Imagine, someone you're just becoming friends with who later turned out to be a long-lost relative to a 10-year old you know, after ''barely'' fending off 3 monsters, you got one masked monster ready to unleash some serious whoopass on some humans. Both Aidrian and Jason would've been murdered and there would've been very little for the askers to do to help other than watch, just like the nightmare scenario that would've happened with Maverick.
