrifying [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9KdalJG2dY&ab_channel=JUSXTREME96v2.0 epileptic bump]] the former had replaced...(so if you are sensitive to such, be wary about clicking the link0.

** First, Pibby and [=BunBun=] are warped into the episode ''WesternAnimation/RickAndMorty'' "[[Recap/RickAndMortyS2E4TotalRickall Total Rickall]]", where they are chased by the glitch blob just outside the Smith household while the episode plays out as normal, the family not noticing them.

** The ''Series/TheEricAndreShow'' part reveals that not even live-action TV is safe. The Darkness suddenly attacks during the [[MemeticMutation "Who killed Hannibal" scene]], while Pibby and Bun-Bun watch, the former left horrified at what just happened.

** The ''WesternAnimation/AquaTeenHungerForce'' episode "Muscles" that plays later on usually plays like normal...until a scene where Bun-Bun walks past the trio's house. What happens afterward? [[BodyHorror The moment Master Shake's Muscles come alive is given a horrifying edge, revealing realistic muscles and glitching out as they sprout right out of his body]]. Later on when his muscles pick a fight with the bar, the beaten patrons start glitching out as Pibby chases the wandering Bun-Bun, who's passing it by as the chaos ensues.
** The broadcast shows that while Pibby and [=BunBun=] can see the Darkness, it is capable of insidiously corrupting universes with none of the inhabitants, not even super-genius Rick, being aware that they're being glitched. In the original short, the characters from the targeted shows could at least see the Darkness and run or plan how to fight it, but this shows that the Darkness is fully capable of sneaking up on them, leaving them truly helpless.

** The ''Series/AquaTeenHungerForce'' episode "Muscles" that plays later on usually plays like normal...until a scene where Bun-Bun walks past the trio's house. What happens afterward?
